200 years after his death, the daimyo tea master Fumai Matsudaira-The Beauty Eyes of the Lord" Mitsui Memorial Museum

1. April 28, 2018 14:00

100_2740.JPG

This year, 200 years after Matsue feudal lord Fumai Matsudaira (1751-1818), famous as a daimyo tea master, died, it seems that there are plenty of plans for the “Fumai 200th Anniversary Festival” in Matsue City, but also in Tokyo, the Mitsui Museum and Hatakeyama Memorial Museum, which holds many works of art from unmai and unmai. "Unmai collects many masterpieces such as calligraphy, specialty tools, and furnishings, and today many are designated as national treasures and heavy sentences. This time, we will introduce a number of masterpieces that Fumai loved, as well as handwritten calligraphy that shows unmaids, and vessels that you like to make. "(Exhibition Pamph). Of course, it is wonderful to collect masterpieces, but what is even more amazing is `` Yunshu Kura Book '' which describes his collection and `` Kokin specialty '' that empirically describes specialty mainly tea utensils such as tea bowls and tea bowls along with illustrations. It is that I wrote 18 volumes. Items and names such as Chuko specialties, daimyo products, and specialties that are still used today are determined by this book. What I wanted to see was the national treasure "Oido Chawan / Kizaemon Ido" and the Shigebun "Akaraku Chawan / Koetsu Kaga", but in the tea room built in the museum (the national treasure tea room "Nyoan") A copy of the unmayed book "Excitation" was hung, and the red music bowl "Unitemono" was set up, and it was too wonderful. It is famous for the "slave book" that was good at, but this "word" is a line typeface, but the balance between Osako power and margins is wonderful. (I feel like I'm getting angry at the mischief. I want it.

At the end of the exhibition, "Unmaid as a producer", and here there are tools that reflect one's aesthetic sense created by painters, Yoyusai Hara and Kojima Urushibosai. They are tools that can only be said to be fashionable and hobby good. His praise, "The world is fine, square, peaceful, and not open like tofu," is also exhibited on a well-known tofu-drawn kakemono. He retired from feudal lord at the age of 53 and built a tea garden with 11 tea rooms in the Matsudaira residence in Osaki, Shinagawa. I'm jealous of you.

What happened to this tea garden is that it was confiscated by the Shogunate, where security off Shinagawa was urgently needed due to the arrival of Kurofune, and the trace disappeared. The grave has been moved from Shiba and Tentokuji to Gokokuji after the Great Kanto Earthquake. (I've been here during this time.)

Ningyocho Sugimori Shrine, Reitaisai festival once every three years! We are recruiting portable shrine bearers.

[Shiba Inu] April 28, 2018 09:00

Sugimori Shrine, which has been around for nearly 1000 years since its foundation, is also known as Edo Mimori (Sugimori, Yanagimori, Kasumori) and Edo Mitomi (Sugimori, Yushima, Taninaka Tennoji). I'm familiar with Betara City. As the Seven Lucky Gods of Nihonbashi, it is worshiped as a spiritual experience in the lottery. This year, the annual festival will be held once every three years at Sugimori Shrine. It was the last Reitaisai festival in Heisei, and there is also a large carrying of miniature shrines.

What is the schedule?

Thursday, May 17
Evening Palace

18th (Fri) Headquarters carrying of miniature shrines

19th (Sat) Children carrying of miniature shrines Children fair

It's a coincidence.

We are currently looking for help with festivals and portable shrine bearers. Regardless of gender and age, those who are not neighborhood associations and those who live far away can apply! You can also use the neighborhood association's half-wearing and shower after the festival. For more information, look here. It is on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you are interested, please contact us as soon as possible.

Sugimori Shrine is
located in Horidome-cho, between Ningyocho and Kodemmacho. This used to be the cornerstone of Horiwari, the cornerstone of Edo logistics. There are still many narrow and hollow roads that remain today. It is often not noticed because it does not face the main street, but it is a quiet place where the Edo atmosphere and Showa atmosphere remain. There are plenty of good points of shrines in areas that are not tourist destinations.

Shrines with many narrow roads...So it's a shooting spot! You can take a picture of a mysterious shrine in the background of a big city. There are many cheap and delicious shops in fair today. I think you can enjoy it all day while brushing around Ningyocho.

Please come and visit Chuo-ku, where the early summer is finally coming and the festival season begins.

Performed by Kanze, Hosho, and Kongo Sankei, "Old Song First Ceremony" is performed-Kanze Noh Theater 1st Anniversary Commemorative

1. April 27, 2018 12:00

100_2732.JPG 100_2734.JPG

As a special performance commemorating the 620th anniversary of the opening of the Kanze Noh Theater and the 620th anniversary of the birth of Onami, the "first ceremony of old songs", which is rarely performed today, was performed on April 25. The first ceremony of the shogunate is the official event of the Shogunate, which was held every year at the Edo Castle Honmaru great hall under the Shogun, Misanke, and various daimyo line during the New Year of the Edo period. After reading this description a few years ago, I thought I would like to see it somehow. "At the beginning of the song on the 3rd of New Year's Day, various daimyo climbed the castle, offered Shimadai, and in return, the general himself gave a cup to the daimyo. In the meantime, Noh's Yoza and first-class Tayu songs are performed, and when it is over, Kanze Tayu worships the shoulder clothes that the Shogun has removed as a tradition since the Muromachi Shogunate, and then various daimyo imitated the Shogun and took off the shoulder clothes to the spot. After all, those shoulder robes were handed over to Kanze Tayu, but the daimyo sent messengers to Kanze Tayu's house the next day, rewarded and collected the shoulder robes. " ("Edo Hakuran Keiki")

Since the project was announced, I couldn't understand the details and I contacted several times, so I really enjoyed it today. When I took a picture at the entrance and completed the reception, I was impressed by the "first anniversary commemorative gift of the opening". The face of a theater critic who is full of driftwood and appears in the media in the front is also here. According to the explanation after the performance, it will be performed in the form of "When the first song was revived in 1880", so it is more compact than those of the Edo period.

It's started. At first, Kanze Daio, Hosho Daio, and Kongo Daio appeared in the formal dress of samurai crow hats and kimonos, and three local songs from each school continued, and the players appeared where they were seated. This time, Mr. Shichizaemon Mogi, President of the Japan Arts and Culture Promotion Association, will work. All of them are Hirabushi, and the player speaks to Kanze Daio and says, "I don't want." "Shikainami" started with no hair, and when it was over, the musicians appeared. It is "Oimatsu", "Tohoku" and "Takasago" by the three major husbands (playing without dance with shite and local songs and music). These three songs are said to be the first stage of the song. When the performance is over, it is "Jifuku worship". The lining is red with a white cotton case. At this time, the three major husbands dance the next "Yumiya Tateai" by layering the clothes on the kimono. This is said to be due to the history of Ieyasu Tokugawa, who fled to Hamamatsu Castle due to the great defeat of Mikataga Hara, rejoicing that the enemy Takeda army returned and letting Kanze Daio dance for a while. At the end of "Yumiya Tateai", the player gives a shoulder robe to Kanze Daio, and the player also takes off and throws his shoulder robe. It seems that it was customary to get money when I asked the daimyo family to return the shoulder robe at a later date. Later, according to the explanation of the Kanze sect, near the end of the Tokugawa period, each daimyo family was also told to "Please take it home" due to financial difficulties, and the Kanze family has three shoulders with the daimyo family crest. It seems that there is. After that, the Onami Symposium entitled "Samurai rituals and Noh" was held at Kokugakuin Professor Kenichi Futaki, Professor Shinpei Matsuoka of the University of Tokyo, and the Kanze sect. (Onami is the third generation of the Kanze style.) At that time, I heard that the kimono worn by the Kanze sect was worshiped by the second shogun, Hidetada. It is hard to see the stage where the third-class sect is together. It was a great day.
