Flowering of dogwood [Kinbikicho, Matsuya-dori]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 22, 2018 14:00

hanam201810.JPG

I wrote in the article about the flowering of "Hitotsubatago" on Miyuki Street, which I introduced the other day, but this year, the flowering time is quite different even for the same kind of flowering trees, probably because the weather was irregular from winter to early spring. I feel like

hanam201801.JPG

It's dogwood on Kibikicho Street.

hanam201802.JPG

Even if you say Kibikicho Street, it is dogwood on the street beside Kabukiza Theater.

hanam201803.JPG

The white and pink of dogwood shine in the clear May sky, right?

hanam201809.JPG

This is the blooming dogwood on Matsuya Street.

hanam201805.JPG

The dogwood on Matsuya Street has branches on the side, so the whole street becomes gorgeous when full bloom.

hanam201806.JPG

The flower of dogwood is not the so-called petals, but the leaf called bracts, and the center mass is the real flower (inflorescence).

hanam201807.JPG

As for the actual flowers, inconspicuous flowers with a diameter of about 5mm with a diameter of 4 petals gather and bloom sequentially.

Ginza Hanaki Miyuki Street's refreshing flower one basket

[Silver] April 22, 2018 12:00

After the middle of April, white neat and refreshing flowers, "Onebatago", commonly known as "Nanja Monja", began to bloom on Miyuki Street in Ginza.

The photo was taken at the intersection where the sun shines from Sotobori-dori St. to Ginza Six.

Because there are individual differences, not all are blooming. When going out for shopping or eating, if you can look at the plants for a little bit.

A neat flower may return a smile.

Please enjoy the flower calendar of Ginza, "Ichibago".

Cat Pastel Painting Exhibition [Shonoro Yamanaka's solo exhibition]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 22, 2018 12:00

yaman201801.JPG

At the gallery "Gallery Salon TACT" in Ginza 5-chome, Shono Yamanaka's solo exhibition "Cats Colored with Pastel & ... Fresh and Light" is being held.

It seems that this is the third time that this gallery salon has been held.

yaman201802.JPG

The location is on the 5th floor of the New Central Building, which faces the intersection of Miyuki-dori and Azuma-dori next to GINZA SIX.

yaman201803.JPG

The event will be held from Thursday, April 19 to 25 (Wed).

The time is from 11:00 to 19:00, but the last day is until 17:00.

There will be no rest during the exhibition.

yaman201804.JPG

I visited at noon, but many people were at the venue and were eagerly appreciating the work.

yaman201805.JPG

In the case of pastel paintings, not only works with a pale and soft feeling (just pastel style), but also sharp and detailed works were exhibited, and I was impressed by the depth and breadth of Yamanaka's techniques.

yaman201806.JPG

The eyes of the cat in the vividly colored "eye series" are so scary that the transparency and moisture of the eyes themselves are captured.

yaman201809.JPG

This time, about 30 items, including new works, are on display.

yaman201807.JPG

There is also a sales corner for postcards, single-stroke notes and calendars.

yaman201808.JPG

Yamanaka's next solo exhibition is scheduled to be held from July 16th (Mon) to 21st (Sat) at St. Luke's First Gallery.

It seems that this will be the 32nd event.

yaman201811.JPG

Mr. Yamanaka agreed with the photography in the gallery, and Mr. Yamanaka gave a polite explanation of the work directly from the person himself.

Thank you for your explanation of "Sapputsu".

Taste for seasonal taste @BAGUS PLACE / Hagendatz Teabour

[Hanes] April 22, 2018 09:00

This spring, I saw tourists from overseas for cherry blossoms.
One of the charms of Japan is Hanes, a new correspondent who reaffirmed that the season is the season.

"Is it possible to eat cherry blossoms?" When asked, "What kind of taste do you like?"
I couldn't express it in words, and I have sent a parcel of cherry blossoms, including salted cherry blossoms and cherry candy.
If you think about it again, cherry blossoms and food may not be so connected to Japanese people.
When I was thinking about such a thing, I heard that there was a shop where you could enjoy "Sakura Lunch Buffet", and I went there immediately.

The location is BAGUS PLACE, located on the first basement floor of the Ginza Velvia Building.
This store is a chain store that operates nationwide.
The concept is to provide entertainment for adults.
It is a chic space that is unparalleled in Ginza, an adult town.
The best recommendation here is a buffet-style lunch offered at a surprising price that makes you think "Is it really Ginza?"

1,000 yen (weekdays) 1 person excluding tax
1,250 yen (Saturday Sunday holiday) 1 person excluding tax
※300 yen discount for elementary school students / 600 yen discount for infants / free under 4 years old
It is a price that is easy for children, and it can be used by families!

And what do you do?...There is no time limit.
You can enjoy your meal without worrying about time and bloom in the story.

In addition to the full-year menu, I used canola flower, spring bamboo shoots, cherry shrimp, cherry blossoms and strawberries.
We have a wide selection of menus that allow you to feel spring with your eyes and tongue.
I just wanted to eat that and this too.

In addition, food during the holiday season, such as Inari Sushi, and so on.
There were also coffee and tea that were perfect after the meal.
In addition, two kinds of apple vinegar (normal, rose hip & cassis) that are good for women who care about beauty are also offered in fashionable jers.

Recent research has revealed that it has high nutritional value and antioxidant effects.
Apple polyphenolApple
It may be easy to drink, and it is also recommended for men who care about their health!

Unfortunately, "Sakura Lunch Buffet" ended on the 15th, but it ended on the 15th.
It is said that a new buffet will begin in May.
Details will be announced on the website as soon as they are decided!

The best time to see the cherry blossoms has passed, but on the other hand, the new tea season is coming soon.
You can enjoy tea time ahead of the season.
This season's recommended spot Häagen-Dazs tea room will be available for a limited time until May 6th.
Opened in "Sukiyabashi Chabo" on the 6th floor of Tokyu Plaza Ginza.

Here, not only creative Japanese sweets using Hergendats ice cream, but also Japanese sweets.
It was developed by a French sommelier to match this menu.
It seems that you can also enjoy Japanese tea with original flavors.

IMG_20180420_064024.jpg

Potato, wormwood, and kinkan are rare for Japanese people.
I wonder if it's a tea with a taste.
Be sure to check it out when you go to Ginza on weekends.

"Hawk's Ochiyaya" internal release

[Sam] April 21, 2018 18:00

P4200789'RR'.jpgP4200815RS'G.jpg The Hamarikyu Onshi Garden, which is designated as a national special scenic spot and a special historic site, conveys the remnants of the Edo daimyo garden. Many buildings and trees in the garden were destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake and the war, but in order to preserve the cultural property garden and pass it on to the next generation, in addition to the restoration of aging facilities, the restoration of the Ochiya group of Ochiya in 1978 began the restoration of the Ochiya group, which was also important in composing the landscape of the garden, and the restoration of the Ochiya in 20.

"Hawk's Ochiya" was built around Kansei 7 (1795), and when the general performs falconry, the upper steps of tatami mats were set up to sit down to take a break or warm while wearing a costume. Takabeya, which rests the hawk, is also attached to the outside of the building, unlike other Ochiyaya and thatched roofs. A hanging fish (gegyo / fire protection magic) is attached to the wife decoration on the south side of the main building.
