Kawazu Sakura, which bloomed again this year
Snow fell in Tokyo at the beginning of February, but it seems to be a warm winter this year, and there are many warm days near March, and Kawazu cherry blossoms where Shinkawa Park and Chuo-ohashi Bridge are over began to bloom .
<2/17 When it began to bloom >>
<<It is not lit up, but there are streetlights so it looks beautiful. >>
<<The cherry blossoms shine in the background of the blue sky on the 22nd. >>
<<It's cold on the 27th, but it's already in full bloom.>>
I often pass around here, so I watch it while worrying, but in mid-February after the snow falls, the buds are swelling and bloom on the 17th as shown in the photo. About a month, this cherry tree blooms early and has a slightly dark color.
The next that blooms is the cherry blossoms of Eitai Bridge Nishizume, followed by the cherry blossoms of Tsukuda Park and Shinkawa Park.
It is a good time to walk around the Sumida River Terrace in the coming season. By the way, Chuo-ohashi Bridge, which came out of this year's certification question, was completed in 1993.
Ishikawajima Park Snow
In February, there were days when the temperature exceeded 15 degrees the other day, but on this day (2/9), snow as you can see. There was little snow in the morning. According to the previous day's forecast, Tokyo is also paying attention to snow, so snow began to fall near noon, and as you can see, Ishikawajima Park and Shinkawa Park are in a bunch of snow scene.
<<<<<<<Ishikawajima Park in front is slightly snow piled up >>>
<<<<The sky tree ahead of Eitai Bridge under construction on the right is not visible today. >>>
This is the scenery of Shinkawa Park seen from the Chuo-ohashi Bridge and Tsukuda side, which was the problem of this year's sightseeing certification. Kawazu cherry blossoms are located at Shinkawa Park from Chuo-ohashi Bridge, and when I saw them yesterday, the buds are about to swell. Cold days still continue, but I think it will begin to bloom late this month or early March, so I will post it on my blog at that time. Sumida River Terrace _Sumida River Ohashi
The Sumida River Ohashi is the only two-tiered bridge that spans the Sumida River. The upper part is the Metropolitan Expressway, and the lower part is a functional bridge with general roads and sidewalks. I have been asked for the Chuo-ku Tourism Test.
My personal impression is that the whole view of the bridge is not very distinctive, but from this bridge you can see the contrasting bridges of both Eitai Bridge and Kiyosu Bridge.
<< << Eitai Bridge This is a previous photo and is currently under construction. >>>>
<<<<<<I am currently under construction at Kiyosu Bridge here. >>>>
Looking at the structural point, it is supported separately from the part that supports the lower bridge girder and the upper part.
<<<< the pier supporting the bridge girder >>>>
<<<<<<< Supports the Metropolitan Expressway above >>>>>
<<<<<<<<< This part does not support the general road below) >>>>>
Looking at the upper section of the capital highway Hakozaki direction, not only the two steps but also another further above, and the Hakozaki Junction looks like a maze.
<<<<<<< In this part, it is even more above >>>>
<<If you look at the direction of Hakozaki Junction, the Metropolitan Expressway is like a maze and is exactly necessary.>>>
<<<<<<This seismic reinforcement was not available before. >>>>
As you can see not only on the bridge but also on the bottom, there are facilities that support social infrastructure.
Construction of bridges
"Heisei last ...", which I often hear at this time, is also a large-scale construction of the last bridge in Heisei. The construction of the Toyomi Bridge, which spans the Nihonbashi River between Eitai Bridge and Kiyosu Bridge. The repair and renovation of these three bridges at the same time is a sight that can only be seen now.
Eitai Bridge and Kiyosu Bridge are contrasting in the structure of the bridge, and their characteristics can be seen even if they are surrounded by temporary scaffolds.
Eitai Bridge against the backdrop of the Tokyo Sky Tree from Sumida River Ohashi taken several times at the same angle. The photo shows from Chuo-ohashi Bridge, but from Sumida River Ohashi, you can see both Eitai Bridge and Kiyosu Bridge. The Sky Tree is the world's tallest radio tower, but it incorporates traditional Japanese techniques and crafts.
The architectural structure is an oscillation structure like five-storied pagoda, with a core pillar at the center of the building, and the surrounding area is joined by a triangular truss structure. It is said that this triangle does not need to be so fine in terms of strength, but it seems that the design is conscious of Edo Kiriko. In addition, the exterior is not asymmetric centered on the pillar, but asymmetric with the motif of a Japanese sword.
By the way, the construction of Toyomi Bridge repairs, reinforces and raises the bridge. It is scheduled from the beginning of this year to the end of May next year, so it is a large scale that spans the next era from Heisei.
<<<<<<<<You can see the progress of the construction of the Toyomi Bridge. >>>>>>

Opening of Tsukiji Ohashi
As Tsukiji Ohashi and Toyosu Ohashi were opened, I crossed Toyosu Market-Tsukiji 5-chome Bridge.
First, cross the Toyosu Ohashi from the side of the Toyosu Market and reach the Harumi Canal, you can see a small boat sailing because it is high.
On the left is the construction of the Olympic Village. It can be seen that the cranes are crowded and construction is progressing.
On the left side, I think there was a former dome-type exhibition hall building, but as you can see, it has changed completely.
<<<Kachidokibashi, which was the first bridge of the Sumida River since 1940. >>>>>
Crossing the Sumida River, beside Tsukiji Market, this is difficult to understand in the photo, but there was a freight wagon draw line.
<<<<<<<<The front of Hamarikyu is Shiodome in front of Hamarikyu. >>>>
You can see the Tokyo Tower. The red of Tokyo Tower is said to be "International Orange" as the color name. It seems that the color is legally determined because Haneda Airport is near, and San Francisco and Golden Gate Bridge are also this color.
The front is a group of buildings in Shiodome. In the past, there was the Japan National Railways Freight Station, where the tracks were drawn in from here. (The first railway in Japan, Shimbashi Station between Shimbashi and Yokohama, is not the current Shimbashi Station, but this Shiodome.)
<<<<<<<< If you look at Hamarikyu on your left and go further, you will come to Tsukiji 5-chome.>>>>
The traffic light in front of the Asahi Shimbun on the right of the Tsukiji 5-chome intersection, here was the track of the draw line.

The weather was nice and warm on this day, so many foreign tourists enjoyed a walk. Immediately after relocation of the fish shore
At the end of October 6, Tsukiji Market was relocated to Toyosu. I've seen a part of the market immediately after the relocation (migrating).
A few years ago will also be posted.
<<From Tsukiji Fish Bank Kaisaibashi Building >>>>>

<<<<<<<If there were many tracks before, there were many tracks. >>>>>>
<<<< Tsukiji Ohashi Bridge Although it is difficult to understand in this photo, trucks are coming and going.
Mr. Sushi Dai, who was always making a line, was informed of the end of business in 5 days in English.
Before the relocation of Yoshinoya's first store, which became a hot topic. ↑
<<<<< Immediately after relocation> >>>>>
Before the relocation, the letters of Mizu Shrine in 1937 are engraved.
The water shrine was relocated without waiting for October 7.
Flagyama, who had been asked for the sightseeing certification test, remained lonely.
<<<< About a few years ago when the construction of the seafood bridge began. >>>>
Near the Kaisai Bridge, which was taken at the same angle, now and several years ago. The main pillar remains as it is. At this time, the Tsukiji Fish Bank is still under construction. When I was a child, I remember that it was dirty in the Dop River when there was a river.
Although it is crowded on the far-off market, it has become easier to pass than before. I think you can calm down and buy something. |
