Restaurant gallery "Kanazawa in Ginza" OPEN

1. Nov. 17, 2014 14:00

Following the OPEN of "Ishikawa Hyakumangoku Monogatari", on October 30th, Kanazawa antenna shop "Dining gallery Ginza Kanazawa" in Kanazawa City opened on the 6th floor of the Kirarito Ginza Building. It is a convenient location in front of Ginza Street Melsa and Exit 7 of Ginza 1-chome Station.

In addition to exhibiting and selling a wide range of craft works, from Kanazawa's traditional crafts, arts and crafts, as well as lifestyle crafts linked to the climate, it is a place to widely introduce Kanazawa's charm with restaurants and cafes that serve with seasonal ingredients from Kanazawa. . The gallery consists of "Box Gallery" (22 creators selected by open call for participants), "Wall Gallery" (10 representative artists), and "Planning Exhibition Gallery". I took a look at "Kanazawa Lacquer Craft Exhibition - Kaga Makie Leaders in Ginza".

The project is Mr. Nosaku, a lacquerware shop in Kanazawa. Nosaku is a long-established store dealing with Kaga lacquerware and Kanazawa lacquerware, founded in 1780 in the middle of the Edo period (1780). It is one of the shops that I always stop by when I go to Kanazawa. (I can't easily buy it.) This time, there are many lacquer products for the New Year, some of which are lacquered with champagne glasses, and some have a casual feeling that is perfect for Western-style tables such as simple congratulatory sake set.

I don't have to worry about seeing the price that seems to reach. It's until the 25th, so I think I'll have time to think slowly. Would you like to stop by to enjoy "Kanazawa in Ginza"? There is also a cafe.

Lighting ceremony at the end of the Christmas tree Mikimoto Jumbo Christmas tree

[Sam] Nov. 17, 2014 09:00

R0031109CLLS.JPGmikimotoC.jpg The 37th Ginza Mikimoto Honten Garden Plaza "Mikimoto Jumbo Christmas Tree", which has been the 37th this year since 1976, will be on November 15th.

The lighting ceremony has been popular for many years as an event that signals the arrival of the Christmas season in Ginza.

Mikimoto Honten will be closed on January 15, next year (scheduled for grand opening in the spring of 2017) to rebuild the building, which has been 40 years since its completion in 1974. Will be the last exhibition.

The height of the fir tree used in the tree is about 10m and the age of the tree is about 30 to 40 years.

At the base of the tree is an object that resembles a pearl necklace, and archived images of successive Christmas trees and Mikimoto head office from Meiji period to the present day are shown.

The theme of the illuminations of "Mikimoto Jumbo Christmas Tree", which will be watched, is "connecting".

Through the tree that has been connected to the city of Ginza as a winter tradition on Ginza Street, we express the connection between "now and the future" and "heart and heart". The illumination uses approximately 6,500 multicolor LED lights with original specifications that can freely express various colors.

During the exhibition period, you can enjoy the production where the illumination of the tree changes one after another according to the melody of "White Christmas".

After the exhibition, the fir trees will be donated to public facilities near Tokyo through public offerings.

At the lighting ceremony held at 16:15, the live performance of violinist NAOTO and the tree lighting with eight children from all over the world holding hands.

Lighting period: November 15-December 25

Lighting time: 11:00~22:00

It's Saturday, so a great person.
I did not start at 2:05 at the last minute, but put it at 2:25.
The waiting time is about 40 minutes.

The narration is Fumiya Fujii.
I miss it because I'm a checkers generation.
And in the third song, Anaser Orion
I enjoyed it with high-quality high-resolution sound source.
Since it was the front, the video was good, and the sound was great next to the speaker.★
It was a cushion seat, so take off your shoes and relax.
If the order was a little earlier, I could lie down in the cushion seat (laughs).

You can fully enjoy a trip to the moon for 15 minutes (* ^^*)

In the back alley of Hamacho

[Ryokichi] Nov. 12, 2014 09:00

This time, I think the store I will introduce will be the best information for those who like wine, especially Italian wine, and those who like procured ham and cheese.

IMG_7154.jpg

Vineria IL Passaggio is always secretly in the street behind Shin-ohashi-dori St., Hamacho 2-chome.

You can always drink nearly 10 bottles of wine in a glass. I'm glad that organic cultivation and specialty wine are served normally.

If you're lucky, you can meet one cup with a pretty premium feeling. All wines are served in good quality, well managed by the seller. The owner, Satake, is a connoisseur, so it's a good idea to ask various questions and get your favorite wine.

There are many possibilities for eating.

There are about 20 types of prosciutal ham and salami, and you will surely be able to meet something you have never met.

Cheese are all authentic.

In addition, shopkeepers trained at a number of Italian restaurants will prepare dishes with the special menu of each season.

IMG_5785.jpg

In addition, there is a lot of food. There are more than 30 kinds of bottles, mainly grappa, so you can choose any one by glass.

I usually start with a standard dish of appetizers, raw ham and salami, and ask for the recommended dishes at that time, and enjoy the wine as much as I can. And tighten it with pasta. A lot of after-meal sake (one cup) when you have enough power.

It is an irresistible shop for those who like alcohol.

Tour report of the 18th Chuo-ku Industrial Culture Exhibition (Navel Exhibition)

[Silver] Nov. 10, 2014 16:00

The 18th Chuo-ku Industrial Culture Exhibition (navel exhibition) was held for four days from November 2 to 5.

(Navel Exhibition) I wonder what it means, and when I look at the leaflet in the guide, I think

This year, "Gathering, interacting, and creating." Chuo-ku. Under the theme of ~ Chuo-ku 'Hatsu' Industry and Culture, we will introduce representative industries in the city, such as the printing and bookbinding industry, metal industry, and textile industry, together. (Omitted)

In other words, Chuo-ku, which has long developed as the center of Japanese culture, commerce and information, and in the center of Tokyo's 23 wards, in terms of human body, the center was named "navel". I thought it was.

Immediately after entering, there were Sukeroku and Agemaki costumes worn in Kabuki.

Ozu Washi, a trading company specializing in Japanese paper in the first year of the Shoo era (1653 AD), has experienced paper making at a shop in Nihonbashi. I hope that the registration of Washi with World Cultural Heritage will proceed.

Edoya, a long-established brushstroke company founded in 1718 (1718 AD), decided to purchase two of his favorite pig hair toothbrushes and buy hat brushes at the shop. I had an eco bag as a souvenir.

One of the most popular was the furoshiki corner.

My sisters taught me how to use furoshiki.

You can put it on the bottom of your bag and use it in case of emergency, and it is a furoshiki for carrying important shopping and wrapping and carrying broken objects. Also, there is a Japanese atmosphere. I wanted the children to remember it.

At the booths of the Tokyo Printing Industry Association Kyobashi and Nihonbashi branches, we were able to purchase postcards of Historic buildings and landscapes in Nihonbashi and Kyobashi.

This is what I thought was a great technology. Tsukishima Machinery's sewage sludge fuel conversion technology of Tsukishima Industrial Association. It's an environmentally friendly technology.

It is a super-large floating roof tank of Ishii Iron Works, which is used to store fuel for airplanes. The roof can move up and down according to the amount of fuel stock, preventing fuel from vaporizing or exploding.

The NPO Tokyo Chuo Net and the Tokyo Fire Department Rinko Fire Station were also exhibited for firefighting and rescue activities.

"A hospital? Ambulance? If you get lost, it's # 7119.

DSC06171 (300x169). jpgDSC06169 (300x169). jpg

In May this year, the cool dispatch scene of the Tokyo Fire Department Seaside Fire Station, which was shown at the Tokyo Minato Festival at Harumi Wharf, came to my eyes.

/archive/2014/05/66may-24th2014.html

Thank you very much

There were many other companies on display. (Please forgive me for being omitted.)

And the quiz rally was popular among children.

I wrote quizzes about Chuo-ku in four places on the answer sheet, and if I answered correctly, I got a prize.

We had lunch box this year. It's useful.

Well, it was time for lunch.

At the lunch and souvenir corner, famous stores in Chuo-ku, Meijiza, Ginza Wakamatsu, Tsukiji Tama Sushi, Uokyu, Kazuo Chuo-ku Confectionery Industry Cooperative, and Hatoya Nori Store were opened.

The "navel exhibition" is fun and study. Since it is held every other year, why don't you watch the "Navel Exhibition" again next year?
