◆Tourism Association Town Walking Tour 2011 begins ~ Cultural course, walk through Nihonbashi "Hundred Views of Edo" ~

[Akira Makibuchi / Sharakusai] July 5, 2011 08:30

Chuo-ku NewDiscover! Every year, a town walk tour organized by the popular tourist association has begun. This fiscal yearChuo-kuIn conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the Federation of Shopping Streets, it is divided into an “industrial course” that visits long-established stores and a “cultural course” that covers history and culture, and attractive courses are being prepared and applications are being accepted.

0913_312_110702nihonbashi.jpgThe first cultural course, a pioneer of this year's tour, was held on July 2nd (Sat). This is a course that walks through Nihonbashi depicted in Hiroshige Utagawa's masterpiece "Hundred Famous Views of Edo", and 12 participants gathered at Otohime's Square. Those who have been elected from a large number of applicants, including residents of the ward as well as participants from nearby prefectures.

At 1:30 pm, we leave here at Nihonbashi Fish Bank Ruins (pictured). In the Hundred Views, it is the neighborhood depicted in "Nihonbashi Yukiharu". Hundred views "Nihonbashi Edobashi" also depict the scenery east from this area. Cross Nihonbashi, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of the bridge, and head around Edobashi. "Shirakiya Meisui Ruins" is the area where the Shirakiya kimono shop used to be. The choledo Nihonbashi on Chuo-dori can be compared with the 100 views "Nihonbashi-dori 1-chome map".

If you go west along the former West Bank Street, you will hit Sotobori-dori St. To the north, there is Ichiishi Bridge over the Nihonbashi River. Hundred Views "Yatsumi no Hashi" is a view from here. Eight bridges including Zenbe Bridge and Dosan Bridge to the west, Gofuku Bridge and Kaji Bridge to the south, Nihonbashi / Edobashi to the east, Tokiwa Bridge to the north, and this Ichiishi Bridge to the north. Was called. Walk through the main building of the main building of the Bank of Japan and the main building of Mitsui Main Building, which is a national important cultural property, to Chuo-dori. The place overlooking the west from Edo Sakura-dori St. is the 100 views "Suga Tefu", or Surugacho, where the large store Mitsui Echigoya is thriving. At 3:00 p.m., it broke up in front of the planned Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store.

On this day, it was a town walk under a cloudy sky where the temperature exceeded 28 ° C and the sultry heat increased, but in Nihonbashi, the center of Edo, the 100 famous views of Edo drawn by Hiroshige in Kyobashi and Nakahashi. By comparing it with today's scene, I think you could have experienced the past and present of Nihonbashi. In this fiscal year, we will continue to guide cultural courses.Chuo-kuThe first volunteer guideChuo-kuThe Cultural Property Supporters Association is in charge. ●Akira Makibuchi

I wonder if the flow of Sumida on Tsukuda Island is appetizers

[Silver] July 5, 2011 08:30

As I walked on Tsukuda Island, I found Tsukuda-ya liquor store located in Tsukuda 1-chome, remembering my throat thirst.

CIMG8763.jpg

In the shop, I suddenly saw the sake "Tsukuda Island". It's a great discovery.

CIMG8762.jpg

If you buy it immediately and taste it at the storefront, it will be a little dry sake. It's pretty good.

Last year, we introduced Tsukishima Beer and Kachidokibashi Beer. http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/blog/2010/07/post-417.html

I also loved liquor with this local name.

This time, I thought that I would like to drink the eternal Sumida River with the slowly cooled "Tsukuda Island" in one hand, but

We don't recommend pertee in Germany. Please enjoy the flow of the Sumida River as an appetizer with everyone.

Postscript: I drank "Tsukuda Island" cooled at home, but Muito bom! Please try it too.

Saude! Silver

[Yurikamome] July 2, 2011 08:30

At the 10th bouquet festival, there was an exhibition corner on the first floor in addition to the presentation and experience corner.

Various corners answered our questions and let me study what I didn't know.

There were 14 booths, but some of them were taken in the photo.

"Briefing from experts ..." It's hard to know.

It was a very good opportunity to feel free to ask questions.

Shisui, a restaurant located in the evangelical hall of Tsukiji Honganji Temple, is used not only by worshiper but also by the general public in search of a quiet atmosphere.

Here's the lunch menu and price information in front of the entrance. If you are not satisfied with "Monzen soba" alone, do you recommend a set with a bowl? Okay, let's go with a set with Negitoro-don today.

CIMG8748.jpg

When I went inside, I was able to serve as a top restaurant. There was a restaurant in the back, wasn't it?

That's shineeven the steamed tea bowl. This is a great deal. The hot spring egg was also a treat.
