[Showa Doritanken Record] #09: vegetarian sweets "AIN SOPH" (Ginza 4-chome)

[Dye] May 31, 2017 16:00

Last November, there was a shop with a nice atmosphere very close to Kabukiza.

This is "Ain Soph (AIN SOPH)".

s42_01.JPG

It is located along Showa-dori in the same block as Kabukiza Theater.

It is said that Ain Soph means "infinity". I wonder if the tree of life comes from.

We offer a complete vegan meal and sweets.

The Ginza store opened in 2009 and was reopened last November at the current store along Showa-dori. Sweets such as pudding, tiramisu, raisin sandwich are sold on the first floor, and meals are available on the second and fourth floors.

s42_02.JPG s42_03.JPG

There are also puddings and tiramisu ♡ Natural Granora.

I've been worried about it for half a year...
I finally got pudding and tiramisu.

s42_04.jpg

It's cute because it's in a bottle. It seems that pudding uses kudzu.

I love sweets very much, but they usually have plenty of animal protein and sugar, such as fresh cream, and if you eat too much, you will also swallow a little guilty. 。 。 (´・ω・`)
...Yes! !Ain Soph's sweets are made from animal protein-free and made from domestic and pesticide-free ingredients, so it feels like incorporating the power of nature into the body.

And it's really delicious.

When you pass your throat, you can think of a high-quality kuzumochi for a moment....But surely vanilla fragrant pudding and rich and fragrant caramel are exquisite match. Well, I can't tell you well in words, so please eat it (laughs).

Don't you think it's unsatisfactory if it's not something animal?...The concern was completely unfounded.
Children can say "Eat Tanto ^^" with peace of mind! ! I can't do it often (^^;
In fact, my home Taro Masanao ate with Pakpaku in an instant.

Everybody has the power of infinite (Ain Soph), but natural ingredients may bring out it.
There is also a sense of luxury, and I think you will be pleased with souvenirs (` ・ ω ・ ')!
I recommend it.

Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE "When weave the Time of Kenji Nonaka Exhibition"

[Mill] May 31, 2017 12:00

The event was held at Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE in Ginza 1-chome from May 10 to 14.

We visited "When weave the time of Kenji Nonaka exhibition".

DSC_5751.JPG

Mr. Nonaka is a dyeing designer and creator.

Founder of Hata-Ryusha, Nishijin Misobo in Kyoto.

This was the first large-scale solo exhibition.

As a culmination of yourself, it seems that you have been preparing for a few years ago.

Unfortunately, in March this year, when the venue composition and work were finished, he died suddenly.

The exhibition was held in a way that took over Mr. Nonaka's will.

DSC_5763.JPG

Even if the person's appearance is not present at the venue

From a number of beautiful works on display

Nonaka's personality, dyeing, weaving, and passion in the material seems to be transmitted.

I felt as if I was at the venue.

DSC_5761.JPG

The words of the theme of the exhibition were impressive.

The beginning is a drop of drop

 It was a murmuring,

Eventually, it will become a river.

Create the earth, pour it into the ocean, and

If you climb the sky, it will be a rain of grace.

 Return to the earth

It begins to flow as a brighter new life

In line with words that hear the sound of Smetana's "Moldau" can be heard, Nonaka's world was developed throughout the first to third floors of Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE.

DSC_5765.JPG

The color of Nishijin weaving, which is woven with pre-dyed yarn, is said to be life.

In order to create beautiful colors, the goodness of water is important, and Mr. Nonaka's feelings for thanking the existence of the water seemed to be transmitted.

The works born from the aesthetic sense cultivated in history and tradition had a very innocent and fresh impression.

The pure and mellow happiness filled the venue, and I felt again that something really beautiful was always mellow.

DSC_5741.JPG

An exhibition that combines kimono and obi with breathtaking beauty.

The exhibition method like an installation of contemporary art was very fresh, and I enjoyed the unique color matching unique to kimono.

While focusing on traditional manufacturing, Mr. Nonaka has been boldly innovating and continuing to play an active part in challenging completely new things.

I felt as if the entire exhibition taught me that it was possible to preserve tradition and pass it on to the next generation because it was constantly challenging and changing.

DSC_5747.JPG

During the exhibition, there were also events related to traditional Japanese culture by Gensho Umewaka, a Noh performer and an important intangible cultural property holder, Takaho Sasaoka of the former Sasaoka family, and Munei Kanazawa of the tea ceremony Urasenke body.

I participated for two days and was able to hear a lot of interesting stories.

Gensho Umewaka's lecture entitled "Nohmen and Tradition" includes talks about challenges to new things, such as performances overseas and co-starring with different cultures such as ballet, and valuable Noh masks brought. I was able to ask interesting stories.

At the talk show between Takaho Sasaoka and Munei Kanazawa, we were able to have a good time at the venue for the two people who spoke genuinely about the specialty fields of flower arrangement and tea ceremony without decorating.

At a workshop held by Mr. Sasaoka to live flowers in a small coffee cup, Mr. Sasaoka was impressed with the appearance of Mr. Sasaoka, who is using flowers to snuggle up with the feelings of the flowers.

In addition, Mr. Kanazawa's point, which was held on a different day, was also very popular with everyone.

A truly luxurious event by leading Japanese culture experts.

It was a very meaningful moment to feel the attitude of facing beauty with the obedientness like the flow of water, which is similar to Mr. Nonaka's work.

"Chirimen Crepe", which is said to have been named after the 11th Shogun Ienari Tokugawa, is known as the finest textile material.

Nonaka-san's Hata-ryusha brand, "Yuzuki", Nishijin's call, and fashionable denim kimono "Denimudosu" are also available at Ginza Mitsukoshi.

The image of a girl on Ginza Hanatsubaki Street "Hana"

[AWL] May 29, 2017 12:00

GINZA SIX has been bustling since its opening, but on the nearby Hanatsubaki-dori street, it is located nearby.

A statue of a ponytail girl with camellia "Hana" is quietly placed.

The origin of Hanatsubaki-dori is Izumo Tsubaki (Japanese camellia), which was contributed by Izumo in the early Showa era.

It was named because it was planted as a street tree.

IMG_0403.JPGIMG_0402 (1). JPGIMG_0401 (1). JPG

On the side and back of the girl statue, "Hana", donated by Masao Saito, Hiroyuki Mogi,

The plate of the origin of the installation is embedded.

In commemoration of the completion of the environmental improvement project promoted by the Ginza Hanatsubaki-dori Shopping Street Promotion Association with Chuo-ku, Tokyo

It is said that this statue was installed in March 1993 after the road nickname "Hanatsubaki-dori".

It is on the left side of the intersection of Chuo-dori and Hanatsubaki-dori toward Showa-dori.

[Higashiginza] South Indian dish "Dharmasagara (Dharmasagara)"

[Ino-chan] May 29, 2017 09:00

Enjoy authentic Indian cuisine while looking at Indian-style temples

The restaurant I would like to introduce this time is a South Indian restaurant.

When I visited for the first time, I was fascinated by the scenery seen from this window.

IMG_9500.JPG

It's Tsukiji Honganji.

Here in Dharmasagara (Dharmasagara), this beautiful ancient Indian style main hall

You can enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine while looking at it.

What is South Indian cuisine?

India has a large land and has different climates depending on the region.

There is also a difference in temperature between the north and south, and there are differences in crops and cooking methods.
Indian cuisine can be broadly divided into South Indian cuisine and North Indian cuisine.

When it comes to Indian cuisine, there are many people who think of curry to eat with Nan.

Isn't it? Match with rich curry made with animal fat such as butter

The style of staple food made from flour baked Nan and Chapatty is often seen in Japan.

They are North Indian cuisine.

Dharmasagara specializes in South Indian cuisine.

Curry is less oily and smooth, and has a sour and light taste.

Because there are abundant menus centered on beans and vegetables, and rice is the staple food.
The shop owner also says that it only fits the taste of Japanese people.

"Meirs" set meal of South Indian cuisine

What I ordered was "Meals B Set Vegetable Course" (2,000 yen excluding tax).

Meals is a set meal of South Indian cuisine, from side dishes to staple food on a single plate.
IMG_9510.JPG

Polyyal (fried vegetable spices). It was a good day.

IMG_9517.JPG

Curry is a sambaru of beans and vegetables. In the back is a sour soup, rassam.

IMG_9516.JPG

On the back of the fluffy fried bread called Pully in the middle, a spicy fried rice cracker papad was hidden.

It is recommended not only to eat it as it is, but also to crush it with crispy and mix it with curry to enjoy the change in texture.

IMG_9514.JPG

The side menu chooses Masarawada, which is often eaten in South India (fried coarsely ground chickpeas).
It has a sauce of coconut.
The use of coconut milk and coconut oil is also a characteristic of South Indian cuisine.

IMG_9515.JPG
Next to Masara Wada is lemon achar (picrus) and herb chatsune (paste-like condiment).
I mix it little by little with curry, but this is refreshing and really delicious.

In addition, lighters (yogurt salad) and jasmine rice were on board.

Each meal is placed in a small vessel, but there is enough quantity and everything.

By the time I finished eating, my stomach and heart were filled.

In a quiet and calm shop. A relaxing time is flowing.

IMG_9499.JPG

It was a time when I thought about India far from Chuo-ku.

Ginza Six Limited ★Jingoro rice cracker

[Mapo ★] May 27, 2017 09:00

I happened to find it at Ginza Six, but
As a souvenir from my cousin niece who lived in Tochigi before
I had it and it was delicious.
Salad-flavored rice cracker I bought when I went on a trip to Tochigi.

The shop was built in Ginza Six.

There are two exclusive Ginza Six products.
I have a fruit called "Kurami" and a white chocolate cake
I bought a rice cracker.

RIMG3390.JPG RIMG3388.JPG

I wonder if this kind of peculiarity is like a salad-flavored rice cracker
As I thought, it's really delicious because it's just sold as a limited product.♪
The salad taste is light, so it feels sweet and sour.
It looks gorgeous and can be used as a souvenir or gift.

Also, I'm glad that you can easily buy ordinary Jingoro rice crackers in Ginza.

A European travel specialty store is in Ginza!

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 25, 2017 14:00

I heard that a travel agency specializing in Western Europe opened in Ginza 4-chome, so I went there immediately.

his01.JPG

This is the grand opening of "H.I.S. Ginza Western Specialty Store" in the H.I.S. Ginza Main Store on May 8th.

his02.JPG

I have a plan to travel to South Italy next year, so I'm a little quick, but I asked you what kind of plan I would suggest.

his03.JPG

The concept of the shop is "Travel to Create" (), and it seems that 10 full-time staff members who are familiar with Western Europe, such as those who have lived in Western Europe, those who have traveled more than 20 times, and those who have studied abroad, are assigned.

his04.JPG

To the person in charge, `` South Italy, where I want to go is Naples, Pompei, Amalfi, Sorrento, Blue Cave, Alberlobello, Sicily '' unilaterally said where I wanted to go, and in a 9-day journey, I had you look for the best tour.

I was impressed by the amount of knowledge and ability of the person in charge.

his05.JPG

For European travel lovers, it's a long-awaited best store.

By the way, I made a reservation for the trip that I had planned next year earlier this fall.

In addition, we received your consent for photography at the store.

Thank you very much
