Ginza New Chocolatry OPEN Part 3

[Satsuki Yanagi] March 4, 2012 08:30

This is the last episode of [Ginza New Chocolatry OPEN], which we have been introducing since the other day.

"BLONDEL Brondel" in Ginza 8-chome

P1070621.jpg

In 1850, Switzerland is a 160-year-old long-established chocolate tree founded by Adrian Brondel in Lausanne.

Since then, the current chocolatier has been following the unchanging manufacturing method.

There is a variety of chocolates that use plenty of Alps milk and cream.

Praline/Plaline (1 piece/$380) with many different types

The former truffle style Truffes al'ancienne/Trufuancienne (1 piece/$399) is made by short cut and thinly coated.

A plate-shaped chocolate chocolate marto / Chocolat au Marteau (100g / 280) lined with a wide variety of types, such as a mixture of various couvertures and a combination of nuts and dried fruits.

In addition, there are configuries that are coated with chocolate on orange slices boiled with sugar.

The gift package is also a Swiss national flag pattern and cute!

It seems that the three chocolate treatments that were OPEN this year are both air-lifted from their home country, so it costs a lot of money, so it seems to be a little expensive ...

However, it is very happy to be able to taste the chocolate loved in the world in this Ginza!

Ginza New Chocolatry OPEN Part 1

[Satsuki Yanagi] February 22, 2012 08:30

In Ginza, there are many famous chocolate shops (chocolate shops) in the world (including underground and street shops).

And this year, New Year's Day is over, and three new shops are open on January 4th, just before Valentine's Day!

The two of them all know well: Next to the building of the Belgian Chocolatery & Cafe "Pierre Marcolini Ginza", two shops were OPEN with their neighbors.

P1070580.jpg Today, I would like to introduce one of them (the shop on the right in the photo above).

P1070582.jpgFrance has been a long-established store in Albowa, the Jura region for more than 100 years.

"HIRSINGER Ilsan Jeh,"

In Albowa's main store, the first store and atelier becomes like a museum and is open to the public.

P1070583.jpgEdward Ilsan Jeh, the fourth-generation current owner and chocolatier, won the M.O.F. (Best Technology Craftsman Award in France) at the age of 33, and suddenly became a notable chocolatier worldwide.

The tricolor color on the collar of the cock coat is only allowed by M.O.F.

Mr. Edward and his wife

P1070584.jpg

Rabbits of the Pack Festival (Easter), fish molds of Poisson Dubrile (Aprilefur), and sables of Noel (Christmas), which have been handed down from generation to generation, are displayed in the store.

The eyes, nose and mouth are carved, and cute!

P1070586.jpg

And it's the important chocolate, but most of them were sold out.

Everything seems to be ¥600, ¥800, ¥1000, depending on each category.

"Part de Freuy (Fruit Jelly)" was on sale a little bit.

P1070585.jpg

Depending on what I heard from a certain person ...

Edward, who came to the store earlier this month, was surprised by these pricing!

"In France, sweets you enjoy everyday, so it's not so expensive."

"I am very pleased with the passion and affection of Japanese people for chocolate."

P1070587.jpg

Everything is handmade and air-lifted from France, so Itashikatanashi! That's right.

Would you give it to someone?

What a reward for yourself?

You may need more courage than usual when you get a single grain!

Notice Tokyo BAYNET "O NEW's Hosomichi + α (plus alpha)"

[Satsuki Yanagi] January 28, 2012 08:30

In the spring of 2009, the "Chuo-ku Tourism Association correspondent blog" started.

It's been my third year, isn't it?

Thank you very much for always visiting this site.

A long time ago, I asked you to listen to it.

My idol (no, Koto-ku, Chuo-ku)

NEC_0002.jpgStar of Tokyo Bay Net's program called "O NEW's Hosomichi": I'm going to cover the location of Frog's program.

That blog: http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/blog/2010/06/post-374.html

I'm afraid I've had an interview with a frog.

That blog: http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/blog/2010/06/post-375.html

(Note: From that time, the frog trained repeatedly and became a "frog master", and currently has a disciple. The program name has changed to "NEW's narrow path + α (plus alpha)"! )

Since then, I have been in contact with occasionally (in fact, rarely) information about Chuo-ku.

And here is [news].

2012 This year's first "NEW's Hosomichi + α" is ...

Sanuki udon "Orabusaru" of Shinkawa, Chuo-ku, which I also introduced on this blog, will appear!

orabsal17.jpgI'm really looking forward to seeing how "Frog Master" interviews and what kind of [one phrase] will be written!

Movie "Kirin's Tsubasa-Theatrical Version, Newcomer"

[Satsuki Yanagi] January 20, 2012 08:30

"Nihonbashi" celebrated its 100th anniversary last year (after it became a stone bridge) in 2011.

It will be a hot spot in 2012!

P1070196.jpg

"Nihonbashi" has a guardian "lion statue" that firmly grasps the Tokyo mark and a prosperous "Kirin statue" with wings on the back.

Both are paired with "A statue" and "Un statue" like komainu.

P1070195.jpg The movie set in this Nihonbashi is "Kirin's Tsubasa".
This is a theater version of the popular TV drama "Newcomer", and it is finally a road show on January 28 in Toho nationwide.

It is said to be the best masterpiece of the combination series by the author Keigo Higashino and Hiroshi Abe starring.

From the show window of "Nihonbashi Nishikawa" in the south of Nihonbashi ...

P1070234.jpg

P1070235.jpg

P1070238.jpg

"The Seven Mysteries" ...?

"My father's secret" ...

Well, I'm excited!

By the way

The "Kirin no Tsubasa" panel exhibition is currently being held at "Cored Nihonbashi" B1 Atrium.

Until 1/29.

Sanuki Udon ORABSAL Orabusaru

[Satsuki Yanagi] December 7, 2011 08:30

orabusal2.jpg

This year 2011. 8. "Sanki Udon ORABSAL Orabusaru" opened on 18th.

"Udon Baka Corps", who was spreading Sanuki udon at Kichijoji and Suidobashi (you are named yourself ... →), has moved to Shinkawa. We are proud of "homemade authentic handmade noodles" that are beaten every day at the shop.

orabsal18.jpg

Lunch is self-service.

Don't ¥300~

Tempura various ¥100~

Rice 100~
In the evening, boil the noodles for each order and carry the freshly made to your seat.

Udon various ¥400~

Draft beer ¥400, highball ¥300, shochu and locally brewed sake ¥300.

"Sanuki no Tsunomi" etc. ¥300 ~

It's a full menu.

orabsal22.jpg orabsal24.jpg

I went to lunch and at night.

First of all, it is "Kamatamama" without hesitation.

orabsal19.jpg

orabsal5.jpg

I'm glad that the soup stock is also self-service!

A cold night ... Warm "meat udon" ¥ 550, "Kamatama" ¥ 450 plus "Spring chrysanthemum and burdock Kakiageten" ¥ 100.

orabsal20.jpg orabsal21.jpg

The noodles were freshly boiled, and the shaved heavens were fried and brought to the seat.

"Sanki Udon" is a popular eel climbing recently.

I've been to several Sanuki udon chain stores many times, and I thought, "Sanki udon is delicious!"

However, after all, "homemade authentic handmade noodles" has a transparent luster, a smooth but crunchy feeling, and noodles alone have a taste ... something is different.

  orabsal16.jpg

"Orabu ...? Monkey ...?"

I asked the shop staff.

"Orabu" is a dialect of the Sanuki region, which means "screaming".

[Sanki Udon ORABSAL Orabusaru] It's the website.
