Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom

[Sam] February 2, 2017 12:00

DSC_0932ELS''.jpg

Three Kawazu cherry blossoms planted in the tree-planting zone on the sunny northeast side of Chuo-ohashi Bridge on the Sumida River Terrace of Shinkawa Park bloom as soon as possible.

It is considered to be an interseed hybrid of Kanhizakura and oshima cherry, and its flower color is pink or light red, giving a strong impression of red petals compared to Yoshino cherry tree.

At the beginning of the cherry blossom season, usually in early February

DSC_0937RSG.jpgOne of the features is that it begins to bloom around the time, is in full bloom about a month later, and keeps its full bloom for a certain period of time.

When it blooms for 6 to 8 minutes, the flowers have momentum and are considered to be beautiful flowers.

The flowering time seems to be greatly affected by the weather of the year, and I hear that it is very difficult to predict flowering.

In addition, Kawazu cherry blossoms on the Sumida River Terrace can be fully enjoyed at night with the lights of the outside lights.

Tranquil scent of Japanese daffodil

[Sam] February 2, 2017 12:00

DSC_0929 (2)RRLS.jpg The weather is still cold, just before the spring.

At this time, the number of flowers in the Hamarikyu Onshi Garden is still limited, but one of the flowers that bloom dignifiedly under the clear and soft sunlight is narcissus (Nihon narcissus).

Narcissus is a perennial plant of the family Amaryllidaceae.

Usually simply saying narcissus, "Japanese narcissus"

DSC_0927RSG.jpgIt is often used as a general term for narcissus genus, including other species and horticultural varieties.

Japanese narcissus (Fusasaki water)

It is said to have been a variant of the Sen), which came from the Mediterranean region of origin through Silk Road and China, and became wild.

The leaves that grow from the root are flat linear.

The outer flower cover is white, and the cylindrical part called the side corolla in the middle is a yellow cup shape, and blooms in small circles.

It is characterized by a refreshing floral green scent in a clear, neat sweetness, and fragrance components such as Shinna Mick Aldehyde, benzyl alcohol, benzaldehyde, and oigenol have been reported.

Smooth and calm scent that wraps the cold of winter.

"Would you like to make your smell bag?" The 12th Fragrance Fair-Hatoido Ginza Main Store

1. February 2, 2017 09:00

100_2221.JPG

When I went shopping the other day, I was attracted to the "fragrance fair" printed on the receipt and came here.

Today's first day. In the gallery space on the third floor, various incense trees such as cathedral, sinking incense, sandalwood, and Shinnanban are displayed and sold, and it is written as "up to 5g per group". I remember when I used to go to a classroom in Kodo once. In the back, you can experience "Kingka", and in the "Creation of smell bags by yourself" corner. There are 12 types of cases, from familiar ingredients such as sandalwood, choko, and katsura skin to the first name such as Amamatsu and Daiume Ryu brain. There is a recipe and weighs the amount. It's like 7.0g sandalwood and 0.5g choko. "I've put it too much!" It's like a science experiment, everyone is happy. When it is finished, mix it all well and put it in the smell bag of your favorite color. It seems that you can do about 5 pieces with the finished 30g. I had my friend put 3 pieces in order to raise them for home use. You can put it in a closet or in a shoe box ...

The participation fee is free, but the smell bag is 500 yen per piece. It's a bit interesting to give it as a present with MY Special Blend. It's full this week.

"Scent Fair" will be held from 11:00 to 19:00 until February 5 (Sun).

Tachibana Inari Shrine (Ningyocho)

[Tachibana] February 1, 2017 18:00

I would like to introduce "Tachibana Inari Shrine" in Ningyocho 3-chome, where the name of "Tachibana" is the same as my blog name.

tachibana2.jpg

tachibana1.jpg

This area was where there was a 1,500 tsubo worship house given by the Shogun's family by Genya Okamoto, the third shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu's favorite doctor. A monument is still standing today.

gennya.jpg

Genji built a rented house in the place of worship and lent it to the common people.

It is a place where the concubine house of "Otomi-san" of Kabuki Kyogen "Yowanasuke Ukina Yokogushi" was set to have been located.

Hachiro Kasuga's hit song "Otomi-san" is also famous.

Tachibana Shrine moved from Gotenyama in Minato-ku to Edo Castle, and was further moved to Ningyocho with Genji. Currently, it is not owned by a specific individual or company, but is popular as Inari in the town.

Near the shrine, there is the Hamada Family, a restaurant that earned three stars when the Michelin Guide was first published in Tokyo. The current building is clean from the outside, but when I was a child, I remember being surrounded by blackboard walls.

Yoshihiro Mita, the owner of the Hamada family, is also the president of Meijiza, and your daughter is Yurika Mita, a Fuji TV announcer.

There is also Sanko Inari Shrine, which is said to have been born in Rat Kozo Jirokichi. This is just recently introduced on the blog on January 26, 2017, so please refer to the detailed explanation.

And there is a famous knife shop "Ubukeya".

ubuke.jpg

A long-established store founded in 1783, the name "Ubukeya" was named after the reputation that the blades hit by the first generation can be shaved even with "Ubumo".

In addition, there used to be "Ningyocho Suehiro" (closed in 1970).

At present, the building of the Yomiuri Information Service is built, but a stone monument of "Yoseki Ningyocho Suehiro Ruins" is embedded at the foot of the entrance.

This area is close to Horidome and a little far from the center of Ningyocho, but if you take a walk in Ningyocho, why not take a look at it?

"Wanwan Square" located near Shinohashi is now available!

[JRT Felt] February 1, 2017 16:00

Located near Shinohashi, which was closed for reinforcement work on the Sumida River Terrace.

"Wanwan Square" became available from Saturday, January 28!

DSC_0937.JPG

I thought it would be crowded on the first day, so I watched it on Sunday night.

Perhaps because it was just the end time on Sunday, what a chartered state!

Thumbnail image of DSC_0934.JPG

When I went on Monday night, 2-3 pairs came.

I'm glad that there is such a convenient facility in the middle of the city. As expected, Chuo-ku!

Depending on the time of day, it will be full of a large number of dogs and owners.

I have a dog and always want to take it to a dog run.

If you think it's a bit uneasy to suddenly enter a large number of people, etc.

It might be a good idea to make a debut in a vacant night.

The location is downstream of Shinohashi, and there are two dog runs.

I felt again that Chuo-ku is a livable ward in various aspects. I love it! Chuo-ku♪♪

In addition, when using "Wanwan Square", please follow the rules.
