Hana peach fruit [near Irifune Bridge]

Every spring, Hana Momo, which blooms beautiful red, white, and pink flowers near Irifune Bridge, has already been introduced in this blog, but after the flowers are over, I was very interested in passing nearby, but I did not see this tree with

The other day, when I passed nearby, I was surprised to see a lot of fruit larger than the plum fruit on the Hana peach tree.

Moreover, the color and shape are similar to peach (Hana Momodashi)

The site is the planting area on the south side of Tsukiji 2-chome, between Tsukijibashi and Irifunebashi, which was originally the Tsukiji River.

It was a big fruit beyond imagination, so as soon as I checked whether Hana peach fruit, which seems to have been made for ornamental use, can be eaten as a jam or something.

It's probably because it's a friend of peaches in the first place (although some varieties cannot be eaten)
