OLIVIERS & CO GINZA Olive Oil Specialty Store

[Silver] April 29, 2018 14:00

OLIVIERS & CO GINZA is a restaurant specializing in olive oil. It is a touch with an olive oil specialty store that first landed in Japan from France.

Because it is a bright and open store, I was just attracted and entered the store.

Olives from all over the world are displayed narrowly.

DSCN0710 (400x300). jpg

I heard from a kind female clerk about the benefits of olive oil.

And I made the taste of olive oil.

DSCN0712 (400x300). jpg

From the left, Fully Fruity, Floral Floral, Grasssy, and Strong are divided into stages.

By product name and production area, from the left, Pago de Penarrubia, Spain, Agrolaguna, Croatia, Fendo Disisa, Italy, L'extra verte, Spain.

Everyone, please try it.

Olive oil contains a lot of oleic acid, so it is said to be effective for anti-aging. It was said that the product at the far right end was fruited when it was green, so there were a lot of polyphenols left. (Speaking of that, I've heard that green fruits also contain Vitamin C more than ripe fruits.)

You can also enjoy LUNCH from 11:00 to 14:00, and the menu on this day is available.

☆Fish with herb grilled lattatuille, ☆Ladecchio, Creson and Sunny Lettuce Salad, ☆Soup of pea, ☆Baguette & rye bread

You can enjoy cafe time from 14:00 to 17:00 and wine from 17:00 to 21:00.

The address is 1-3-3 Ginza, Chuo-ku, GI Building 1F, facing Ginza Sakura-dori St.

Brand tableware ★Le Noble Ginza Store

[Mapo ★] April 21, 2018 09:00

At a tableware shop called Le Noble I happened to find on the net.
The Wedgwood plate is on sale.
If you were looking into where the shop was located
The main store is Kyoto, but there was a shop in Ginza!

I made a call right away and decided to go directly to buy it.
The online price is cheaper than the store.
You can buy it at the same price as the online sale price.

I asked you to reserve it, and I went there two days later.
I haven't been there very much recently.
Where lipton used to be
It seems that it opened 5 years ago.

They are not purchased from trading companies or distributors.
They are purchased directly from Western Europe.
The staff told me that I was confident in both quality and price.

I bought these three pieces!

There are also cute dishes and accessories just by looking at them.
It's a shop that you want to stop by again when you pass nearby.

If you are unsure about the gift, I'll check it out online.

A little coffee break - a story of a tool that is active in the world―

[Ino-chan] April 19, 2018 09:00

It's been a long time since coffee called Third Wave (third wave) appeared, but in recent years
I often see new cafes while walking around the town.
I feel that the tide of the new era of coffee boom has become firmly established in Japan.

_DSC5808.jpg

Recent cafes are characterized by the style of carefully brewing one cup at a time with hand drip.

I heard a voice saying, "The master of coffee shop has been doing it for a long time."
That should be the case.

The founder of the American coffee shop, which sparked the current boom, was once the founder of the American coffee shop.
It is known that he was influenced a lot by the coffee shop culture he met when he traveled to Japan.
Yes, it is.

In search of a delicious cup of coffee, traditional tools such as drippers and siphons are also available.

It has come to attract attention again.
Among them, the V60 dripper is gaining high support.

There are a number of competitions in the coffee industry, but professional barista is the one.

At the stage of international competitions, which compete for the best title in the world, contestants from various countries are also participating.

I'm using this V60.

A circular shape, a large hole, a spiral rib that extends to the top (spiral convex line),

It is certainly this shape that you often see in recent cafes.

This street is also a specialty store in Tokyo that offers specialty coffee. ※Shops in Chuo-ku

That's not true.

ONIBUS COFFEE (Onibas Coffee)
A popular shop that is also visited by tourists from overseas.
V60 is a custom order item with the store logo. Piano black is super cool.

V60 is now active in cafes and coffee stands around the world.

HARIO Co., Ltd. is making this V60 dripper.

It is a heat-resistant glass manufacturer headquartered in Nihonbashitomizawacho.
Registered Tangible Cultural Property Hario Glass Building (HARIO Building) for Chuo-ku fans.

You're familiar.

IMG_0089.JPG

The glass mug in the first photo is also HARIO's product.

It's heat-resistant, so you can pour hot coffee.

The V60 series has a wide lineup, and resin products are light and easy to handle.

You can drip directly to the cup for one person.

_DSC5709.jpg

The current coffee boom that follows the flow of good old coffee shop culture in Japan.

A part of this was supported by tools born in Chuo-ku.
Surely there are some people in the world who enjoy coffee brewed with V60 at this moment.

It must be.

With that in mind, your usual coffee may be a bit different.

The Nihonbashi Antenna Shop stamp rally, which goes around with Edo Kiri-Edo.

[Tokyo Dumbo] April 16, 2018 18:00

Buyodo is a map specialty store located on the second basement floor of the Byoo Building, facing Yaesu Kitaguchi Street, one further east of Sakura-dori St. on the east side of Nihonbashi Takashimaya, and is called "Treasure Island of Map".

 IMG_3007.jpgBuyo-do. jpg

This company was established in 2007, inheriting the publishing and bookstore sales department of Takeyodo Co., Ltd., which was founded in 1897 (Meiji 30). It seems that Takeage-do was handling Army books before the war, but since the war, he has been conducting agency work to dealers nationwide as a source of topographic maps issued by the Geographical Survey Institute.

 In-store 1.jpgIn-store 2.jpg

In addition to publishing company publications such as road maps, books and map calendars related to maps, "Ino-zu" created by Tadataka Ino, a map creator of the Edo period, as well as selling theme maps such as volcanic land conditions maps and urban active fault maps, overseas maps, housing maps and old maps, as well as selling map goods and processing panels and framed services.

Tokyo Danbo purchased a map of Chuo-ku in 1935. There are also maps that express topographic maps in 3D and mugs that print old Edo maps, and there are plenty of things you want.

stamp rally is held from April 9th (Mon) to April 28th (Sat), with seven antenna shops in the Nihonbashi area, Takashimaya, Mitsukoshi, Eitai, and ROJI.

If you go around the seven antenna shops in Yamaguchi, Shiga, Toyama, Nara, Shimane, Mie, and Fukushima along Chuo-dori across Nihonbashi, you will get a little sweets that can recover tiredness from Eitai and ROJI. You can draw lots of lottery at Buyodo.

Scan 2.jpeg

It is a fun event where you can take a short walk on Chuo-dori while comparing the cut-out map with the current map and try lottery. There are still many prizes left, so please join us and take a look.

Mr. Okazaki, Director of Buyodo, who heard this time, will continue to work on all employees to pursue their historical value, new roles, and positions without temporarily stagnating the publishing culture, especially the culture of maps. He said that he would like to focus on paper-based maps.
