Town Walking Tour “Nihonbashi Long-established Tour”

[The cat on the slope] September 24, 2010 10:10

On September 22, the last summer heat of this year, we helped with the town walking tour “Nihonbashi Long-established Tour”.

In this course, we will visit three famous long-established stores, "Ninben", "Yamamoto-noriten", and "Eitaro Sohonten" to listen to the history of the store and the story behind the products. This time, I helped with my correspondent Ken. Ken is from Kyoto, but has a deep knowledge of the history and geography of Edo, and is good at speaking, so it is encouraging.

The first house is Mr. Ninben. In Genroku 12 (1699), it was the shop in Nihonbashi that began trading bonito and dried salts with doorboards lined up. The store, which has changed its appearance with the times, will be temporarily closed on October 21 for the development of the Higashi area of Nihonbashi Muromachi, and will start operating at coredo Muromachi on October 28.

The household miniature shrine inside the store makes you feel like a long-established style.

Left: Ask them to explain the history of the shop and the manufacturing process of bonito (the bonito model is cute!)

Right: Experience the scent and taste of freshly shaved bonito (both can't be delivered on the blog!)

After that, enjoy shopping in the store. I was surprised that the soup I tasted was delicious. Moreover, I was surprised twice because I just stretched the white dashi in the bottle with hot water. Not only bonito flakes and dashi-related products, but also cooked rice ingredients are recommended.

The next one we headed was Mr. Yamamoto-noriten. Founded in 1849. The interior of the store has a large curved ceiling like the bottom of the ship, a wall reminiscent of a sail with a wind, a Shigaraki ware tiles that stylize the male cells of laver, and an image of a laver ship.

Left: The "enclosure pot" that preserves seaweed, which was used from the time of its founding until the early Meiji era.

Medium Old tools such as seaweed cans, abacus, and ledgers

Right: Photographs of advertisements modeled by Yoko Yamamoto (from 1976 to present). Mr. Yamamoto has appeared in advertisements and commercials as an image character of Yamamoto-noriten since 1967, but this is the world's longest record registered in Guinness.

After learning about the history of the shop, tasting and shopping. I wish there was a way to attach the taste and aroma of freshly baked seaweed to my blog ...

Medium You can buy the freshly baked seaweed.

Right: Kitty's seaweed is popular as a souvenir.

And last is Eitaro Sohonpo. Founded in 1857. I was told in front of the shop, but there were already a lot of highlights before entering, and as expected, a long-established store.

Left: It's fun. I often see square ones, but "Tsubaba" is a sword brim, so it is originally circular.

Medium http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/blog/assets_c/2010/09/km37-3122.html The “Tsukimi Rabbit” is a cute “Tsukimi Rabbit”

Right: You can also eat slowly in the store. Four and a half centuries ago, I was at Nihonbashi OL, and I was looking forward to having lunch here.

Well, it's time to open. Two hours have passed since I went around three shops to listen to stories and enjoyed shopping. I'm full of knowledge and stomach. The history and backstory of the store cannot be written on the blog very much, so be sure to visit each site (click the name of the store in the article to display each site).

Pasta with Oji Salmon's salmon chip!

[Mapo ★] September 24, 2010 09:15

This is also a shop I found in the Ginza 100-point booklet.
This is a salmon company of the Oji Paper Group.
Prototypes of smoke salmon began in 1964.
It seems that he established a salmon company in Hokkaido.
After all, salmon is Hokkaido!

The main store and factory are located in Hokkaido, but the headquarters is located in 3-chome in Ginza.
Also, I think there are sales offices in Osaka and Nagoya.

Every month, Ginza Hundred Points contain photos of dishes using this salmon.
The staff of the shop gave me a lot of kind explanations (*^^*)
You can also sample the tip!

R0014430.JPG R0014432.JPG

It was hot on this day, so I stopped smoked salmon and tried to make salmon chips.
This can be taken home at room temperature, and it seems easy to use.

I tried to make pasta!

R0014496.JPG R0014498.JPG

They seem to have been dismantling salmon since 2 o'clock on Thursday.
There seems to be something like a spot sale on the spot.

After that, they also sold salmon crabs.
It looks good as a souvenir for the end of the year.

Other than Tokyo, we also have sales offices in Sapporo and Osaka.
Department stores are available in Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya.

Tsukiji (I don't want to teach) The tuna pickled rice bowl is delicious and cheap.

[Silver] September 23, 2010 09:00

Tsukiji. It is a place where fish from all over the world gather.

There are many sushi restaurants inside and outside the Central Wholesale Market.

CIMG6296.jpg

It's run by a tuna shop

"Sushi Tomi," Mr.

I don't want to teach, but where is the place?

It's just about 50 meters inside Tsukiji Sushi Street on Harumi-dori St.

The beautiful red part of Indian tuna is soaked in soy sauce and served beautifully.

¥600 (as of September 15, 2010) only on weekdays and daytime. It's ¥1500 at night.

Probably, considering the taste and price, it is Japan's most valuable pickled rice bowl. Don't sell out!

CIMG6298.jpg

On weekdays, it is recommended after 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

Of course, please also enjoy the sushi recommended by the store manager.

In addition, there is a gentle and delicious menu for light wallets!eye

Ginza Karaku's kiln-baked cream puffs and baked sweets

[Mapo ★] September 14, 2010 11:00

After entering Matsuya-dori in Ginza 4-chome, it is next to the building of Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ.
A shop I found when I visited the office of the Ginza Street Federation.
It is a shop where you can enjoy a variety of French sweets.

First of all, the specialty is this kiln-baked cream puff.
It seems that they are baked in a stone kiln in the store.
Brown rice custard, apricot, matcha, figs
There are 4 kinds of cream, and if you go when it is freshly baked, you can go there.
You can fill it with cream on the spot.
It seems that it is a way of eating that can only be done in Ginza Karaku.

R0014575.JPG R0014577.JPG

It was not freshly baked, so I ordered it normally.
I made brown rice custard.
Cream cream puff, brown rice flour flavored umai (*^^*)
The surface is not as hard as Cookie Shoo, and it has a crispy texture.
I don't like very hard Shoo skin.
This kind of crispy is just right and delicious.

R0014593.JPG R0014592.JPG

I took out some baked goods.
The spiral pie is also fragrant.
And his favorite Duckworth,
Is the sample a little too moist? I thought it was
What I took out was good with almonds, crispy and delicious.

R0014607.JPG R0014610.JPG

And this is a baked confection called Macaron Damiens.
It seems that it was before Macaron was introduced from Italy.
This macaron was born in the ancient capital of Amian in northern France.
Write Macarons d'Amiens.

It's all right outside. When you chew it, it looks like a nugger.
I prefer cookies, so this is also delicious!
It was 480 yen for 6 pieces.

There seems to be a cake class, so I'd like to go there once~★

Here too, I publicized the correspondent and the radio, and received permission to shoot (* ^^ *)

Tsukiji Pickledtei, recommended by Ginzo fish shop in Tsukiji

[Silver] September 14, 2010 11:00

CIMG6279.jpg

Tsukiji River Park at Tsukiji 7-chome

Where you entered the alley between Minoriya

It is called "Tsukiji Pickledtei".

A shop that sells fish fillets has opened.

When I asked a young owner, "Do you want to bake?", They are happy and bake them on a seven-wheeled charcoal fire.

CIMG6280.jpg

There are delicious fillets lined up.

It's the same price.

Today, I took home the grilled silver cod fillet and enjoyed it.

The article and price are very reasonable.

CIMG6281.jpg

At home, baking is very recommended for those who avoid fish dishes because there is smoke indoors.

Business hours are from 17:00 to 20:00.

Market holidays, weekends and holidays

I'm absent.

It's delicious. happy01

"Lindt Chocolat Cafe Linz Chocolat Cafe"

[Satsuki Yanagi] September 8, 2010 11:40

lindt4.jpg"Lindt Linz Chocolate" was born in Switzerland in 1845.

I understand that some of you know the packages you see at department stores and international supermarkets.

lindt2.jpgFrom the "Lindt Linz Chocolate", a cafe that was only found in Australia in the world until now was born in Ginza.

lindt5.jpg

We told him that he was a correspondent of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association, and received permission to shoot.

There is a sales corner and a cafe corner inside the store.

At the cafe, you can enjoy Sweets such as cakes and drinks made with Linz chocolate, as well as waffles and snacks.

A set of cakes that can be selected from the showcase in the store and drinks that can be selected from the menu.

"Lorraine-style kish,"

There are three other types of kish.

lindt13.jpg

Both the "Cake & Drink" set and the "Light meal (slight meal) & Drink" set are cheaper than ordering individually! !

I came to you late in the afternoon, so the type of cake in the showcase was decreasing.

We had a "Cake & Drink" set.

"Milk Chocolate Shake" (normal 1/2 size), "Strawberry & Mango Verine (with glass)" and "Wimbledon".

I'm very happy that the drink comes with Petit Pralinee Chocolat!

lindt34.jpglindt33.jpg

The cake is made carefully and has a high-quality taste.

Is the shake blended with vanilla ice cream?

It's full of vanilla beans, but it's smooth and easy to drink, and I liked the first and second most chocolate drinks!

In addition to cakes and chocolates, various things are sold in the store.
