At Takiyamamachi in Kyobashi
A newspaper company
It's a little bit of a light
6-6-7, Ginza.
On the sidewalk facing Namiki-dori St., there is Takuboku Ishikawa singing monument.
The portrait of Takuboku in a young age. There is a three-line song below it.
It is a work included in the songbook "A handful of Sands".
It is lovely that woodpecker stands behind the monument.
Because it is in front of a glittering brand shop, it may be difficult to imagine Takuboku.
This place was founded by the Tokyo Asahi Shimbun, the predecessor of the Asahi Shimbun.
Takuboku has been working at the company building here as a proofreader since March 1909.
Kyobashi Ward is an administrative district before it was integrated with Nihonbashi Ward and became Chuo-ku.
It is an accumulation area of information and a place of transmission.
In the evening, the reporters who finished the interview returned to the company building, and as the rotator echoes, the hot yelling shouts flew.
The heavy smell of ink also rises.
The windows of the company building are filled with vibrant radiance.
It is a song of work that is rare for Takuboku.
Japanese language time in the second year of junior high school. The teacher chose more than a hundred and dozens of songs from Takuboku's songbooks and presented a task to memorize.
With that as a competition, it will hold a round robin recitation competition for all classes.
I felt reluctant to the memorization system, but when I read it out several times in a loud voice, it came down with a loud noise in my chest.
Hey, sucky.
Lie down on the grass of the castle of Kozukata
Sucking in the sky
The fifteenth heart
With a paperback book in hand, I looked at the sky at the site of Morioka Castle.
It was a long time ago.
After going down the castle ruins and crossing Nakanohashi over the Nakatsu River, you will find the main building of the 90th National Bank head office, which was completed in 1910.
Taking advantage of this important cultural property building, it is now a literary museum called "Morioka Takuboku / Kenji Seishunkan".
Look around the exhibition.
It's overflowing.
The song of Takuboku with sweet and sour, bittersweet memories.

At Ginza 1-chome, a gallery facing Showa-dori, Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE, "The World of Beautiful Plankan Beads Embroidery-Plankan Traditional Culture Spinning with the World's Smallest Beads-" is currently being held.
The building with the gallery is a retro decorative tile-mounted building with nearly 90 years old, selected as one of the Top 100 Modern Buildings in Chuo-ku.
The event will be held from Wednesday, April 25 to April 29 (Sun).
Opening hours are from 11:00 to 18:00.
Please note that the last day will be until 16:00.
In this exhibition, I first learned about the traditional culture of "Planakan culture".
Born on the Malay Peninsula around the 16th century, it is a unique culture in which cultural customs from West, China and Southeast Asia are mixed together.
One of the fines of that culture is the world's smallest glass bead embroidery, and the gallery displays a very beautiful pranakan bead shoes decorated with the bead embroidery.
These elaborately embroidered Pranakan Beads shoes are still loved in Singapore and Malaysia as shoes to wear on weddings and other "Sunny Day".
The organizer, Hiroko Tanaka, lives in Singapore and was impressed by the splendor of Pranakanbead shoes, and learned the traditional techniques of planakanbead embroidery in earnest in various parts of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Currently, she offers embroidery classes in Singapore and Tokyo, and also teaches local high school students and international students from Taiwan as an external lecturer at the Traditional Craft Program of the Department of Education of the Singapore Government.
On the first floor of the venue, about 30 pairs of works are exhibited and exhibited, and on the second floor, rare antique collections made in the 1890s, embroidery frames and beads used for production are also exhibited.
It is said that this exhibition will be held for the first time in Japan () specializing in embroidery of pranacan beads.
By all means, please feel the wonderfulness of Planakan bead embroidery directly with your eyes.
Mr. Tanaka himself gave a special understanding of the photography in the gallery, and Mr. Tanaka himself gave a friendly and polite explanation of the work and the culture of Pranakan.
Thank you very much

"Look for Warley!" Looking for Warley with "black frame glasses, red and white shirt, knit hat" from crowds This is a popular picture book series all over the world. The Warley exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of its birth in 2017 has begun on April 18th. This is the first time that valuable original drawings have been released in Japan, and many parents and children have at the venue. It's also interesting to see that Warley's face at the time of "In Town", which was first published in 1987, turns into a sharp face as the series is repeated. I missed the competition to look for children.
At the end of the exhibition, there is a "Find Warley with Tea Flowers" corner, and you can enjoy it with a smile that all the luggage loaded on the hoodie is "Tea Hanaden". Looking at my situation, which I couldn't find easily, the next one gently told me.
In the next exhibition space, "MOE 40th Anniversary 5 People Exhibition" is being held at the same time. Yuka Shimada, Komako Sakai, Yuko Higuchi, Shinsuke Yoshitake, Nakaya Miwa, and are now popular picture book writers who debuted with "MOE". I'm helping children read stories at the library, but I'm happy to have two books I just picked up last week. You can enjoy 200 original drawings. It is recommended for viewing with your children at GW.

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes. Suddenly, have you ever seen underground in Tokyo? For those who commute by subway every day or go to the grocery section of the department store, this is the case. The underground may be a familiar place. However, you can see underground in Chuo-ku that such people will not know yet!
The identity of the underground is called a communal ditch. Let's briefly explain for those who say "What is a common ditch?"
A communal ditch is a facility that houses lifelines such as telephone, electricity, gas, water and sewerage, etc. underground. ①Securing smooth road traffic (reduction of street construction) ②Securing safe lifeline accommodation space ③Improvement of Urban Landscapes ④Improvement of Urban Disaster Prevention Functions This is the main objective.
Such an infrastructure that is difficult to see. In Chuo-ku, you can see it from the observation windows installed at the following two locations.
◼️ Nihonbashi Service Pipe Near the B1 Exit of Nihombashi Station on the Ginza Line
It's a bit difficult to understand, but there's a window at the end of the stairs on the left that can't get out of the ground. This communal ditch was set up in June 1972 under the sidewalk on both sides of the national highway from Nihonbashi Muromachi 3-chome to Kyobashi 3-chome. It seems to be 2.7 km on both sides.
If you look into it, the infrastructure that supports the city was neatly housed!
◼️ Near the A13 exit of Ginza Station on the Ginza Kyodo Mizo Ginza Line (directly connected to Matsuya)
In the wake of the outbreak of cholera in 1832, the communal ditch was born in Paris the following year as a measure against sewage treatment. In Japan, as part of the Imperial Capital Reconstruction Project following the Great Kanto Earthquake (mid-1920s). It is said that it was the first time that it was introduced on a trial basis at three locations including Yaesu Street.
This joint ditch in Ginza was held in October 1968 as a commemorative project for 1967. It is set up under the sidewalks on both sides of 1-chome to 8-chome on Ginza Street, and extends 2km on both sides. As a result, there were no telephone poles from Ginza, street trees and street lights were reborn. A row of willow trees has come to be impressed as a landscape of Ginza. The transition is evident in the photos before the communal ditch was developed.
■State of Ginza Street in 1900
■The Ginza Kaido in 1911
Even though something like a willow is shown, telephone poles and electric wires stand out. I guess it's far from the clean Ginza landscape today.
It was the first time that a willow was planted in Ginza in 1877. However, considering the history of the communal groove in mind. It can be seen that it took about a century for willow to be established as a Ginza-like landscape. It is the scenery of Ginza that has become commonplace now. It was a surprising discovery that the infrastructure was realized by being housed underground.
Now that we have become a convenient world, we tend to forget about infrastructure that we don't usually see. In Chuo-ku, you can feel it close. When you stop by for commuting, going to school, walking, or traveling, why don't you take a peek through the window?

Marronnier on Ginza Marronnier Street has begun to bloom.
A cheerful day reminiscent of early summer continues, and flowers are beginning to open at a stretch.
It is characterized by a large conical inflorescence at the tip of the branch.
It's a dark pink flower
Marronnier is characterized not only by flowers but also by leaves, with 5 to 7 palm-shaped compound leaves, like hands.
