Birthday dinner at Ginza Eskiss

[Mapo ★] July 4, 2014 09:00

This year's dinner was opened in the Crystal Building in Ginza two years ago.

Eskiss has a legend that it has won two Michelin stars in less than a year.

The chef is Rio Nar Bekaa. It's the best French restaurant to go now.

It happened to appear in French on TV in a series that started in April.

It was a shop I would definitely like to visit, so this year's birthday is here (* ^^ *).

There's a 19,000 yen course and a 24,000 yen course.

There was a limited menu of Diners Premium Card, so I made it a 24,000 yen course.

If you look at the price alone, it seems expensive, but glass champagne, mineral water, etc.
5 appetizers, fish dish, meat dish, cheese, pre-desale, desale,

There are plenty of coffee and small sweets and souvenirs, so it's actually a great deal.★

And I can drink five kinds of wines that match the dish.

Order Degustation course (10,000 yen).

Champagne is also a benefit of Diners, upgraded to Grand Kru.♪

RIMG1568b.JPG RIMG1569.JPG

On the right side of the Amuses is made from a donko in Oita Prefecture.

RIMG1570b.JPG RIMG1572b.JPG

An appetizer of ricotta cheese. It's very refreshing and summer menu♪

The right is Untan ... I forgot, but this is also refreshing (* ^^ *)

RIMG1573b.JPG RIMG1575b.JPG

There are about three kinds of bread. In the foreground is bamboo butter knife.

And the right is the frog's thigh meat ~ (^^;

It's like chicken and delicious, but if it's a thigh, it's a pretty big frog (> _ <)

RIMG1576b.JPG  RIMG1579b.JPG

My favorite foie gras ~ (* ^^ *) It is not a bonito flake, but it is made with duck-bushi.

It's light and very delicious!

And on the right is Ehime, I forgot it, but the fan shrimp.

This was also a dish like Japanese food that goes well with white wine.

RIMG1578b.JPG RIMG1581b.JPG

Young sweetfish from Lake Biwa and ordinary sweetfish? It's fragrant and charcoal-grilled.

The right is the lamb ... I forgot which flesh.

But it's like beef without the peculiar smell of sheep.

RIMG1582x.JPG RIMG1583.JPG

And cheese~ (*^^*)

Mimorett, Epois, Blue, Camanbele, Shavre and

I asked them to sort them out little by little (*^^*)

Just because five kinds of wine are over with the main meat, for cheese ...

Sommelier seems to have been thinking of drinking later

There is an echezo for leftovers, so I can serve it a little cheaper.

As expected, Echezo is really delicious ♪ By the way, the glass was 3500 yen.

And dessert! The dessert is in charge of the Japanese Narita Patissier.

It was Milfeuille that also appeared at the French fair in Mitsukoshi!

RIMG1587.JPG RIMG1589.JPG

Milfeuille is ordered separately as a birthday cake (3200 yen)

Of course, I took this home.

First of all, there is a pre-desale and the main desale.

RIMG1596.JPG RIMG1597.JPG

Both use various fruits, many sauces are made of bubbles, and desserts are perfect when it is really hot.

It doesn't irresistible to the stomach, the calorie seems low (* ^^ *)

RIMG1598.JPG RIMG1603.JPG

And small sweets and coffee. There were two boxes of souvenir Petitfool.

The small confectionery macaron and canule were delicious (*^^*)

It is the smallest of the French that I have eaten so far.

It was a gentle French with a lot of Japanese ingredients that did not come to my stomach (*^^ *)

The light of "Ranpo" disappears [Coffee specialty store closed]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] July 2, 2014 17:00

It seems that Ginza 1-chome "Rampo" introduced in this blog before will close.

It is a coffee specialty store on the first floor of the 85-year-old Suzuki Building selected by Historic buildings in Tokyo.

Closed in the 26th year since the store opened

I am a newcomer, but I am very sorry that this shop has regulars since the opening of the store.

lamm2.JPGIt seems that this closing is due to the health reasons of the master who has been working alone for a long time, so it must be unavoidable.

It seems that the last business day of the shop is July 11 (Friday).

From the Master, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have been patronized for a long time.

Master, thank you for always good coffee m(___)m

lamm1.JPGCoffee specialty store Ranpo, 1-28-15 Ginza, Chuo-ku

Open from 7:00 to 17:30, closed on Saturdays and Sundays

Tanabata in Ginza Tanaka

[Silver] July 2, 2014 12:00

When you step into the store of Takashi Tanaka Metal Jewelry Co., Ltd. in Ginza 1-chome, you can see "Sasa-no-ha Sarasara". ♪ The Tanabata of "~" is displayed.
A lot of customers and passers-by visit the shop, entrusting the desired wish in golden strips.

When I stepped into the shop, a kind clerk gently spoke and handed me a strip.

I write wish on a strip of bamboo leaves and hang it.
I entrusted my wish, "I hope the world will be peaceful and everyone will live happily."

Hachijuro is next to the Western restaurant Central Metropolitan Tax Office.

[Silver] July 2, 2014 09:00

There was an errand at the Kyobashi Tax Office and the Central Metropolitan Tax Office, so check the nearby restaurants.

The store opened from 11:30, but those who have already lined up before 11 o'clock, when I asked them, they were the first time, but they came to hear their reputation from friends .

The name of the shop is "Yajuro". Somehow, it's like a historical drama shop, but there are also Spanish ingredients and wines, so it's a refreshing Western restaurant.

Today's lunch menu is "Hitachi beef roast beef" or "Hitachi beef hamburger". It was 1,000 yen. (As of May 31, 2014)

After wondering which one to choose, I ordered roast beef.

The first soup was like meat and potatoes soup, and it was moderately sweet and very delicious.

The roast beef that came out with the salad is the size of the large spread thumb and little finger.

Two large meat cuts about 22cm in length and about 10cm in width. Wow!

P1000636.JPGP1000636.JPG

It was delicious with a slightly crisp, Radish sauce.

There is a lot of rice, so if you're OK with a little, it's better to offer that effect when ordering.

After checking, I gave you a take-out coffee.

At night, you can enjoy many kinds of wines.

Cried vegetables are 980 yen for three kinds of appetizers and 1480 yen for five kinds. The highest Hitachi beef serloin is 1680 yen, the two Hitachi beef is 1980 yen. Fogle skewers baked in Bincho charcoal are 890 yen, Spanish raw ham and pasta are 790 yen.

I have to go this! That's why

On June 24, I came to lunch again after finalizing the corporate tax return at the Kyobashi Tax Office and finalizing the corporate tax and business tax at the Central Metropolitan Tax Office.

Today, I met a friend. It was a fun lunch time at the same table.

Today is the gaspaccio soup. It's a little sour soup that wakes up your appetite. Next, "Hitachi Beef Handmade Hamburger" arrived. (The photo is as follows.)

P1000692.JPG

The texture of the coarse ground meat was chewy and very juicy.

The price didn't change, and it was 1,000 yen.

I enjoyed a delicious meal.

NHK's serial TV novel "Hanako and Ann"-Cafe Culture and Kyobunkan-

[Sumida Fireworks] July 1, 2014 14:00

NHK's serial TV novel "Hanako and Ann". This story depicting the life of translator Hanako Muraoka seems to have a good audience rating. The subtitle for mid-June and 12th week is "Let's meet at a cafe in Ginza." The stage of the story has moved from Kofu to Tokyo.s_hanabi5-1.jpg

The time is Ginza, Tokyo in the spring of 1919 (Daisho 8). The main character, Hana Ando (Yuriko Yoshitaka), who decided to work at a publishing company in Tokyo to fulfill his dream, relies on his sister Kayo (Kuroki Hana) and comes to "Cafe Domingo" in Ginza.

I'm surprised to have worked as a woman's salary for a cafe.
"Would you like to order 'Brazil Coffee'? All the guests here come for a drink."
"Hell, that,"
Don't drink coffee for the first time if recommended. From such a scene, the story of Ginza began.

In the Taisho era, when the gorgeous culture flourished, dramas also convey the glamorousness of those days from hairstyles, fashion and cafes.
It seems that cafes were very popular around Ginza at that time, and this scene was just said to be the etymology of "silver Bra", such as "drinking Brazilian coffee at Cafe Paulista in Ginza".

s_hanabi5-2.jpg

Café Paulista famous for this "silver Bra". At that time, it seems to have been at Ginza 6-chome, but now Paulista is located along Ginza 8-chome, Chuo-dori.

Another stage of this drama in Ginza, the publisher "Soubundo". Here, Ando Hana works as an editor and meets his love partner.
The model is "Kyobunkan" located in Ginza 4-chome, in the middle of Ginza. The actual Hanako Muraoka also worked as an editor here and seems to have met her husband, Keizo Muraoka.

s_hanabi5-3.jpg
The exhibition is now being held at this Kyobunkan, entitled "Hanako Muraoka Encounter and Beginning Kyobunkan".

s_hanabi5-4.jpg

This exhibition introduces and displays encounters with Keizo from childhood to student days, work at the Kyobunkan, encounters with red hair Anne, and books translated by Hanako.
In particular, there are many things that you can't easily see, such as the handwritten "Ann of Red Hair" manuscript and the love letter with Keizo who became her husband.
Also, the building of this Kyobunkan itself feels like the atmosphere of that time is transmitted.

s_hanabi5-6.jpg

In the future, I am interested in how Hanako Muraoka's life will be depicted in dramas.
If you come to this exhibition, the pleasure of watching the drama may double.
