◆Local Tenmonkan Newly Registered Cultural Properties-Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine Reconstruction and Shigure Hasegawa Materials-Planning Exhibition is being held!

[Akira Makibuchi / Sharakusai] May 2, 2017 16:00

At the Chuo Ward Folk Tenmonkan (Time Dome Akashi), a special exhibition "Let's See Together and Know Together-Our Treasure-Newly Registered Residents' Cultural Properties Exhibition 2017" began on April 29 (holiday / Saturday). . Two items, "Sumiyoshi Shrine Reconstruction Method Book (cut wood)" and "Shigure Hasegawa Related Documents", which were newly registered as inhabitants of a ward cultural property in 2017, are on display. The exhibition period is closed on Monday until June 25 (Sun) and admission is free. Chuo-ku HP "News of Ward Chuo" Click here>>

0913_673_170429kikakuten.jpgThe first cultural property is a woodblock of "Tsukudajima Sumiyoshi Shrine Reconstruction Method Book". This is the original plate of a document that raises dedication money for the reconstruction of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine, which was destroyed by fire, with three woodblocks carved in 1835 (1835). Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine suffered a great fire twice during this period in 1829 (1829) and 1834 (1834). It became difficult to rebuild on their own, and Shirakiya, a ten-gumi wholesaler, became caretakers, and fellow wholesalers embarked on support. The woodblock says, "We will collect daily coins according to the stockholding for five years."

The second cultural property is "Shigure Hasegawa related materials", which covers a series of materials such as books, magazines, manuscripts, and photographs of female writer Shigure Hasegawa. The rain was born in 1879 (1879) in Aburamachi, Nihonbashi-dori (now Nihonbashi Daidenmacho 3-chome). In 1905 (1905), he established himself as the first female Kabuki screenwriter after the script "Umichoon" was selected as a special feature by Shoyo Tsubouchi and was spotlighted. Fumiko Hayashi's "Wandering Ki" is born from the magazine "Women Art" which he presided over. "Old Mon Nihonbashi" is now known as an essay masterpiece that vividly depicts the lives of the people living in the Nihonbashi area where they were born and raised.

This exhibition is an unprecedented exhibition focusing on newly registered inhabitants of the ward cultural properties, and is an opportunity to experience familiar and valuable cultural properties unique to Chuo-ku. . @ Akira Makibuchi
