Matsuya Ginza begins "Shizuka Kusano Exhibition-The Melody of Glittering Silk threads-"

1. December 31, 2017 12:00

100_2579.JPG

2017 is another three days, it's a frightening time, but the entrance to the "Kusano Shizuka Exhibition", which started yesterday, is amazing people and people. It's completely out of expectation that you will be able to see it slowly at this end of the year, but I'm glad to be one of the fans. As a Japanese embroidery artist, Shizuka Kusano is actively involved in the spread of Japanese embroidery not only through solo exhibitions in Japan but also overseas through exhibitions and workshops. In this exhibition, when I borrowed the words of the person himself, "I tried to express the patterns expressed by Japanese people by embroidery. Starting with the embroidery Buddha, embroidery as a clothing culture, and embroidery as today's art are exhibited with about 200 works. "

What is eye-catching at the venue is Ecaterina with the theme of "wearing in the heart", kimono for 13 women who have a history of Marie Antoinette, Yodo-kun, Masako Hojo, Murasaki Shikibu, etc. It is certainly a work that makes you feel like this. What I was interested in was "110 traditional Japanese patterns". An ancient Japanese pattern is "made using Japanese embroidery techniques. Some of them are well known, such as Aominami, Kikuhanabishi, and Sayagata, but there are many things that do not study and do not match the name and pattern, such as basket eyes, cloud dragons, and one scale.

There are many things that you can only see in printed matter, so when you see all 110 items are manufactured and displayed using embroidery techniques, you are amazed at the fashionable design and color. The pattern itself has been around for more than 1000 years, but it still seems really amazing to give such a fresh impression even now.

As a special exhibition, "Holiday / New Year Ginza's" Wa " Tour Map" is being held at Ginza 1-chome to 8-chome shops at the same time as the exhibition. You can enjoy benefits at the store with the ticket stub of the exhibition (maps will be distributed at the venue)

This exhibition is perfect for thinking about Japanese culture in the New Year.

"Shizuka Kusano Exhibition" until January 15

Matsuya Ginza 8th floor Event Square from 10:00 to 20:00 (closed at 17:00 on the last day)

Admission fee 1,000 yen

From the New Year to the New Year! Nihonbashi Kobunamachi

[Dharma] December 31, 2017 09:00

Crossing Showa-dori from the Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store toward the Horidome Intersection ... Nihonbashi "Kobunacho" envelops history in newness. It is said that during the Edo and Meiji eras, it was a town where textile wholesalers, fan wholesalers, and bonito wholesalers were crowded along the Higashiboriru River, which entered the Nihonbashi River. As an aside, there is a dedicated Japanese lantern Dai Japanese lantern from Kobuna Town in Asakusa Hozomon....Now it is Kofune-cho, where new buildings of long-established companies and leading companies are lined up. Restaurants and hotels are also available, making it beautiful. The main street has been unnamed for a long time, but it is said that naming is being considered. On the left and right of this street, the [Ogura Building] and [Nagase Sangyo Building], which have been rebuilt into a solid building, stand out.

Decorating the new year! It is a long-established appearance in Kofune-cho.

[Ibasen] It is a fan, fan shop with a history of more than 400 years. The interior of the store is full of ukiyo-e products. I bought a cute decorative fan with a dog pattern.

[Takashima Family] It is a "eel specialty store" founded in 1875. I was impressed by the taste of protecting for more than 140 years and the hospitality of the young landlord.

[Higetsudo] Founded in 1877, it preserves long-established flavors such as "Kamisei confectionery", "Kuridorayaki", "Kiriyamasho", "kagami mochi" and "Red and White Manju".

 [Kobunacho Yakumo Shrine Tenno Festival]

In September 2018, the festival will be held once every four years.

Kobunacho. jpg

Kobunamachi Yakumo Shrine is one of the auxiliary shrine located on the grounds of Kanda Myojin.

It was in the early Edo period that Kofune-cho began to implement festivals.

During the festival, Kariya will be built in Horidome Children's Park and portable shrine will be built in imperial procession.

Photograph of carrying of miniature shrines, which seems to be before the war (the fine figure of his late father?) That's right.⇒⇒⇒⇒

The Tenno Festival is a rough portable shrine festival by the common people, and it is said that only Kofune-cho now inherits the festival.

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] December 30, 2017 16:00

mtmr001.JPG

The Chuo Ward Environmental Information Center is located on the 6th floor of Tokyo Square Garden in Kyobashi 3-chome.

mtmr002.JPG

Here, "Exhibition to Look at the Earth" was being held.

"It was being held" because I visited on the last day of the 26th (Tuesday).

mtmr003.JPG

This month is said to be the Global Warming Prevention Month, and photos and videos of regions and creatures around the world, which are said to be affected by global warming, were introduced.

mtmr004.JPG

As we live on the earth, we were faced with the fact that global warming has progressed, affecting the natural phenomena of the earth and creatures on the earth.

It was an exhibition that made me think about what each of us could do.

mtmr005.JPG

At the Environmental Information Center, lectures and lectures to expand interest in environmental issues and the circle of environmental activities, hands-on workshops where you can learn about the environment while having fun, as well as planned exhibitions and activities by registered environmental activities. Kurufuku-Nihonbashi

[Asunaro] December 30, 2017 16:00

When you go to souvenir shops, various beckoning cats
You can see it.

Shop. jpg

If you look closely, you can see the rising hand (front leg?) But
It's the right hand or the left hand.
It seems to have a meaning.

The right hand invites money.
The left hand invites people.
In both hands, both money luck and a thousand customers who invite people
It is said that there is a great deal.

And the higher the hand you raise, the more you invite the distant fortune.

Sanko Inari. jpg

Nihonbashi has been famous as a "Prayer for lost cats" since the Edo period.
There are many beckoning cats at the shrine as a thank you for fulfilling your wish.
I have it.

Beckoning cats have been loved by many Japanese since ancient times.
I hear that it is becoming more popular overseas.
You are still alive even in the year of the dog.

Fuyusobi (Winter Rose) [Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] December 30, 2017 09:00

fuyuso001.JPG

Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park has many kinds of roses planted so that it can be called a rose garden, and when it comes to flowering, colorful flowers bloom and I introduced it on this blog in May of this year I was allowed to do it.

fuyuso002.JPG

On December 27, despite remontant flowering, roses are blooming well in this cold weather.

fuyuso003.JPG

I learned that roses blooming in winter are called "Fuyusobi" (winter seasonal language) and "Winter rose" was written at the end of the first song of "Gunsei" written and composed by Shinji Tanimura. I remember that it was when this word came out.

fuyuso004.JPG

Indeed, "Gunsei" was the theme song of the movie called "Union Fleet".

In the play, I remember that this "Gunsei" was used very effectively

fuyuso005.JPG

Light purple scatters when broken

A single flower that blooms in Nobe

Is ephemeral like flowers the life of a person?

At least scattered in the sea

At least the winter rose that blooms in the sea and has a hearty winter rose.

(Lyrics and composed by Shinji Tanimura "Gunsei")

fuyuso006.JPG

By the way, on the day, the temperature around Chuo-ku was about 5 degrees lower than the previous day.

It's the New Year in a few days.
