Chinese Zenbo "Reika" LAI-KA-Kenmi Fukuju's Yakuzen Chinese-

 Hot days continue. Just after the rainy season has just begun, the full-fledged heat is about to begin, but many people may have a little summer batter. How about a delicious and healthy "Yakuzen Chinese" for such people?


"Yakuzen" originally seemed to mean "serving decoction" in China, and "Chinese cuisine using Chinese herbal medicine ingredients like today. It is not that old that it was generally recognized as something born from the idea of the same source of medical food in China as a diet for maintaining health (Daiji Izumi) using the word "Yakuzen" It seems that "Hoshifuku" (Shinho), which opened in Ginza in 1985, is the first. The chef at this time was Chef Rei, the owner of this restaurant. Today, Reika is the third year since it moved to the 7th floor of the building at the Miharabashi intersection overlooking the renovated Kabukiza Theater.

Today's lunch medicinal course (3,150 yen)

The six dishes consist of 4 kinds of appetizers, medicinal soup, steamed tofu Yang sauce, shrimp rice paper fried (with avocado sauce), Chinese porridge, or Chinese soba, apricot tofu



"Medicinal Soup" is a chicken that is cooked over time with chicken, shiraki ears, octopus, jujube, and lily herbal medicine, and a winter melon containing plenty of this flavor will loosen in your mouth.



Steamed tofu with crabs are served with sauces derived from two types of Yin Yang and Yang five lines, spinach and crab eggs. It seems that a balanced combination of warm and cool things keeps the human body healthy.



The dessert is a soft almond tofu that has been popular since the Hoshifuku era. The two flavors of sesame and matcha are exquisite. I miss that I wanted to eat this almond tofu, which was unusual at the time, and went to Hoshifuku's lunch.



By the time I finished eating dessert, I feel happy as if I had a summer dullness. Indeed, the theme of Reika, "Kenmi Fukuju" (a happy dish with a smile involuntarily. Healthy food that makes you healthy and beautiful.



By the way, the word "medicine food source" associated with Chinese medicinal dishes is a coined by Dr. Hirohisa Arai in 1972, and it is said that China is now reimported and used by China. I recommend it for the full-fledged heat.

There is a familiarity with bonito flakes and mentsuyu, but the inside of the store has a lot of products and tension from the beginning.

I purchased "Ninben" Tsuyu's raw wet oysters. The texture was chewy and the taste of soy sauce was delicious, and it was full.
In addition, hand-rolled bonito introduced on TV was popular, and on this day it was out of stock and could not be purchased. I'm sorry.crying


"Eitaro Sohonho"

I have been familiar with the candy of "Eitarou Sohonho" since I was a child, and I especially like Umeboshi candy. I had a strong impression of candy.
I learned that "Kintsuba", which fills the stomach of people working on the fish shore of Edo Nihonbashi, began.

I bought a cool mizuyokan and Kuzusakura. It was delicious.

We were guided to a calm coffee room and received cold water sencha, hojicha (plastic bottle), seaweed crackers, and snack seaweed (2 types).


It was a hot day, so the mellow and refreshing water sencha was soaked. 


Nori rice crackers are luxuriously used, and the rice crackers were hidden by laver.
You want to eat rice crackers while enjoying the flavor of seaweed, so it's unique to Yamamotoyama.

Mercure Hotel Ginza ★1,000 yen lunch buffet

The air-lifted bread at the Melcule Hotel buffet is delicious.
I was told by a person at work, so I went there immediately.

There were many customers from foreign countries, and the staff also from foreign countries.
It looks like a hotel for tourists from overseas.

It is directly connected to Ginza 1-chome in Metro Yurakucho.
I'm glad you don't have to walk outside even on a hot day (* ^^ *)

Tsukiji Honganji Pipe Organ Lunchtime Concert

  The Pipe Organ Lunchtime Concert is held on the last Friday of every month at Tsukiji Honganji. I couldn't go during lunch break, but I went for the first time.
