Cruising experience from the pier in Nihonbashi!

[JRT Felt] 18:00 on October 2, 2017

For those who passed the 9th Chuo-ku Tourism Certification held on September 23 (Saturday) in February this year

"Boat Transportation Guide Course" was held and participated in the Nihonbashi River and Kanda River edition.

Experience the cruising with a boating guide, and points to keep in mind in the boating sightseeing guide.

It's about learning.

On the day, I was cruising for an hour and a half from 14:00 to 15:30.

The departure point is the dock on the waterfall square in Nihonbashi.

Nihonbashi, which is over 100 years old, Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway, which is just over 50 years old, and two Legacy intersect.

The plan is Nihonbashi River → Sumida River → It was a course around the Kanda River.

The weather, waves, the height of the tide, etc. are good, so the captain's smart measures are taken.

We had you go around "Kamejima River" which rarely goes around.

If you go out to the Sumida River and go for a while, you can see the Sky Tree beautifully!

The captain stopped a little to make it easier to take pictures.

After that, from the Sumida River, go through Yanagibashi and enter the Kanda River, and return to the Nihonbashi River.

It was an hour and a half while listening to the wonderful guide.

The guide gives explanations backed by abundant and solid knowledge.

I really learned a lot.

This time, it was in the form of a boating guide training, but cruising is for anyone.

I thought it was something that you could enjoy.

When you come to Nihonbashi, please come and join us!

[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #16: Exciting Bookstore Aska Booksellers (Higashinihombashi)

[Dye] 12:00 on October 2, 2017

You've gotten a sign of autumn.
The application for the 10th Chuo-ku Tourism Certification also starts on Sunday, October 1!

This time, I would like to introduce a wonderful bookstore that triggered me to take the sightseeing test.
It is "Asuka Booksellers" located in Higashinihombashi.

s46_01.jpg

It is located just outside the B3 exit of Higashi Nihonbashi Station on the Toei Asakusa Line.
It's open from early morning till late at night.

Since this neighborhood is an apparel wholesale district, there are plenty of books and magazines related to fashion, as well as a lot of cute and fashionable miscellaneous goods.

One of my pleasures is to look at books and miscellaneous goods at Asuka Booksellers and buy your favorite tea that is only sold here, but especially when I was just after birth, I couldn't go out much and it was fun. I often came when I walked because there were few things.

If you think about it, at that time, there is a poster and text of the tourist association in the store, and immediately buy it that it looks interesting....I was lucky enough to become a correspondent. The beginning is here ^^

s46_06.jpg

This year's text was also lined up in the store.

s46_03.jpg s46_04.jpg

A number of miscellaneous goods other than books. There's even more, including stationery.
Because it has a good taste, it is perfect for a small present to a friend (' ▽ `*)

I would like to order books that are not in the store, and book covers are also fashionable, so I try to buy books here as much as possible.
From May, coffee and cocoa can also be taken out.

s46_05.jpg

Book cover with a dot pattern. You can choose the color.☆

What is great for children is that there are plenty of picture books, sweets and toys.
Recently, there is also a large plarail.

s46_07.jpg s46_08b.jpg

Nailing...(laughs)

Chibi in my home loves Anpanman very much, so every time I pass in front of the bookstore, "Oh! !!" I'm rushing up with this!?"... And it's hard to return! (^^;)
I'm very grateful to sell Anpanman Bathball too.

A bookstore where both adults and children are excited.
I can't introduce you, but there are many things like treasure chests.

Please go to see what you have.

◆ Autumn in the Sumida River Pocket

[Sumida Fireworks] 10:00 on October 2, 2017

Last afternoon, I finished an errand in Fukagawa on the afternoon of the 23rd and walked on the terrace of the Sumida River after a long absence. The rain until the day before has risen, and clouds still remain, but it is gradually clearing. It was a good climate for walking around.

On the Sumida River Terrace near Ryogoku Bridge, the flowers are blooming and entertain the eyes of people walking on the terrace.

s_hanabi51-1.jpg

From here, go a little downstream and stop by "Hamacho Park" adjacent to the Sumida River.

At the baseball stadium, boys follow the white ball, and parents cheer through the fence. Such scenes can be seen, and it seems that it has become a refreshing season to enjoy sports.

s_hanabi51-2.jpgThe leaves of the trees in the park seemed to be a little colored, but is it because of it? I think it will be beautiful when autumn deepens. It is a park that I would like to visit again at that time.

When I returned to the Sumida River Terrace, I saw Shinohashi downstream. I looked back because many people waved their hands from a sightseeing boat floating on the river. In this season, it seems fun to go around the Sumida River by boat.

s_hanabi51-3.jpg

After passing the orange of Shinohashi, you will see the statue of Matsuo Basho staring at it and the Mannen Bridge on the Onagi River on the opposite bank.

And it was around Kiyosu Bridge that bloomed a lot of flowers. The blue finally appeared in the sky here, so I stayed a little longer.

s_hanabi51-4.jpg

To the Eitai Bridge, you pass many times with the jogging person. Some people read books or talk about them. The charm of the Sumida River Terrace is that you can spend time each person.

A sightseeing boat is about to go under the Eitai Bridge. There are many ships passing through the Sumida River, but today there are a type of sightseeing boat that can stand on the boat.

s_hanabi51-5.jpg

The Eitai Bridge, which is particularly narrow between the bridge girder and the surface of the water. It's a thrilling moment.

Enjoy the view of modern condominiums in River City in Tsukuda and cross the white Chuo-ohashi Bridge toward Tsukuda.

The statue of Messenger stands on the pier of Chuo-ohashi Bridge. The small monster occupying Jim here is a bird.

In the Messenger statue, there is a Pokemon gym. It's the story of the game.

s_hanabi51-6.jpg

A smartphone game called "Pokemon GO" released last summer.

The other day, when I reinstalled it for the first time in a year, I was surprised that it has changed in various ways. I can't keep up with you anymore.

However, recently, it seems that a function called "gym batch" has been added, and even if you can't catch or fight Pokemon, it's changed so that you can get something called "gym batch" just by getting close to the gym.

This batch differs from gym to gym, and if you get it while traveling, it will prove that you have visited it, so it will be a little memorial.

How to enjoy it depends on the idea. For example, if you are a castle lover, you may be able to enjoy collecting a batch of Pokemon gyms that will be in famous castles nationwide. You can also display the number of gyms you visit on the world map, so if you like traveling abroad, there may be a different way to enjoy it again.

Speaking of the landmark of the Sumida River, is it a bridge? Today, I tried to get a gym batch of Shinohashi, Kiyosubashi, Eitai Bridge, and Chuo-ohashi Bridge to collect even the bridge gym batch.

After crossing Chuo-ohashi Bridge, I came to Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, despite being tempted to stroll through Tsukuda Island. When you come here, the tall St. Luke's Tower on the opposite bank is tall, so you just look up at the sky.

Today was the Autumn Equinox Day, wasn't it? I didn't care much about it. It's a little bit, but I feel like I was able to find autumn.

Clouds still remain, but "I hope it will be fine tomorrow." Maybe it's fine autumn tomorrow.

Tanizaki Walk through “Kids” (3)

[CAM] 16:00 on October 1, 2017

Anger

On a sunny day she took me back and took me to the fairs of people. I went to Kiyomasa, which is closest to Hamacho's house, Suitengu in Ningyocho, Great Kannon, Kobo Daishi in prison Hara, and sometimes Jizo on the west coast across Nihonbashi Street. Above all, Great Kannon was in the same town as the live print shop, so it was the most familiar since I was not stubborn. I don't know he's now turned into something, but in the past it was a little bit in the main street, and on both sides of the inner stone road, there were toy shops like a small Nakamise of Asakusa, so I always passed in front of it and returned home with some toys. (50)

When the weather was fine, Granny often carried me piggyback to various temple fairs and markets - to the Seisho-ko, which was closest to our house in Hama-cho; to the Suitengu in Ningyo-cho; to the O-Kannon, and the Kobo Daishi Temple in Royanohara; and sometimes as far as the Nishigashi Jizo beyond Nihombashi Avenue. Of them all I felt most at home at the O-Kannnon, since it was right in our neighborhood. I have no idea what it looks like now; but it used to be set back a bit from the street, and numerous toy shops lined both sides of the flagstoned path that led to the Main Hall - like a smaller version of the celebrated Nakamise arcade in front of the Asakusa Kannnon Temple.
