On August 25, the milestone two years before the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, on MEGA WEB, "Two years to hold!" Various events were held in various places, including the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Countdown Event for Everyone's Tokyo 2020 2Years to Go! At the Tokyo Sky Tree, special lighting is lit to commemorate the two years before the tournament.
18:15~24:00
It is coordinated in three colors (red, blue, and green) of the Paralympic symbol "Three Agitos".
The Tokyo Sky Tree overlooking the Eitai Bridge from Chuo-ohashi Bridge is dyed in "para-color" and plays a role in fostering momentum.
On this day, the maximum temperature in Tokyo was 35.6 ° C, the first hot day in 22 days since August 3. The traffic of Sumida River Night Cruise houseboats and cool boats is also conspicuous.

The Eitai Bridge Bridge was built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 50th Edo shogunate Shogun Tsunayoshi Tokugawa, and was the first bridge on the Sumida River for a long time until Kachidokibashi was built in 1940. There is a stone monument about 200m upstream from now, but it has been removed due to the construction of Toyomi Bridge.
After Akaho Nanji's defeat at Kira Uenosuke Yashiki, he crossed the Sumida River using this bridge. There is a place where we took a break on the Koto-ku side.
The current Eitai Bridge is one of the reconstruction projects following the Great Kanto Earthquake, built in 1926 and has been designated as a national important cultural property. The Bank of Japan was founded in Hakozakicho, near Eitai Bridge, not the main building of the current Nihonbashi Bank of Japan head office.

There are many scenic spots along the Sumida River, and there are many cherry blossom viewing spots, but this is also one of the best places. Many people enjoy cherry blossom viewing during the cherry blossom season. Last time I introduced kawazu-zakura, but there is also a tree that blooms early in Eitai Bridge Nishizume (about two weeks earlier than the cherry blossoms along Shinkawa Park) and blooms next to kawazu-zakura.

Eitai Bridge also passes under the bridge, but the road is low here, so be careful when passing because it is flooded when the tide is full.

Hello, this is Minato kid.
Today, I came to the sidewalks of Nihonbashikabutocho and Kayabacho.
♪ Welcome to the sidewalk museum!
At the foot of the bus stop at Kayabacho 1-chome, I found a picture of Toden.
The Toden in the picture seems to be 19 lines.
It was the route from Dori Sanchome to Oji Station.
In addition, there are many systems that pass through Kayabacho, and it seems that it was a key point of transportation at that time.
It goes back to 1903 that a tram began running in Tokyo.
Time changed, and in the 1940s and 1940s, the transportation network from Toden to subway changed drastically.
There was also a picture of Toden on the sidewalk on the Kabuto-cho side.
I wonder if this is dusk. The sky dyed indigo is beautiful.
Well, let's walk towards Armor Bridge. I found two pictures of flowers. In this area, there is a street called Ueki Nagaya. On the fair, there was a market selling plants and bonsai.
Kabuto-cho and Kayabacho are towns surrounded by three rivers. Nihonbashi River, Kaede River and Kamejima River. During the Edo period, there were many unloading sites and warehouses along the river.
In 1872, Eiichi Shibusawa, the father of modern capitalism, set up a residence in Kabuto-cho and founded Daiichi National Bank and Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The five-story tower building that resembles the central keep in the distance is the Daiichi National Bank.
Well, it's the sidewalk in front of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
It was in 1931 that the cylindrical main building was completed.
A doris-style order column, a statue representing commerce, engineering, agriculture, and transportation, was placed at the top.
In the rear, there was a market hall. The ceiling was a majestic space with a skylight fitted with stained glass in a pale color.
In 1988, it was rebuilt into the current building.
The sidewalk with pictures is interesting, isn't it?
I feel like I can see the expression of the town.
From now on, I would like to walk in Chuo-ku, cherishing the encounter with wonderful sidewalks.

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes. On the 12th, I went to see the main shrine festival (Ninomiya carrying of miniature shrines) at Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine (Koto-ku)! It is said that it will pass through Chuo-ku, and wait near Eitai Bridge. One hour before the passage, local people with cameras and tourists from overseas are crowded, and it is very busy. As expected, along with the Sanno Festival at Hie-jinja Shrine in Akasaka and the Kanda festival of Kanda Myojin, it is one of the three major festivals in Edo. Shortly after a track with an impressive person with a drum and a dazzling smile passed by.... Start of watering in front of Eitai Bridge (Chuo-ku) (Photo in the lower right: I'm sorry that it's hard to understand, but it's part of the watering. The water was rising quite high, and it was impressive even from afar! ) And "Wasshoi! "Wasshoi!" And a large number of people and portable shrine came near. It was found that the bridge was shaking due to the power of the people involved. Suddenly, I was able to enjoy the sense of realism and power that I thought, "Isn't I also participating in the festival?" This festival is held every three years, with the main festival, the main shrine festival, and the shadow festival, but this year is the year of the main shrine festival. At the main festival held in imperial procession, where Hachimangu Shrine's Ohorai is held during the Year of Children, Rabbits and Roosters. More than 120 towns, large and small, are carried by portable shrine, of which 54 large portable shrines are formed in imperial procession. The next event will be held in 2020! It seems to be very exciting because it is the year of the Olympic Games. At this festival, not only the imperial procession portable shrine, but also the performance and dance of musical instruments and famous watering. Various events will be held! Click here for the schedule of this year's Reisai Festival event (August 11 (Sat)-15 (Wed)). I will leave in August half a month....In Chuo-ku, many summer festivals are scheduled to be held. The remaining heat is still severe, but let's take care of heat stroke and enjoy the rest of the summer.

The festival of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine is also known as the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival, and is famous for its first time in portable shrine, and along with the traditional shouts of "Washyoi, Wasshoi", water is poured out from the crowd along the road, and it is also known as the "Water Festival".
The main festival, the head office festival, and the shadow festival are held every three years, and this year is the year of the head office festival.
The shrine parishioner Town Association carries the Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine "Ninomiya portable shrine" and walks through the shrine parishioner area (in Chuo-ku, Nihonbashihakozakicho-Minatobashi-Shinkawa-Eitai Bridge).
Ninomiya portable shrine was newly dedicated in 1997 and is said to use 2.5 carat diamonds in the eyes of the phoenix, weighing about 2 tons.
At each point, a lively water discharge from the fire hydrant to the fire hose is also seen, and the bearer and the crowd are united and excited.

This is the view of Minami Takahashi and the night view from "Kamejima River Green Road" introduced in this blog earlier.
Unlike daytime, the bridge is lit up, so the atmosphere changes completely.
Takahashi, which usually doesn't care about (rude) is also lit up in blue, and the blue shines on the surface of the Kamejima River and is beautiful.
On the other hand, Minami Takahashi is lit up in orange and feels soft.
It is Minami Takahashi because it is built south of Takahashi, but this bridge is a historic bridge that has been designated as a central ward Tangible Cultural Property.
Since the Ryogoku Bridge, which was bridged in 1905, was damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake, the central part of the three-linked truss bridge, which was less damaged, was reinforced and reused in Minami Takahashi.
Takahashi and Minami Takahashi, the cold and warm colors are reflected on the surface of the water, making a good contrast.
At night, the intense heat of the day is a little relieved, and you can feel the wind near the river, so summer walks are limited to night.
