What time have I been sitting?

[Shubo's Ten Hands] April 29, 2017 16:00

Lion statue bmp

Was there a child, grandchild, or great-grandchild near me? Or I wonder if he was a grandson.

I've been sitting for a long time~ How long should I sit?

But I can't get old at all, how many have I become?

I'm a lion statue of Mitsukoshi.

The photo shows the front entrance of Ginza Mitsukoshi. The statue was born in 1914 when it was set up in front of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

The lion statue was ordered by U.K. when the manager of the time, Ousuke Hibi, visited Europe and the United States to open a department store.

It took 3 years to complete. It seems that there is a wish that Mitsukoshi will reign in the department store industry like the King Lion of Beasts.

The lion statue at the head office is 102 years old. This is a lion statue of Ginza Mitsukoshi. I was born in 1972 and is 45 years old. I think it's probably a child or a grandchild who is beside him.

I'll welcome you to Mitsukoshi.

Please come by all means. I'll be waiting for you.

Special performance for young people commemorating the opening of the Kanze Noh Theater - GINZA SIX

1. April 28, 2017 16:00

100_2364.JPG 100_2365.JPG

This is GINZA SIX, the most seasonal place in Tokyo, which opened on April 20. At the peak of the first day, I waited for 2 hours to enter the store ... There are 241 stores, so I decided to enjoy the shop slowly, and it was Kanze Noh Theater that came today. There is a guide to Noh Theater next to the entrance facing Mihara-dori, which is also the departure and arrival point for sightseeing buses, and the escalator is up to the third basement floor.

100_2366.JPG

The open glass entrance is full of festive flowers, and Noh actors welcome visitors. A special performance commemorating the opening will continue from the opening of the 20th to May 6th. Today, young people perform Noh performances such as Noh "Ran", Kyogen "Cochlea", dance "Takasago", and Hanno "Ishibashi". I've been in Noh for a long time, and it's been almost two years. After all, when I was listening to the song, I fell asleep, and there was a sense of guilty. This time, the sect said, "Noh can sleep easily. There are actually people who come to the Noh Theater to enjoy sleeping. It seems that if healthy people are listening to songs, biorhythm will stabilize and sleepy, "he said in Nikkei. I couldn't sleep at all, whether I was relieved, and enjoyed two hours. It's a commemorative performance, so it's one of the pleasures to see the wonderful things of visitors. You're lucky. Eye buff

In an interview article before the opening of the 26th sect family, "Kanze will return to Ginza." "There was a Kanze mansion in Ginza 1-2-chome as of the Edo period. In 1633, he worshiped a mansion of about 500 tsubo from the third shogun Iemitsu, and kept it for 236 years until he returned to Yoshinobu in the Meiji Restoration. " Immediately, a map of the Kaei era was shown at the Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center in Edo Grand in Kyobashi.

IMG_20170425_132802_.jpg

An old map of the Kaei era appears from the current map around Ginza 1-chome to 2-chome. When it enlarged quite a bit, "There was!" You can see the display of "Kanze Tayu". I also took a picture, so please take a look. Speaking of which, the current "Ginza Gaslight Street" was "Kanze Street" until 2004. In addition to the regular "Kanzekai Noh Lecture", "Asaichi Noh Salon" to learn in one hour before going to work is also being planned, so why not enjoy the Kanze Noh Theater "Returned to Ginza"?

Marronnier is blooming on Marronnier Street

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 28, 2017 09:00

Marronnier, a street tree on Ginza Marronnier Street, is blooming.

marro001.JPG

Since the color of the blooming flowers is beautiful red and red, I think it is Benibana Tochinoki.

marro002.JPG

This benibana horse chestnut is said to have been made by a combination of two species, marronnier native to Western Europe and American acabana horse chestnut native to North America. It seems that it came to Japan around the end of the Taisho era.

It seems that it is more widespread in Japan than Marronnier and is a well-grown tree.

marro003.JPG

The shape of the leaves is characteristic, with a length of 10cm to 15cm, and 5 to 7 leaflets form a palm-shaped leaf. It's called a palm-shaped compound leaf.

marro004.JPG

The flowering season is just right now.

Red and red flowers at the tip of the branch bloom together to form a round spike.

It has a lot of spikes, so it stands out from a distance.

marro005.JPG

By the way, Marronnier seems to be one of the "four major street trees in the world", and the other three trees are Platanus, leek, and bodige.

Matryoshka classroom continues ~ GINZA HAKKO tree incense ~

[rosemary sea] April 27, 2017 14:00

It's rosemary sea, which makes up "gifts and I enjoy myself".

DSC02235a.jpgGinza 6-chome, which is crowded with customers of GINZA SIX, which opens on April 20, and GINZA HAKKO tree incense (Kinoka) in 7-chome right next to it, the other day I introduced the shop.

The shop is on the first floor that handles a variety of wood crafts and wood crafts such as Russian folk art Matryoshka and German folk art walnuts.

On the first basement floor, which leads from the store on the first floor, there is a space related to classrooms and exhibitions.

On April 21, the day of the interview, a painting artist, Yuri Takeichi, held a "Matryoshka Classroom".

Professor Takeichi, you are beautiful, young, very kind and polite.

※ Click on your computer to view the image.

DSC02261a.jpg DSC02263a.jpg

DSC02209a.jpgDSC02236a.jpgAs you know, Matryoshka is a doll of Russian folk art. A so-called "need" doll in which several layers of Russian female dolls come out from inside.

Its roots are also referred to as Hakone-crafted Seven Lucky Gods nested doll.

It is also popular as a talisman for safe delivery and child treasure. Perfect as a gift.

There is also a legend that if you breathe the smallest doll with a wish and overlap it and keep it as it is, the wish will come true.

Nevalian deer (= wake-up spill) does not open inside, but it contains metal and makes a very beautiful sound. Best for baby toys.

This day was a day when you could choose and make both Matryoshka and Nebariyashika.

The yellow machine, Hakumitsu Co., Ltd.'s electric pen, my pen α, is located in the center of the table. The temperature setting is 10 levels, and the tip of the pen is 4 patterns.

Using this, the teacher showed the technique of wood burning (scorched picture).

Dr. Yuri Takeichi's classroom is held twice a month on Friday. 3 hours from 14:00 to 17:00. The capacity is 6 people. There were also students from Shizuoka on this day.

In order to finish the work, it will be divided into two to three times.

Matryoshka is a system that makes one set of three types, and two for Nebariyashika.

 I draw a sketch.

Wood burning (using an electric pen to burn wood and draw a picture).

  It's usually a day here.

 Acrylic Gash (described later).

   ※ What is Acrylic Gash?

One of the acrylic paints is opaque. Painting that remains opaque even if the amount of water is adjusted. Since acrylic resin is used for the binder (glue that fixes pigment), once dried, it becomes water resistant and the paint does not dissolve in water.

Another feature is that it has strong adhesive strength and can be colored in a wide range of materials such as wood. It is opaque like a poster color, and when it dries, it becomes matte.

Finished. This is also important. Put the teak on the cheek to complete it.

The teacher has been running for about two years. At first, the classroom was opened on a single shot.

I'm looking for students. Reservation required. But some people are repeating. If you make one set, you can make another set or change the pattern.

There is also a classroom for teachers other than Dr. Yuri Takeichi.

The other classrooms will be explained in the next article.
