Shitamachi Fun Crafts Museum

[Shiraji] June 30, 2015 09:00

Shitamachi Fun Crafts Museum is a traditional Japanese craft shop in Ningyocho!

On the first floor of the building on the right right after entering the road from Ipponzutengu Shrine in amazake Yokocho from Ningyocho-dori, you can easily see it.

The shop is full of items that make use of traditional Japanese craft techniques such as kimonos, obis, braids, and bags, as well as hair ornaments.

It is a shop that mainly focuses on recycled kimono and handmade crafts founded in 1994, but originally it was a kimono shop, and the eyes of seeing the goods are certainly recycled, but kimono made with real traditional techniques Although it is recycled, kimonos and obis are sold at a surprising price. Of course, there are also new products.

There are lots of kimonos. JPG

It's a shop with the thought that you don't want to break down the culture and skills of Japanese clothing somehow.

Recommended for those who are interested in Japanese clothing or want to wear kimono.
In addition, as souvenirs overseas, we also have small items such as Japanese accessories, Japanese decorations, and towels that can feel the elegance of Edo.

In even-numbered months, a free dressing class is held. (No matter how many times you participate, it seems to be free.)
In addition, in the "petit dressmaking classroom", you can learn simple "sleeve length", "sleeve straight", "semi collar", etc., and you can make your own original band etc. There are also classrooms such as twice a month).

Those who are interested in kimono! Why don't you take a look at it?

Minato Bridge

[pont] June 30, 2015 08:00

It is Minato Bridge over the Nihonbashi River.

F1000003.JPG

There was a large cherry tree at the foot of the bridge.

In April, the flowers bloom so beautiful that passers-by stops, but the flowers bloom.
There's nothing right now in June and I'm calm.
It's a typical Showa-style bridge.

F1000002.JPG

I usually walk across this bridge from Hakozaki to Kayabacho, so I go to Kayabacho.

It feels strange when you go down by boat from Nihonbashi.

There were many canals in Edo, which used to be a water transport town, but there were many canals.
What remains reclaimed is a small surface of the water flowing into the Sumida River.

It is a scenery that I want to keep carefully because there is nothing wrong with it.

Hanazono Hane Sky Tree is flowering

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] June 29, 2015 14:00

"Hanazono Hane Soraki" is read as "Hanazono abelia spathulata". It's the Japanese name of Aberia.

It is a plant belonging to the genus Asteraceae.

tukubane40.JPG

Aberia and Hanazono abelia spathulata have not penetrated so much that they know, but they are planted along parks and roads, so they are familiar flowers and trees that you know if you look at them.

tukubane10.jpg

This aberia is currently blooming at the planting space opposite Ginza Blossom under Miyoshi Bridge (red circle on the map).

Aberia continues to bloom except when the flowering season is long and the growth of branches in midsummer and midwinter stops.

It is also an honor student of a horticultural variety that is semi-evergreen but resistant to cold.

tukubane30.JPG

"Tsukubane" is a feather with a feather, but it is said that the five sepals spread like a propeller look like a feather with a feather.

On the other hand, it is said that playing with wings began when playing with the fruit of "Tsukubane" by hand.

The rainy season continues, but even when the rainy season is over and the hot summer comes, Hanazono abelia spathulata continues to bloom.

Closed at the end of June! Maxim de Paris Ginza

[Mapo ★] June 29, 2015 09:00

Maxim Dopari Ginza opened in 1966, recreating "Maximus" in Paris.

After moving to Tokyo, I wanted to go there at least once.
It was in 2010 that I visited on the birthday plan.
While being enchanted by the dining room in Art Nouveau
It was a blissful time to taste delicious food and wine.

Last year, we went to the lounge on the upper floor for lunch.
I'm really sorry because I didn't think it would go away.

It was around mid-May that I learned that the store was closed.
I tried to make a reservation right away, but there were fewer days when I was vacant.

Maxim's menu is traditional French cuisine.
Because it was lunch, it wasn't so heavy.
Recently, French cuisine that comes into Japan is also available.
Perhaps because of the influence of Japanese cuisine, it has changed to something lighter.

Also, in Ginza, the number of up-and-coming chef French restaurants is increasing steadily.
Meanwhile, Maxim seems to be a bit unsuitable for the times.
Maybe it's gone.

There are 4 types of lunch. I made it a concord of 6,000 yen (excluding SA and tax).

Amuses are made of fish mousse with untan.
The appetizer is a courie of parotine serpno, a horohoro chicken wrapped in foie grass.

RIMG1769.JPG RIMG1771.JPG

Today's soup is Visisoirs.
The main dish was Piare Barsamico sauce of Suzuki.

RIMG1772.JPG RIMG1774.JPG

I ate Suzuki at Maxim in Paris two years ago.
Japanese Suzuki was smaller and the taste was delicate (^^;

The lower left was mostly chosen by most people.
Blzeal veil sauce with a flat tongue.

RIMG1775.JPG RIMG1777.JPG

Avandesale is orange mousse. It was very nice.

RIMG1776.JPG RIMG1770b.JPG

And dessert is also nicknamed "Napoleon Pie".
A cake representing the popular Maxim Dopari Ginza♪

As it is the date of birth, a class person is contacting the store.
Appeared in such a wonderful decoration!

RIMG1778.JPG RIMG1779.JPG

It was a very good memory.

30 days will end with a 47-year history.

Napoleon pie is Ginza Sony Building until the 30th.
Daimaru Tokyo store, Haneda Airport Terminal 2 store,
It seems that you can buy it at Tobu Ikebukuro and Ecute Omiya.

View Tsukiji Market from Kachidokibashi

[Date-ya drunken 4th generation] June 28, 2015 18:00

katidoki.jpg

Tsukiji Market, in a sense, is also a place with a strong image of morning.

A crowd of busy middlemen, turley engine sounds, and lively people.

It's the hustle and bustle of the market.

But Tsukiji Market also has a night face.

A large truck that comes and goes. Firing steel piled up on the banks of the Sumida River.

The Tokyo Tower gently stares at it.

This scenery is also until this year. It will not be seen after the relocation next year.

By all means, before the relocation of Tsukiji Market, please take a look at Tsukiji Market at night from Kachidokibashi.

I think you can see the sleeping face of Tsukiji that you have never seen before.

We usually associate Tsukiji Fish Market with early morning.

Busy middle traders, engine noise of turret trucks and vibrant crowds

make up of the hustle and bustle of the market life.

Yet the night of Tsukiji Fish Market is also impressive.

Heavy trucks go and come.

Foamed plastics are piled up on the banks of Sumida River.

And the Tokyo Tower is gazing at all the scene tenderly.

The scene can only be seen by this year for the Market will be relocated the next year.

Welcome to visit here and enjoy the night scene of the Market before its relocation.

I believe you can see the sleepless Tsukiji that you've never seen before.

Tsukiji City Hall.

One of the people's thoughts is fast-growing regions.

 It's a busy business.

Carry-like voice.

A group of people in the morning.

It's a unique hustle and bustle of the city.

 Fuji, Tsukiji Ichiya is night-colored.

A traditional heavy-weight truck.

High-efficiency foam plasticizers on the banks of the Sumida River.

It's a perfect tower.

Keiya has just arrived this year.

After the next day, Tsukiji City Airport

It's completely empty.

Dear guest, how many surprises are you in Chikuchi City?

From the view of Nari, you can see the beautiful night color.

Strip spot [Ginza Mitsukoshi]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] June 28, 2015 14:00

On the Ginza Terrace on the 9th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi, "GINZA TANABATA strip spot-placing important people's thoughts on strips-" will be set up from the 24th, and anyone can freely write their wishes on strips and tie them to bamboo decorations I can do it.

tanab10.JPG

You can pray for the linked strips in grand shrine, Tokyo.

tanab20.JPG

The period is until July 7 (Tuesday).

tanab30.JPG

Even in Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, bamboo decorations are installed on each floor of the main building and new building, and it seems that you can decorate strips with wishes.

This prayer is Kanda Myojin.
