At the gallery "Gallery Salon TACT" in Ginza 5-chome, Shono Yamanaka's solo exhibition "Cats Colored with Pastel & ... Fresh and Light" is being held.
It seems that this is the third time that this gallery salon has been held.
The location is on the 5th floor of the New Central Building, which faces the intersection of Miyuki-dori and Azuma-dori next to GINZA SIX.
The event will be held from Thursday, April 19 to 25 (Wed).
The time is from 11:00 to 19:00, but the last day is until 17:00.
There will be no rest during the exhibition.
I visited at noon, but many people were at the venue and were eagerly appreciating the work.
In the case of pastel paintings, not only works with a pale and soft feeling (just pastel style), but also sharp and detailed works were exhibited, and I was impressed by the depth and breadth of Yamanaka's techniques.
The eyes of the cat in the vividly colored "eye series" are so scary that the transparency and moisture of the eyes themselves are captured.
This time, about 30 items, including new works, are on display.
There is also a sales corner for postcards, single-stroke notes and calendars.
Yamanaka's next solo exhibition is scheduled to be held from July 16th (Mon) to 21st (Sat) at St. Luke's First Gallery.
It seems that this will be the 32nd event.
Mr. Yamanaka agreed with the photography in the gallery, and Mr. Yamanaka gave a polite explanation of the work directly from the person himself.
Thank you for your explanation of "Sapputsu".
