Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/confident.gif) ![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/clover.gif) Where do you look when you walk around the town? Do you often see things with high eyes and high-rise commercial and complex facilities ? This time, we call it the "How to Walk in Chuo-ku" series, and introduce how to enjoy Chuo-ku from a slightly unusual perspective.
The first one is Chuo-ku, seen from the sky.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/shine.gif) There are many rooftops of commercial facilities that are open in Chuo-ku. Isn't there much opportunity to see the whole ward in a wide area?
If you look at Chuo-ku with an aerial photograph of Google Map, you can try it out. I get the impression that it is an area blessed with watersides such as the Sumida River and Nihonbashi River.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/flair.gif)
![Google Map.jpg](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/06/Google%20Map-thumb-500xauto-57887.jpg) (Source: Google Map)
At the same time, some people may realize that there are many distinctive bridges.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/note.gif) In this way, there are some interesting discoveries when viewed from the sky, so I will introduce them.
■Bank of Japan As you may already know, many people are in the shape of a circle when viewed from above.
(Source: Google Map)
■St. Luke's Tower I can hardly notice it from the ground, but When viewed from the sky, it has the shape of a Greek cross (the same length crosses the same length and the axis tree, center).
(Source: Google Map) (If you drag the image below, you can see the cross part.)
From the Restaurant Luke with Sky Lounge on the 47th floor of this tower, you can see the RestAURANT LUKE with SKY LOUNGE. You can see not only the Tokyo Tower and the Sky Tree, but also Mount Fuji on a sunny day.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/fuji.gif) In addition, it is located near the Sumida River. It is also possible to see the bridge over the Sumida River.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/good.gif)
![IMG_6017.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/06/IMG_6017-thumb-500xauto-58006.jpg)
By the way, so far, we have delivered the view from the sky that can be enjoyed from houses and facilities. However, I would like to recommend it to those who want to enjoy a little more unusual way. It is a view of Chuo-ku as seen from an airplane.![Airplane](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/airplane.gif) I had the opportunity to use an airplane from Haneda Airport on a business trip and tried to shoot in Chuo-ku. Unfortunately it was cloudy and not clear, but I was able to take such a picture.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/camera.gif)
![Above.jpg](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/06/Above-thumb-500xauto-57944.jpg) (* Click the image to see it on the enlarged screen.)
The area around Nihonbashi didn't fit well, but you can see a number of distinctive buildings.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/heart01.gif) It passes before the seat belt sign disappears, so when traveling north from Haneda Airport, take a seat on the window side on the left in the direction of travel and enjoy Chuo-ku from the sky. ?
In addition, on the Geographical Survey Institute's "Geographical Institute Map", you can see prewar aerial photographs of the 23 wards of Tokyo (around 1936) overlaid with the current map and aerial photographs of each age.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/search.gif) The released aerial photograph states that "the oldest aerial photograph owned by the Geographical Survey Institute and whose shooting time is known." It looks just good to see the prewar Chuo-ku.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/notes.gif)
When walking around the town, you may visit places you care about with aerial photographs.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/foot.gif)

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/confident.gif) ![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/clover.gif) There is something like a boom in history. This year, 150 years after the Meiji Restoration, there are a lot of events and tours related to it! Saigo Takamori, a related person, is also attracting attention, including Taiga drama series.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/shine.gif) But at the same time, did you know that Jomon was hot after the tumulus? "The most beautiful mysteries in the world" and "the origin of beauty in Japan"... It is called "Jomon" and attracts attention worldwide. At the Tokyo National Museum, special exhibition's "Jomon: The Beat of 10,000 Years of Beauty" began on July 3. Also in early July, the movie "People who are addicted to Jomon" will be released.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/slate.gif)
![DSC_1982.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/DSC_1982-thumb-500xauto-56147.jpg)
In addition, the Jomon archaeological sites in Hokkaido and northern Tohoku are aiming to be registered as World Heritage. An unprecedented Jomon boom has arrived, such as a tour of Jomon archeological sites.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/typhoon.gif) Furthermore, "Omprisey Miyake" developed a collection inspired by Jomon pottery decorations and patterns in the fall and winter of 2017. This spring and summer fashion incorporates clay figurines as motifs.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/good.gif) Some experts say that Jomon pottery and clay figurines are modern designs. Jomon may have been a gorgeous and attractive era.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/note.gif) This time, we will introduce a talk about clay figurines held at Kouyama Ryusen-do, a long-established antique art museum during the Tokyo Art Antique period, as well as sweets on the theme of Jomon period that can be enjoyed in Chuo-ku and ward around Jomon period. Talk by Kimiyuki Kawashima, Representative Director, "DOGU - Dogu Various Dogu" There are parts that are connected to other civilizations, and the daily lives and prayers of the people at that time are reflected. I was able to learn about the charm of clay figurines that I didn't teach at school.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/pencil.gif) Here is a brief introduction of the contents of the talk.
![Ryusen-do _ Appearance 4.jpg](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/%E9%BE%8D%E6%B3%89%E5%A0%82_%E5%A4%96%E8%A6%B34-thumb-500xauto-56717.jpg) (Image provided by Kouyama Ryusen-do) ■Worldwide! In the pre-stage of civilization (especially after the late Paleolithic age), earthen and stone doll statues have been found around the world.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/eye.gif) The image of a woman excavated from the Dolni Vestnis archeological site in the Czech Republic is shown. It is very similar to the "Jomon Venus" excavated in Japan. Similar female images have been found in Germany, Switzerland, and the Indus River basin. It can be seen that many human groups on earth were wearing such production techniques. However, the Chinese civilization, which had already made pottery using pigments in 6000 BC, is exception! It was during the Warring States period between the 5th and 3rd centuries BC that black pottery warriors and warriors began to be made.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/flair.gif) This point seems to be unexpectedly blind spots among clay figurines researchers. The details are expected to be gradually revealed in future studies. ■Reflection of Lifestyle It is said that the Jomon clay figurines can read the life at that time.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/search.gif) From the beginning to the first half of the year: Because hunting is the main thing, there are many small and simple clay figurines that can be carried around. Medium-term: The climate is stable and a huge settlement is created, and the number of gorgeous clay figurines with attention to detail increases. ■The motif is a woman Since ancient times, many idols in the shape of women have been made from prayers for fertility and fertility. Example: "Squealing clay figurines" (with earthen balls in the abdomen) inspired by a woman who lives. Clay figurines representing the scene of childbirth (Tangible Cultural Property designated by Yamanashi Prefecture) However, with the passage of time, the priesthood elements associated with the Gemojin were added. In the late and late stages, they began to have funeral-related and human-separated elements.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/cloud.gif) It is a clay figurine that tends to be put together in the Jomon period. In fact, I was able to know again that the meaning and application are diverse.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/pencil.gif) Chuo-ku, before and after Jomon period Chuo-ku has gradually increased landfills since the opening of the prefecture, and flourished. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that there is no previous image. However, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government White Paper on Buried Cultural Properties (1977) records that there are two shell mounds in Chuo Ward.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/book.gif) Did people already live in the area that was land for a long time before and after the Jomon period? In a lecture in 1935, Dr. Ryuzo Torii, a leader in prehistoric and anthropology in East Asia, gave a lecture. It is said that deer bones and flat stone tools from Paleolithic period were excavated from the place where it was Shirakiya at the time. Unfortunately, the discovery was lost in the Shirakiya fire several years before the lecture. It seems that there are no photographs or records like this.... No matter how true or false, there is romance.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/confident.gif) In 1951, a small woman's human bone of about 20 years old at 120 cm was discovered from the construction site of Mitsui Annex, and the newspaper introduced only to the ancestors of Shimomachi daughter as "Nihonbashi Komachi"! Dr. Nobuo Naora, who investigated, thought of it as an ancient man from the excavated layer of bones, and named it "Homosapiens / Nihon Basiens".![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/notes.gif) Another doctor criticized me that he was close to the skulls of the Middle Ages and early modern times, and that he was not an ancient man. "Nihonbashi Komachi" and "Homosapiens and Nihon Basiens" are unique names, right?![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/good.gif) In the end, no Jomon period archeological site has been identified in Chuo-ku. There was an interesting fact that I didn't expect. There are many mysteries that have not been elucidated in modern times, and I'm just crazy about it.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/heart01.gif) And finally, I would like to introduce sweets with the theme of clay figurines.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/note.gif) It is Ginza NAGANO that handles such unique sweets.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/shine.gif) The relationship between Nagano and Jomon may not come easily, but it may not be easy to see. Actually, the famous "Jomon Venus" was excavated at the Tanahata archeological site in Chino City, Nagano Prefecture!
![Appearance 2.jpg](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/06/%E5%A4%96%E8%A6%B32-thumb-500xauto-57726.jpg) (Image provided by Ginza NAGANO) The first thing that caught my eye in the corner where products related to Jomon were lined up was that Not only the shape, but also the acorn flour and the ingredients here are Jomon-like cookies.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/lovely.gif) I'm looking forward to seeing what it tastes!
![ck1806_20180623.jpg](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/06/ck1806_20180623-thumb-500xauto-57955.jpg)

I mean, I went to Rose Bakery, which I had been worried about for more than 5 years the other day.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/foot.gif) There are several stores in Tokyo, and in Chuo-ku, it is on the 7th floor of Ginza Komatsu West Building.

Hello. I'm Hanes, a new correspondent. Time passed quickly, and it was the rainy season....![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/rain.gif) When it rains a lot, commuting and going to school tend to be depressed.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/despair.gif)
Along with that, outdoor morning activities like running early in the morning gradually become as the weather becomes.... However, there is a spot in Tsukiji where you can enjoy valuable morning activities even if it is raining. This time, as the second installment of the morning activity series, we will take up Tsukiji Honganji that you know.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/flair.gif)
![IMG_9209.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/IMG_9209-thumb-500xauto-56843.jpg)
Since I can visit here from 6 o'clock, I have an image of early morning. The morning activity I would like to introduce this time is not a regular worship! It is the morning sutra "Jinjogonkyo", which is held every morning from 7 o'clock. This is open to the general public, and you can listen to useful stories. I have participated several times so far.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/notes.gif)
This time, we received permission from a public relations officer at Tsukiji Honganji. I would like to introduce the details.
![IMG_9206.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/IMG_9206-thumb-500xauto-56847.jpg)
Chen dynasty begins with a sutra and proceeds in the flow of a monk's story (legal story). The content of the monk's story changes every time, so no matter how many times you participate, there are new discoveries.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/good.gif) The story of "Shinran-sama's Day" on the 16th of last month will give you a review of your daily life. It was a content that resonates with my heart, so I would like to introduce it briefly. (Shinran-sama's Day: The anniversary of the death of Shinran saint of the Jodo Shinshu sect, on the 16th of every month.)
■What is really important? When jazz singer Shigeko Suzuki participated in peace activities in Uganda, he felt "richness of darkness". The people of Uganda have excellent dark vision, and in the dark we can see things that are invisible to us as Japanese. In addition, it is said that it is a time zone where stars can be seen during the day.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/night.gif) We don't notice that there are stars even during the bright daytime. This is because of the lightness of the time when it became more convenient, we can say that the essence of things is no longer visible.
Today, AI (Artificial Intelligence) has come to play an active role![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/pc.gif) Within 20 years, 70-80% of work will be replaced by computers, Google founder Larry Page said. In response, an expert analyzed the work that will remain 20 years later, and it was interesting to say that the monk was first mentioned.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/flair.gif) No matter how good artificial intelligence is, it is said that it is derived from the viewpoint that life and death cannot be talked about. Considering that, the future of the temple may be brighter than expected.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/confident.gif)
Also, as soon as Yahoo!'s former CEO Marissa Meyer arrives, Mr. He said that new things were born only by coming to the company and meeting face-to-face instead of working from home. Certainly, working from home is one of the modern ways of working, and it is gradually becoming popular.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/house.gif) There is also a way of thinking that you should go to work only when you need it because of the widespread use of computers. On the other hand, critic Goro Yamada says that it is arrogant to know what you need and what you don't need.
In other words, by realizing how we, living in a convenient society, spend every day on our own convenience only. It seems that there is an opportunity to think about what is really important.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/good.gif) And it was the Shinran Saint who taught me the importance of being aware of such things. Although the temple is a space different from modern society, it may exist while grasping the trends of modern society more than expected.
In particular, on the 1st and 16th of each month, after the Brilliance dynasty service for such reasons, the 1st and 16th of every month. There is an entertainment of porridge containing "red beans", which is Shinran's favorite, and there is an entertainment of porridge. We will have you with your monks and the participants.
![IMG_9204.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/IMG_9204-thumb-500xauto-56845.jpg)
In addition, on the 16th of Shinran-sama Day, you can enjoy the original bamboo shoot bean paste with the Tsukiji Honganji logo mark stamped.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/shine.gif) This is not for sale only to Brilliance participants, and the manufacturer is Tsukiji Kimuraya, a famous Anpan specialty.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/lovely.gif) Would you like to try it once? For more information, please visit this website. http://tsukijihongwanji.jp/shinran-day
![IMG_9220.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/IMG_9220-thumb-500xauto-56849.jpg)
On the other hand, if you have a high hurdle to participate in the Brilliance dynasty service, you may have a high hurdle. Go to Tsukiji Honganji Cafe Tsumugi, a cafe at the Information Center attached to Tsukiji Honganji Temple.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/run.gif) This cafe is operated by Pront Corporation, which operates "Cafe & Burprot" nationwide. In connection with the fundamental request of Amida Buddha's 48th request, the 18th request. You can have 18 dishes, including porridge and miso soup, with a balance of nutrition. Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/confident.gif) ![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/clover.gif) Suddenly, do you like ramen? Although it is not unique to Japan, it is now popular all over the world as a Japanese dish.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/shine.gif)
Of course, there are a lot of hot ramen shops in Ginza, a stylish city. This time, the Michelin Guide was recommended by gourmet acquaintances. Bib Gulman listed stores (applicable to shops that are delicious for less than 5,000 yen per meal even though there are no stars) I would like to introduce "Mugito Olive Ginza Store".![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/notes.gif)
It was just on the famous guide, and by the time I went straight to work, there was already a line....!
![IMG_20180523_212545.jpg](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/IMG_20180523_212545-thumb-autox667-56720.jpg)
It's a ramen shop, but it has an appearance that even has the atmosphere of a stylish Italian restaurant. I saw many women returning from work and foreigners.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/notes.gif) And because the rotation is relatively fast, you can enter the store without waiting so much!
![DSC_2288.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/DSC_2288-thumb-autox667-56722.jpg)
This system allows you to purchase meal tickets in advance. Looking next to the meal ticket machine, I found a Michelin-listed proof.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/flair.gif) Although it's Bibleman, the Michelin store has been since Hatchobori noodles and Nanasai (popular for handmade noodles), so looking at this will increase your expectations!
![DSC_2289.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/DSC_2289-thumb-autox667-56732.jpg)
I ordered Clam SOBA, one of the signboard menus.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/heart01.gif) It is a luxurious dish that uses plenty of clams sent directly from Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, without regretting.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/good.gif)
![DSC_2292.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/DSC_2292-thumb-autox667-56727.jpg)
After seating, wait while having fun pre-study with "Mugi Ori SOBA delicious way to eat" and "Olive oil story" provided on the table.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/pencil.gif) Apparently, chicken oil extracted from Oyama chicken is floated on the surface of SOBA. It seems that if you mix while pushing the soup at the bottom of the lotus, it will blend well with the soup and will be in good balance.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/shine.gif) In addition, the noodles are original developed jointly with the long-established noodle shop "Noodle shop Ikugaku" in Kyoto, founded in 1931, and use more than 20 kinds of flour in Hokkaido alone, and it seems to be a discerning finish that emphasizes compatibility with soups and ingredients.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/notes.gif)
![DSC_2302.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/DSC_2302-thumb-500xauto-56733.jpg)
About 10 minutes to wait... It's neither soy sauce nor seafood, but has a rich fragrance like never before. This is what was brought here![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/lovely.gif)
![DSC_2295.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/DSC_2295-thumb-500xauto-56734.jpg)
Toppings are fried with low-temperature chicken char siu, trefoil, and olive oil. Fried domestic yam, seaweed, and clam! The low-temperature chicken char siu had a moderate moist feeling without crunchy. The reason is that it is prepared by vacuum low-temperature cooking, which is famous as a cooking technique for French cuisine.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/shine.gif)
After receiving two-thirds, I enjoyed the change in taste by adding "Echarot oil" made of olive oil.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/good.gif) It was my first time to put olive oil in ramen, but the taste of the ingredients did not fight. And they were creating new harmony with each other.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/heart01.gif) Olive oil makes it difficult to attach neutral fat and reduces skin problems. It's also nice to have a lot of health and beauty effects.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/bud.gif)
![DSC_2296.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/DSC_2296-thumb-500xauto-56853.jpg)
The soup was also made with a lot of time and effort, so it was a delicious SOBA that was particular about soup, noodles, toppings and everything! When a friend who loves ramen from overseas comes to play, it is a shop that we definitely want to show you.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/restaurant.gif)

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/confident.gif) ![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/clover.gif) From 26th (Sat) at the National Film Archive (formerly the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo Film Center). EU Film Days 2018, which shows selected films from EU member countries, has begun.
I've been looking forward to the next event since I went to see "The Whereabouts of Goodwill" (Netherlands) and "Prosecutor, Adviser, Father, and Son" (Bulgaria) last June! I used to watch famous fiction movies like "Harry Potter" before, but I used to watch a famous fiction movie like "Harry Potter". Due to the influence of the host mother who took care of me while studying in the UK, I was able to do so. Although it is not widely disclosed in Japan, he is also interested in works that have been highly evaluated in the production country. I went to see if I had the opportunity.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/notes.gif)
The movie I chose on the first day of this event was "Kitz-sensei's Children" (Netherlands / original title: De kinderen van juf Kiet)! With immigrants and refugee children who came to the Netherlands after escaping the war from Syria This is a documentary film that captures the true days of Mr. Kitz, who is responsible for them. What a Japanese premiere![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/shine.gif) The growth and life-size problems of each child are captured. The innocentness of the child often caused laughter.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/smile.gif)
Since this movie will also be screened at venues in Kyoto and Hiroshima, I will refrain from commenting on spoilers, including spoilers. We will introduce a little behind-the-scenes story of shooting and production from guest talks with directors Petra Rataster Zish and Peter Rataster.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/slate.gif)
![IMG_9399.JPG](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/assets_c/2018/05/IMG_9399-thumb-500xauto-56933.jpg)
■Encounter with Mr. Kitz In the Netherlands, the low wages of teachers are regarded as a problem. It seems that the two directors initially wanted to create a movie that could appeal to the teacher's status. So I asked if there were any interesting teachers in the network between teachers. It seems that this led to an encounter with Mr. Kitz.
■Building relationships with children Since the shooting took place on the first day of the new semester on September 1, both of the directors seemed to be seen like teachers at first. The children gradually become accustomed to being in the classroom. It seems that they have come to accept both sides.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/note.gif)
■The school is shooting location Some immigrants and refugee children have complex family circumstances. However, this film mainly focuses on children growing up at school.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/school.gif) This was decided when I first talked with Mr. Kitz. He said that he should give priority to leaving the children's thoughts in the movie, not the teacher. Therefore, the shooting was performed at the height of the children's eyes.![](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/good.gif)
EU Film Days 2018, where works from 25 of the 28 EU member states will be screened. There are also times when guest talks by directors and other filmmakers are held. It's a valuable opportunity to touch and delve into and understand European movies. Why don't you take this opportunity to travel to Western Europe with a movie?![Airplane](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/archive/mt-static/plugins/InsertIcon/images/airplane.gif)
