◎Correspondent Visit to Shopping Street (13th)◎

Creating a safe, secure and clean city / Ginza 1-4-chome Namiki-dori St. Association

Namiki-dori St. is a street where old and new shops line up and reflect the history of Ginza deeply. By Harumi-dori St., Namiki-dori St. is roughly divided into 1-4 chome and 5-8 chome.
Today, we talked to Chairman Matsuzaki of the Street Association about the Ginza 1-4-chome Namiki-dori St. Association, which has achieved unique development.

Namiki_01.jpg

①What is the history of the store association?

Along with Ginza Chuo-dori, Namiki-dori St. is connected by one across Ginza 1-8 chome, but if you look at Harumi-dori St. as a river, 1-4 chome and 5-8 chome are on the opposite shore, and the composition of the city itself is different.

5-8 chome has the structure of a city where there are many individual stores such as restaurants and bars, and the number of brand stores has increased along with it.
On the other hand, 1-4 chome was home to newspapers and large companies, so there were many lands with relatively large frontages, and even after rebuilding, the streets became dotted with large buildings. I have a structure.

The store association itself was founded in 1994, and is a new street association (store association) in Ginza.
About 20 years ago, a story about expanding the sidewalk of Namiki-dori St. and changing it to a way that is easy for people to walk up from 5-8 chome, and a sidewalk filled with marble was completed.

A few years later, there was a plan to develop sidewalks in 1-4 chome, and the management organization "Ginza 1-4 chome Namiki-dori St. Association" was established.
It is a "dori-kai" with a history that was established with the aim of spreading the sidewalk and keeping the city clean, so it is slightly different from other shopping streets that have been spontaneously gathered.

In addition, concrete blocks called interlocking are laid on the sidewalks of 1-4 chome.
Namiki_02.jpg
It may be interesting to walk along Namiki-dori St. while watching the difference in the materials on the sidewalk.

②What is the size and characteristics of the store association?

The store association faces Namiki-dori St. from 1-chome to 4-chome.
Currently, there are about 70 member stores.

At present, the big commercial building is where a large company has been rebuilt.
Large buildings such as Plantan Ginza (formerly Yomiuri Shimbun Headquarters), Belvia Hall (formerly Fuji Film), ZOE Ginza (formerly Toho Seimei) and relatively small select shops are mixed in a good mix, so it is sharp and I think it's a fun street to walk.

Namiki_03.jpg
In addition, when you enter the alley, there are popular restaurants, and there are a wide variety of shops, from luxury shops to red lanterns, so I think that it is a street where you can enjoy the unique charm of Ginza.

③What's the difference?

In recent years, the number of young women visiting the city has increased.
In recent years, the flow of people from a large commercial building (Yurakucho Itosia) built in front of Yurakucho Station to Ginza Chuo-dori through Plantan Ginza, Marronnier Gate, and Marronnier Street has been fixed.
The number of unique shops on Namiki-dori St. along the way has also increased, and people are flowing from Marronnier Street to Namiki-dori St.
Namiki_04.jpg
Even at Namiki-dori St., 5-8 chome is lined with luxury brand stores, but 1-4 chome has many select shops and unique stores, and as a result, it feels like it attracts young women.

④Do you have any unique services or events offered at the store association?

Since it is a "street society" that assumes that the aesthetics of the street are protected, the store association's own services, events, and sales are not provided at this time.
At Autumn Ginza, a festival of the entire Ginza held at the end of October, Ginza 1-4-chome Namiki-dori St. Association is also sponsoring, but it has not yet been reached before holding its own event.

⑤As the chairman's hot feelings ...

We regard "safety, security and cleanliness" as the most important thing for a street party.
We believe these three are the biggest services for customers who come to Namiki-dori St..
We strive to create a city that "If you go to Ginza, you can shop safely and with peace of mind", and as well as Namiki-dori St. 1-4 chome, as well as the entire city of Ginza, we are working to create a city based on the common recognition that we must protect this "safety, security and cleanliness".

Namiki_05.jpgIn addition, as the number of foreign customers is increasing, we believe that "safety, security, and cleanliness" will lead to a better image not only in Ginza but also in Japan.
From now on, I would like to continue to adhere to these three keywords to make Ginza better.

<Additional Story>

The oldest shop in the store association is Matsuzaki Senmochi, where Chairman Matsuzaki is president, and has a history of nearly 200 years.

Namiki_06.jpgNowadays, it is fashionable and state-of-the-art Namiki-dori St., but it was originally a living road.
In the past, there was a fruit and vegetable market in Kyobashi, so the vegetables transported by boat from Chiba were replaced with Daihachi cars at the dock in Kibiki-cho, and they were passing through Namiki-dori St. while pulling with horses. is.

In the past, there was a drinking fountain in the middle of Namiki-dori St. where horses could drink water.
In this way, Namiki-dori St. did not start with a shopping street lined with shops, but it seems that the development of living roads was realized.
It was an unimaginable story from the current Namiki-dori St.

<Report>

Mr. Matsuzaki is like Ginza's living character, but it was a very soft atmosphere, and I was very careful during the interview, and if I noticed it, the interview time was greatly exceeded.
Not only long-established shops that have been around for a long time, but also new shops that are newly opened in Ginza love the city of "Ginza", and it is clearly understood that individual efforts are being made to make Ginza better.
It was an interview that made the walk in Ginza even more enjoyable. Thank you very much, Mr. Matsuzaki.

◎Correspondents Visit to Shopping Street (12th) Together with Ryogokubashi and Yagenbori Fudoin / Higashinihombashi Yagenbori Shopping Association

◎Correspondent Visit to Shopping Street (12th)◎

Together with Ryogokubashi and Yagenbori Fudoin / Higashinihombashi Yagenbori Shopping Association

We spoke with Kazuo Ozaki, the owner of Nihonbashi Kibundo and chairman of the store association.

First of all, about the area of the store association

Higashinihombashi Yagenbori Shotenkai is said to be a gathering of retail stores such as wholesalers and wholesalers of "Higashibashi 2-chome" where Yagenbori Fudoin is located.Chuo-kuIt's located at the northeast end of the house.

IMG_7401coltcomp.JPG
On the east side of the city is the Sumida River and Ryogoku Bridge, and on the northern Kanda River, there are Yanagibashi and Asakusabashi at the exit of the Sumida River.

IMG_7716coltcomp.JPGThere is a characteristic point of access to Yagenbori Fudoin. That's a rare six-way street. This is the point where Fudoin-dori, Yanagibashi-dori, and Naka-dori, where Fudoin is located, intersect.

There is a gas station at the intersection, so it seems easy to understand if you go there.

②I heard about the historical story of the city. He talked while looking at the map of the Edo period on the shop.

In this area, Hashizume, on this side of Ryogoku Bridge, Ryogoku Hirokoji was built as a fire protection area for the great fire of Edo, and it was one of the best places in Edo, which was crowded with playhouses, tea mise, and stalls. It seems that it was.

Also, on both sides of Yanagibashi on the Kanda River, there were famous restaurants since the Edo period.

Until the first half of the Showa era, geishas often came to this area for shopping with their husbands who came to a restaurant in Yanagibashi, and many black-painted cars came.

In the fireworks festival of Ryogoku Bridge, a pier was set up in Sumida river’s edge near this area, and river boats were lined up tightly, attracting a large number of spectators.

Recently, convenience stores and izakaya chain stores have entered the shopping district, and it seems that the number of retail stores has decreased due to the declining population due to the construction of buildings and the sluggishness of wholesale districts, but there are also shops that continue to follow the traditional tradition There is.

③I asked you about the shops of the store association.

It seems that there is a shop in Higashi Nihonbashi 2-chome that has continued since the Edo period and the early Meiji period.

Okiya "Seven-colored pepper" t.jpg IMG_7431coltcomp.JPGIt is said that the "Oki Tang Karashi store" of seven colors red pepper was founded in the middle of the Edo period, and Chairman Ozaki said that it was the oldest in this area.

IMG_7718coltcomp.JPG"Horitsu Chapo" was founded in 1717 and is also old here.

It is a long-established Japanese tea specialty store that has been set up on the present Higashinihombashi "Suzuran Street" for 90 years.

"Littlemermaid" is located at the intersection of a six-way street, but it seems that his predecessor was a bakery founded in Meiji period, and was famous for Milk Hall.

IMG_7762tcolcomp.JPGToriyasu, a duck dish in front of Nihonbashi Junior High School, is a long-established store founded in 1872.

The duck restaurant "Ahigamo Sukiyaki Course" is one of the famous long-established stores that has been serving only one dish for nearly 140 years.

IMG_7473coltcomp.JPG"Nihonbashi Kibundo", run by Chairman Ozaki, is famous for baked goods such as doll ware and rice crackers.

Mr. Ozaki, the owner, says, "We are a new person in history." However, it seems that it has been about 70 years since it was founded in the beginning of Showa.

These old shops are decorated with old photographs of this town where the old Ryogokubashi and Yagenbori Fudoin are located, and if you go to the shop, you will definitely see it.

IMG_7758coltcomp.JPGMr. Ozaki made a handwritten map of the Yagenbori Town Association in the early Taisho era, and a large picture of Sajiki , which was crowded with customers on the banks of the Sumida River during fireworks festival in both countries.

(Thank you for showing valuable maps and photos.)

IMG_7725coltcomp.JPG
There is a drug shop "Tamaki" in this shopping street. In Tamaki-san's building, there was a signboard of the famous women's drug "Nakashoyu" sold at Tsumura Juntendo.

IMG_7415tcomp.JPG

In the Edo era, there were many doctors in this Yakken drilling, and during the Tenpo era, a Dutch medical school "Wada Juku" was established, making it the birthplace of Juntendo University.

Next, we asked about the events in this area.

The Higashinihombashi and Genbori Shotenkai have various events, but they are said to be held around the 28th of every month, which is the fair of Yagenbori Fudoin.

Famous at the event are "Yagenbori Mobile Shopping Street" and "Yagenbori no Toshinoichi". IMG_7770coltcomp.JPGThis year's "12th Yagenbori Moving Shopping Street" was held on Friday, October 29 and 30 (Sat).

(Miss Chuo) Yagenbori Shopping Street. JPGEvents and wagon sales in front of Yagenbori Fudoin were held.Chuo-kuTourist ambassadors, Miss Chuo, are also coming to support us.

It is said that "Yagenbori no Toshinoichi" will be held 42 times, but it will be held for three days from December 27 (Mon) to 30 (Wed).

IMG_4804coltcomp.JPGIn December, Toshinoichi in Tokyo, which sells New Year's goods, began visiting Fukagawa Hachiman in December and visiting Asakusa Kannon, Kanda Myojin, Yushima Tenjin, etc.

Finally, it is paid at "Yagenbori Fudoin's Toshinoichi", so it is called "Yagenbori no Toshinoichi".

In the past, Hagoita used to go around, but recently it has disappeared.

It seems that the New Year's goods market was also called the so-called "gasa city", and "Yagenbori no Toshiichi" was opened around 1975, with 200 stores opening and overflowing until Kiyosugi-dori.

IMG_4805tcolcomp.JPGRecently, it seems that there is an "Odekoichi" that sells clothing and other items at a disqualified value by asking wholesalers for cooperation. .

IMG_7730coltcomp.JPGThe Yagenbori district is also the birthplace of the talk, and every month, the Yagenbori fair talk meeting is held at Fudoin Hondo Hall on the 28th of Fudoin fair. I'd like to say it once.

⑤ Finally, we asked about the revitalization of the store association in the future.

As the first step in the revitalization plan, we regard the six-way road near Yagenbori Fudoin as a landmark of this store association.

It seems that only the road at the intersection is planned to color "Edo-purple".

(The design drawings and image drawings created by the contractor were brought from home and explained.)

It seems to be a collaboration with the Tokyo Sky Tree's night lighting color "Edo-purple". It seems to also play a role in accessing Yakken Domoin.

In addition, on the nearby sidewalk, there are many pillars with golden upper part similar to the pillars of Daimon in the Edo period, and it seems to produce the gorgeousness of the Edo style .

It seems that the goal is to be completed in September next year (2011), or a new landmark will be created and will play a role in the evolution and revitalization of the region.

[Report]

It was like a standing story at the sales floor, but Chairman Ozaki saw Edokko, a religious festival lover.

During the interview, I heard a conversation with a familiar customer who seemed to be shopping at the shop and a person who came to the shop for consultation at the town council or a ceremonial occasion, and it was very reliable I felt that it was a fun being.

I believe that we will be able to demonstrate our strength in revitalizing the Higashinihombashi Yagenbori Store Association.

IMG_7755tcolcomp.JPGDuring the interview, a grandmother in the neighborhood who came to buy puppet ware with a small grandchild ... I felt the connection of residents of the good old days.

(In the photo, the person who responds to customers is Chairman Ozaki.)

I bought Kibundo's Seven Lucky Gods doll grilled, chestnut wapples and others. It was not so sweet with crushed bean paste (an), white bean paste, and koshi bean paste, and the wrapped skin was firm and delicious.

Thank you for responding to this time when you are busy preparing for the end of the “Delivery Year's Market”.

Yagenbori: In 1645, the Tokugawa Shogunate's Yonekura `` Yanokura '' with a large moat was created, but it was burned down by the fire in 1698, a part of the moat remained, the bottom was V-shaped and shallow, and the shape of `` Yaken '' It is said that it became the place name of "Yagenbori" because it resembled.

Where the moat went out to the Sumida River, "Moto Yanagibashi" was built. Since "Yanagibashi" was created in the Kanda River, it seems that "origin" came to be called.

At present, it is Omotoyama Kawasakidaishi Hirama-ji Tokyo Betsuin, and has long been known as Edo San Ofudo along with Meguro and Mejiro.

◎Correspondent Visit to Shopping Street (11th)◎

Redevelopment is crowded / Nihonbashi Muromachi/Honmachi Store Association

We interviewed Nihonbashi Muromachi and Honmachi Store Association.
The chairman of the store association is President Hashimoto of the long-established kappo dish "Toyoda", but this interview was not convenient and we interviewed the secretariat Taketo Kamibayashi.
Mr. Kamibayashi is also the editor-in-chief of the monthly "Nihonbashi", loves the Nihonbashi area, and is more familiar with this surrounding situation than anyone else.
1.jpg

Q.First of all, please tell me the area of the shopping street.
A. Nihonbashi Muromachi 1-chome to 4-chome and Honmachi 1-chome to 4-chome
I guess it's a relatively wide area as a shopping street.
2.png

Q.Please tell us about the history and origin of the shopping street.
A.It may seem surprising, but the history of Nihonbashi Muromachi / Honmachi Store Association was still short and started in 2007 for the fourth year.
There are many long-established stores in this area, such as "Mitsukoshi", and it is often thought that the history as a shopping street is long, but it is not surprising.
When renewing by burying telephone poles on Muromachi Nakadori, I think that it was around 2004 that the "Muromachi 1-chome / Honmachi 1-chome Store Association" was established as a recipient of a subsidy from Chuo-ku. These two organizations developed and resolved in June 2007, expanded the area to 4-chome each, and started the Nihonbashi Muromachi / Honmachi Store Association.

Q.What kind of activities have you been doing so far?

A.The meeting is held about once every two months. We use the meeting room of Shimizu Corporation, a member of the store association.
The activities are still new as a shopping street, so we first gave lectures and publicity activities.
For example, we distributed a pocket-sized guide map called "Nihonbashi pictorial map" at member stores. This was very popular, and it was out of stock soon. (I'll give you a souvenir.)

4.jpg 3.jpg

Q.What are the characteristics of the shopping street?
A.After all, I think there are many long-established stores. For example, "Ninben", "Yamamoto Nori", "Civilizationdo", "Kiya", "Shigeru", "Senbikiya", etc. are all familiar shops.
In addition, since this neighborhood is also an office district, I think it is characterized by the fact that there are many stores for business workers.
Currently, there are 78 stores that have joined the store association, but there are still many food and drink related by industry.
Some customers are elderly people who are aiming for shopping at long-established stores, but we can't say about the customer base. men and women of all ages has been supported by many customers.

6.jpg

5.jpg

Q.Please tell us about your plans for future activities.
A."COREDO Muromachi" opened on October 28 opposite Mandarin, and four large buildings are planned to be built in the redevelopment of Nihonbashi Muromachi east area, so the flow of people will change significantly.
As redevelopment is progressing at a rapid pace, I would like to firmly capture the intentions of local stores.
In addition, next year will be the 100th anniversary of the Nihonbashi Bridge, and it seems that various events are planned, so I would like to cooperate so that the local shopping street can be as exciting as possible. Nevertheless, it is a store association with a short history and there are still many issues, and it is undeniable that it will take a little longer to become a positive awareness of holding hands and contributing to the local community. It may not be.

◎Correspondent Visit to Shopping Street (10th)◎

There are plenty of events all year round /Tsukishima Nishinaka Kyoueikai Shopping Street Promotion Association

Tsukishima Nishinakadori Shopping Street, commonly known as Monja Street, is crowded with many people whenever you visit.

We talked to Shotaro Kobayashi, President of the Tsukishima Nishinaka Kyoueikai Shopping Street Promotion Association, who supports the behind the scenes, and Kosaku Murata, Vice President. Mr. Murata is also the president of the Tsukishima Monja Promotion Association Cooperative.

PA060092.JPG  PA060093.JPG

Tsukishima Nishinakadori Shopping Street. The roofed arcade makes it easy to walk, and the road is clean so shopping is fun.

Mr. Kobayashi (the owner of the interior shop on the left) and Mr. Murata (the owner of Monjaya).

Q: First of all, please tell us about the history and structure of the shopping street.

A: Around 1950 (1950), open-air and stalls began to line up. At that time, food and daily necessities such as fresh fish were mainly sold, and were used by local residents and people working in surrounding factories.

The number and types of stores gradually increased, and the association was founded in 1963. While growing as a shopping street, when Tsukishima Station on the Subway Yurakucho Line was opened in 1988 (1988), customers came not only from the local area but also from various places. Just the same year, the roof of the shopping street arcade was renovated into a neat design and stubborn one, allowing you to enjoy shopping without worrying about rain, wind and sunshine.

Also, since that time, there have been an increase in requests from customers to "I want to eat Monja when I go to Tsukishima", and shops where I can eat Monja were born one after another.

Q: Please tell me the scale and structure of the shopping street.

A: There are currently 128 stores lined up between about 500 meters along Nishinaka-dori, which extends straight. From the north, it is named 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and "11 (Toichi) Association (1st), Futamorikai (2nd)", "20th (3rd) "and" Showakai (4th Street) "support their activities. Nearly half of all stores are Monja stores.

Q: What kind of customers do you have?

A: 70% are women. On weekends, there are still many families, and you can often see them surrounding the monja iron plate in three generations.

It is popular among students on school excursions during the daytime on weekdays, 90% of which are junior high school students. From Aomori to Kyushu, about 30,000 students come annually from all over the country. The Tsukishima Nishinaka-dori shopping street is safe, straight and easy to understand, making it perfect for students to walk around freely. The teachers are also safe.

On the other hand, on weekday nights, everyone who works in Ginza, Marunouchi, Odaiba, etc. takes a detour after work and heals fatigue while filling the stomach. If you come to Tsukishima, you will be relieved of the tension in the office district, and you can enjoy it with a much less budget than the downtown area, so it has become particularly popular recently.

Q: Do you have any services in the shopping district?

A: We hold a surprise sale on the 27th of every month, the fair of Tsukishima Kannon. You can buy popular products from each store at a reasonable price. Also, if you make a happy card, you will earn points every time you shop regularly, so you will enjoy it.

 PA080092 (3). JPG Happy card

Q: Please tell me the event information.

A: We are planning a variety of events throughout the year. bean-throwing ceremony in February, Flower Festival in April, Cherry Festival in June (Co-sponsored with Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, Cherry Seeds Skipping Tournament!) Tsukishima Kusa City in July, Midori City in October, Toshi City in December, etc. By the way, as the Tsukishima Monja Promotion Association Cooperative, we hold a thank you fair in spring and autumn. At the thank you fair, lottery where you can win overseas travel tickets etc. is popular. You can draw lots until 10 p.m., so please join us.

Now, let's introduce some of the best event information we obtained in this interview.

<Yoridori Midori City>

October 11 (Monday, noon to 5:00 pm). It's a system where you buy tickets in advance, so children can enjoy it.

PA070104.JPG<60th Anniversary of Tsukishima Kannon>

October 17 (Sun). Tsukishima Kannon in the shopping street seems to be a statue of Zenkoji Temple. This year, there is a commemorative event for the 60th anniversary, and a child procession is scheduled.

<Monja Festival>

November 14 (Sun). The parade will be held twice at 12:30 and 14:30 to coincide with the song of Monja. What kind of dance will each ream perform for the victory? The autumn pre-festival will be held on November 14th. The main festival will be held on March 20 and 21 next year, so please begging here too.

PA080092.JPG

What the dancers have in hand is a monja no peel!

In addition, Nishinaka-dori Shopping Street is also popular as a running tournament and bicycle tour path to the coming season, and it seems that everyone in the shopping street prepares barley tea etc. to support participants .

Q: Finally, please give me a word.

A: The Tsukishima Nishinaka Kyoueikai Shopping District Promotion Association is engaged in various activities to revitalize the shopping district and the area. The severe situation surrounding the shopping district is reported daily in the news, etc., but at Tsukishima Nishinakadori Shopping Street, we plan various events throughout the year, welcome customers from all over the country, including school excursion students, shopping and eating and drinking I enjoy it. Monja has become quite famous, but from now on, I would like to send it to the world as "I want to fly to the world."

Since I live in Tsukuda next to Tsukishima, I often go to Nishinakadori Shopping Street, but I have the best conditions for enjoying shopping while walking slowly, such as a size of about 500 meters. Perfect for guiding family and friends who come to play. Enjoy your time with peace of mind from children to the elderly. In addition to Monja, there are various shops such as general stores, food stores, liquor stores, florists, etc., and all daily necessities are available here! You can go casually, visit according to the event, or feel free to come many times.

Last but not least, Mr. Kobayashi, Mr. Murata, thank you very much for your busy schedule.

◎Correspondent's visit to the shopping street (9th) ◎ Merchant soul "Always thank, always reward" "No prosperity without gathering people"! / Ningyocho Shopping Street Cooperative

"Always thank you, always rewarding" "No prosperity without gathering people"!

/ Ningyocho Shopping Street Cooperative

A number of long-established stores have been newly added, and we visited the Ningyocho Shopping Street Cooperative, which currently has 206 members, and interviewed Vice President Minamitani.

    Vice President Minamitani. JPG

Ningyocho Shopping Street has a long history, and in 1908, a union organization called "Shoseikai" was formed ahead of the world, and based on the "always thanks, always rewarding" of the merchant soul inherited from the Edo era, Founded a union in 1956. The philosophy of the shopping street is that there is no prosperity without gathering people, and while preserving the culture and traditions of Edo so that many people can gather, they always think and implement new things. One of the reasons why the shopping district is lively is that the young organization is solid, and the Sansuikai was formed in 1974, and about 70 people are currently planning and executing events. At the age of 50, it seems that he will not be a member and will be a supporter, but since Edokko with a personality-in-law are playing a lot, many events such as Setono City, Tenten Festival and Ningyo Market will be exciting I think.happy01

Among the many long-established stores, Hatsune of the sweet shop has been running since the Edo period of Tempo 8 (1837), and as with the shop of Vice President Minamitani, there are many long-established stores in Meiji period that have been founded, and the kind hospitality and delicious taste that have been passed down from generation to generation, make it a nostalgic and relieved that you can never come. Ningyocho-dori, where the shopping street is located, was maintained last year, and the sidewalk expanded by 30 cm, making it a non-slip and easy-to-walk granite. The history of Ningyocho Shopping Street and the nostalgic streets of the past can be listed in "New Edition Nihonbashi Ningyocho", so if you are interested, please purchase it at a bookstore. (3,500 yen)

After the “newcomers” set in Ningyocho was broadcast nationwide, many families and young people from all over Japan will visit the “newcomers location tour” to stroll around the shops they saw on TV. It seems that you will see it. The "shopping map", which is convenient for first-time visitors, is distributed free of charge at member stores and can be downloaded from the website, so please use it. http://www.ningyocho.or.jp/

Many people are waiting for an hour to see both of the two Karakuri towers on Ningyocho-dori, so recently, every 30 minutes in addition to just the time from 11:00 to 19:00 It seems that the mechanism is moving. The Karakuri Ogura is also perfect for the atmosphere of Ningyocho, but I think that the worries of such shopping streets are also a story like Ningyocho. The town fire extinguisher tower can be seen by ladder rides and makiage while listening to tree singing songs in the costumes and wear of the "Hagumi" under the jurisdiction. The Edo Rakugo Ogura is a live voice of Danyuki Tachikawa, where the creative story "The Origin of Ningyocho" flows for about 2 minutes, and you can see the streets of Edo and the townspeople. Please take a look when you come to Ningyocho.

In the coming season, Ningyogai Shopping Street is full of fun events. Children from nearby elementary schools can also participate in the event together, connect the shopping street and the children through the day experience of the shop, etc., and the children who will carry the next era can enjoy Edo culture and tradition I think that it is the uniqueness of downtown that you can get used to it. The main events are as follows, and I'm looking forward to it every year. For details, please refer to the website of Ningyocho Shopping Street.

Ningyocho Shopping Street. JPGFor the future of the shopping district, "newcomers" were very popular on national broadcasting, so we are considering tours from all over Japan, so after sightseeing such as Sky Trees, shopping and eating in Ningyocho When realized, this seems to be a big hit.

In addition, the homepage is already available in English, Korean and Chinese so that many foreigners can come, and a shopping map is being created. Ningyocho has the Toei Asakusa Line and Hakozaki Interchange, so access to Haneda Airport and Narita Airport is very convenient.

The streets of Ningyocho. JPGIt is close to Ginza and Asakusa, which are very popular with foreigners, so I think people all over the world can feel the Edo atmosphere.

I've been a newcomer for five years since I moved to this city, but I love Ningyocho, which is convenient, safe and very cozy. There are many purposes to come, such as shopping and dining, events such as Setonoichi and Ningyoichi, theater at Meijiza, visiting Suitengu, visiting Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods, visiting newcomer locations, and so on. Ningyocho Shopping Street has 206 member stores, so anyone can always find their favorite shops, so please come by all means.confident

It has 10 members of the Italian restaurant Riana, Tornare Dental Clinic, and Peacock Store.

I've come to see the Peacock Store. The manager who also serves as the chairman of the store association

I've been talking to Mr. Kazuo Sawai.

I felt care about the participating stores.

What kind of customers do you have? I would like to ask you about the relationship with local events.

At the Bon Dance Festival at Hamacho Park, you can sell sweets at a price like free to children (from 80 yen to 30 yen).

We heard that local festivals could buy lunch boxes and side dishes, and that building tenant companies would go shoppingbananaapple for lunchriceball and return home.

We also asked about the origin and meaning of the name "Tornale".

"Tornale" is Italian and means "Go home!"

In the past, the residents got along well andhousehouse it was a local pattern called neighbors.

In order to redevelop into a splendid building today, the residents with the feeling of "Let's meet again!"

It seems that it was named. I heard a good story.

The passion of interacting with local people and living together has been transmitted.

After listening to such a story, I visited a shop in stamp rally.

Dotor coffee on the first floor.

It's 200 yen regular, but before the visit, I received two cups in a row twice, but it was rich and black coffee was delicious.

Also on the first floor, Tomozu, a drugstore on the first floor, was kind to the clerk.

Hastle ramen. The hastle lunch is ¥680 for ramen, 3 gyoza, and small rice.

Well, let's go up to the restaurant on the second floor.

CIMG6472.jpg

"Rana" of Italian restaurant. Happy hour is from 16:00 to 20:00, a great time for drinks.

The drink is half price. The message "I've extended my time!" I'm glad.

The flyer I received says, "I will deliver authentic Naples Pittsia."

This flyer comes with a 10% discount coupon, and I'm glad again.happy01
