Let's know Sanada! The place where the Sanada Maru stage is Shinshu Ueda [Ginza NAGANO]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] March 9, 2016 09:00

At Ginza NAGANO, an antenna shop in Nagano Prefecture along Suzuran Street, Ginza 5-chome, we participated in "Let's Learn Sanada Maru", the stage of Shinshu Ueda, "Let's Learn Sanada Maru", "I will tell you about the history and seasons"

ginnaga03.JPG

"Sanada Maru" is NHK's Taiga drama series, which is currently being broadcast, but the main character, Nobushige Sanada (Komura) (lower photo, right) father, Masayuki Sanada (lower photo, left), built it in Shinshu Ueda Castle.

Ueda Castle is famous for the Battle of Ueda, which repelled the attack of the Tokugawa army twice in 1585 and 1600.

I participated in 30 minutes from 13:00 to 13:30 on March 5 (Sat).

ginnaga07.JPG

The history of the Sanada clan and events in Shinshu Ueda were explained in an easy-to-understand manner in the video.

ginnaga05.JPG

In addition, we were able to sample Ueda's specialty products and taste wine.

◆ Sumida River "Basho's Curve"

[Sumida Fireworks] March 8, 2016 16:00

The opposite bank of Kiyosu Bridge. The tall warehouse on the Koto-ku side was demolished and the sky became wider.

Depending on the location, you may be able to capture Kiyosu Bridge with the blue sky in the background. It looks like something will be built again, so now may be a chance.

s_hanabi32-1.jpg

I wonder if it's going to get warm soon.

During the winter, the Sumida River Terrace, which was difficult to turn, is finally a fun season.

This area is slightly upstream of Kiyosu Bridge. The flowers that color the Sumida River terrace seem to have not been able to wait for spring.

s_hanabi32-2.jpg

This kind of information board is often seen on the Sumida River Terrace.

Here, the river line is "curve". There is "Shinohashi" on the upstream side and "Kiyosu Bridge" on the downstream side, each of which spans the entrance of the curve.

s_hanabi32-3.jpgThe top of the curve is where Shinohashi, the third place in the Sumida River during the Edo period, was located. It seems to have been rebuilt many times, but until about 100 years ago, a wooden bridge, two generations before the current bridge, was built here.

s_hanabi32-4.jpg(The whole museum in Chuo-ku, 2015, the area where the former Shin-ohashi Bridge was built.)

The inside of the curve is on the Chuo-ku side, but there is a place downstream from Shinohashi in the Edo period, and it was called "Nakasu" or "Mitsumata".

s_hanabi32-5.jpg

On the other hand, the opposite bank of the Sumida River is the Fukagawa district of Koto-ku. When Shin-ohashi Bridge was built for the first time in the Edo period, that "Matsuo Basho" was crowded.

It is said that in 1680, when the Ryogoku Bridge was built for the first time in the wake of the great fire of the Meiryaku era, and when the flowers of common people began to open, Basho moved to this area where the Onagi River merged with the Sumida River.

s_hanabi32-6.jpg(Bashoan Historic Site Observation Park viewed from the Chuo-ku side)

The "outside of the curve" where Basho lived.

Now from this place, facing the Chuo-ku side and looking at the river ...

On the upstream side is Shinohashi, the orange main tower, and far beyond Ryogoku Bridge.

s_hanabi32-7.jpgOn the downstream side, there is a high main tower of the blue curve Kiyosu Bridge, and far beyond Chuo-ohashi Bridge.

s_hanabi32-8.jpgThanks to the curve, the outlook is very good. You can see far beyond the river.

What did Basho look at here? You must have seen farther away than it is now ...

The mountain in Ueno, where cherry blossoms bloom upstream.

The boats of white sails come and go along the way.

Downstream is Tsukuda Island and the moon floating in the sea.

White Fuji far beyond Nihonbashi.

In one view of 180 degrees, such a landscape created by the curve should have spread.

"Is the flower cloud bell Ueno or Asakusa?"

"At night around the famous moons and ponds,"

I don't know much about how Basho chose this place because I don't study hard, but in later years, Hokusai and Hiroshige will draw Mount Fuji over the current Chuo-ku, so I can imagine that it was a scenic place.

s_hanabi32-9.jpg

Basho also saw the Shin-ohashi Bridge being built. It is said that Basho was very pleased with the completion in 1694.

"On the first snow and over the bridge."

"Thank you, the frost of the bridge to step on."

A few years later, the Eitai Bridge will be built downstream. Fukagawa is in the process of development, and it may have been a place with fun dreams in the future.

The Chuo-ku side on the opposite bank was beyond Basho's gaze.

It must have been a special scenery where Basho could feel something. Now, when I stand on this place, I think there was such an era.

s_hanabi32-10.jpg

(The Basho statue overlooking the upper stream. In the evening, it automatically turns toward Kiyosu Bridge downstream. )

Around the former Shin-ohashi Bridge on the Chuo-ku side, there is a small park called Nakasu Park, which was built several years ago.

It's just a little up the stairs from the Sumida River Terrace, but the Koto-ku side on the opposite bank seen from this small place is not so tall.

It is quite pleasant to sit on a bench and look at the large sky and the boat traveling slowly along the curve.

s_hanabi32-11.jpg

Hiroshige left Shin-ohashi Bridge seen from the Chuo-ku side in the Edo period in the work called "Ohashi Atake no Yudate". If you just drew it, the Sky Tree might be in the picture.

s_hanabi32-12.jpg

This park also has cherry blossoms.

If you want to take a break on the Sumida River Terrace, sit on a bench and look at the "Basho curve".

"Chichidoki Shinkawa store" opens!

[TAKK...] March 8, 2016 14:00

On March 2, chicken dish chicken doki opened in Shinkawa, Chuo-ku.

001.jpg

It is a popular restaurant in Kachidoki, and chickens use "local poultry" from Chiba Prefecture, which is particular about freshness and taste.

004.jpg

There are plenty of seasonal vegetable dishes.

002.jpg

003.jpg

For sake, order "The raw undiluted sake of the brewery that only the brewer could taste" '9daizo'.

005.jpg

This liquor is sold directly from the storage tank for sake brewing at the liquor store "Sake Festival Kushirozo" opposite the shop.

Lunch looks delicious, so I'd like to go again.

Okamezakura is blooming

R0020693RSG.JPG Okamezakura of Nihonbashi Honmachi "Ajisai-dori St." is blooming.

Okamezakura is a hybrid of Mamezakura and Kanhizakura, and is a combination of pale red early blooming.

Among the cherry blossoms, the flowers are small, the tree shape is compact, and it is said to be suitable for planting small land.

I heard that it started with 26 trees at first, but now there are rows of cherry trees all the way to the border with Chiyoda-ku.

At the storefronts along the street, the seasonal colors create a taste.

Sakura seems to be especially suitable for a long-established Japanese restaurant.

In the Nihonbashi area, the annual spring event "Nihonbashi Cherry Blossom Festival" will be held again this year. (March 18-April 10)

The cherry blossom strips fluttering in the spring breeze during the day, and the "Nihonbashi Sakurabashi Sakura Bar" on Muromachi Naka-dori, where you can enjoy new installations with video and sound production at night, the "Nihonbashi Sakura Bus", "Sakura Hitokiriki", "Sakura Workshop", and "entertainment Cherry Blossom Treasure Hunting Cherry Blossoms" are also happy.

The cherry blossoms are also planned to be lit up at Mitsui Main Building, Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, Choledo Muromachi 1, Choledo Muromachi 3, YUITO, and YUITO ANNEX, and the Nihonbashi area will be dyed full of cherry blossoms during the period.

Charity "Acorn Badge" [Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] March 8, 2016 09:00

dong00.JPG

I purchased "Acorn Badge" at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

dong01.JPG

As Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd. celebrates its fifth year since Great East Japan Earthquake, since March 1 (Tuesday), a total of 28 Mitsukoshi Isetan Group Department Stores nationwide have been conducting a charity campaign to support reconstruction in East Japan.

dong03.JPG

This "acorn badge" is made by the people of Minamisanriku-cho using cedar trees in Minamisanriku-cho.

The design of the badge differs for each store, and what I bought was the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store version.

On my head is Nihonbashi with giboshi.

dong04.JPG

The entire amount of the proceeds will be donated to the Forest Great Wall Project (http://greatforestwall.com/), which will be used to create a forest that protects lives from disasters.

dong02.JPG

It is said that each store will end as soon as the "acorn badge" runs out.

Some shops already sold out (the photo above, where the red sticker was affixed)

The selling price is 300 yen (including tax and donation of 143 yen).
