In memory of his late friend...@ Grill Switzerland

Today, September 26th is the birthday of a 30-year-old best friend who died terrorism in New York, USA 14 years ago.

On this day, I'm a friend from high school, and I'm going to mourn by eating Katsu curry that he liked. Nowadays, there are various places where everyone works and places where they live, so each eats cutlet curry in various ways in their favorite places.

After a long time, I visited Grill Switzerland (Ginza 3-5-16) and decided to remember my late friend by having the famous "katsu curry".

There is a shop located on the Yurakucho side of Ginza 3-chome, Chuo-dori, one street.

Roofs with white and red lines (?) It is a small shop with a landmark. (I forgot to take a picture of the exterior....)

Even after 12 o'clock, I was alone in the store, which was vacant except for me, so I decided to sit in the counter seat facing the wall.

 

As is the case at the last visit, the standard "Chiba-san's cutlet curry" was born from the word "Please put a tonkatsu on curry" of Mr. Chiba's number 3 of the giant in front of Mr. Nagashima. Or "W cutlet curry" with a service discount at lunch time, I'm wondering if you want to do it.

So, just like the last time, I ordered a W cutlet curry and a medium bottle of beer. (I remember that I regretted that it was better to ask for a small bottle instead of a medium bottle last time (laughs).)

In a small store, the voice of the clerk's female order resonates.

 

The soup that looks like this potage is brought after the beer bottle and glass.

This is not a potage, but a soup that dilutes the thickness of the cream stew white sauce and tastes it. It's pretty good. However, it is quite hot, so you need to be careful when you have it (laughs).

While having hot soup and a little more beer, the main W cutlet curry is now available!

One is completely hidden in the sauce, but there are two well-lifted cutlets (this is "W").

As it is fried well, the cutlet is kept crisp even if curry sauce is applied. It's good!

Curry sauce is a sauce with almost no vegetables or meat in shape, which you can see that it has been boiled over time. It's a sauce that insists on its existence, as if it's not too spicy and not too sweet, or as if it's a cutlet you ride. We have a good taste.

 

While doing so, customers can come in constantly. Most of the men and women were alone.

Despite the middle of Ginza, it feels like a relaxing time flows. Soak in the afterglow of cutlet curry that has been flat in no time.

 

As mentioned above, the restaurant's stay time is almost 30 minutes. We enjoyed the very delicious cutlet curry and the tasteful atmosphere of the store, dedicated it to a late friend, and left the store.

 

For a while, it's a good idea to attack with a gourmet report (laughs). Thank you very much for your feast.

 

 

 

I feel like autumn in Afternoon Tea

Since Chuo-ku is a "treasure trove of food", you can always touch various tastes in the city. I'm looking forward to the "taste tour" in the city in the coming season.

 

In order to enjoy the calm autumn mood, I enjoyed "Afternoon Tea" at the 38th floor [Oriental Lounge] near Mitsukoshimae Station in Nihonbashi. Just this day was my birthday, so I was able to feel rich.

 

When I visited the shop, people who spent gracefully in the soft afternoon sun seemed to blend into the scenery. Occasionally, I think it would be nice to have such a luxurious time.

Furthermore, the lineup of tea is wonderful. Not only classics such as Ceylon and Earl Gray, but also seasonal original teas are substantial, so you can feel comfortable relaxing by the scent of black tea.

Have you ever been to the Japanese black beef specialty store "Ushiyuki Honten"? Business working in the Shinkawa area

Isn't the man a shop I've been to once? I run with my colleagues on weekdays

I headed to the store 10 minutes before the start of business (11:30), but there was already a long queue ...

Before entering the store, I realized that it was a popular store!

There are only two types of lunch menu. Choose a sukiyaki or a hamburger. Wagyu hamburger

It was limited to 30 meals! I chose the sukiyaki set meal, but I didn't think it was a lunch.

I forgot that work was waiting for a while in the afternoon. Laugh. What's more for rice?

Free. There is a sherbet after the meal, and the price is 1,000 yen. I would like to use it at night next time.

The location is 1-9-8 Shinkawa, Chuo-ku. The nearest station is Tokyo Metro Kayabacho, but walking from the station is 5 or 6.

The ancestor of Ginza Wakamatsu that I want to eat at the main store

It is sometimes sold at events in the basement of Depa.
Ginza Wakamatsu, the birthplace of anmitsu.
The main store is located on the first floor of the core building in Ginza 5-chome.

A long-established soup powder shop founded in 1894.
And it seems that anmitsu was born in Ginza Wakamatsu in 1930.

There were also Kokura An, Matcha and Cream Anmitsu.

Azuki beans, peas, agar, black honey and ingredients and production areas.
It seems that he is very particular about it.

Actually, I'm not good at grain bean paste, so I love koshi bean paste.

I didn't go to eat because I thought it was a grainy all the time (laughs).

I'm glad that there is an anmitsu with koshi bean paste!
In addition, the koshi bean paste on Wakamatsu's anmitsu is exceptional.

The throat is smooth, and the texture is so thin that you are surprised.
It was not persistent, but it was moist, and it was an exquisite koshi bean paste.

I wanted to buy only the bean paste and go home.

Ginger syrup shaved ice limited to Ginza Main Store

Confiture e Provence, which I've introduced on the correspondent blog before.
At that time, I wrote an article about Ginger syrup and baked goods in Ginza, which are signboard products.

This time, I went to the cafe of the main store, which is also limited to the main store.

There was also a menu called shaved ice in August.
I was attracted to "Amaouto Shimizu Hakuto" and ordered it.

It is said that it was developed exclusively for shaved ice.
There is a milk ginger syrup.
I put the confiture in the bottle there at my own pace
I'm going to eat it.

 

Confitures originally mean the same as jam, but they're not sure.
You can pickle this confiture fruit with a syrup.
It's boiled and smoother than jam.

Ice will sink a little when put on the confiture.
It is fluffy and ice using water selected as one of the 100 best waters in Heisei.

 

Milk is rich, and ginger's pungency stimulates sweating action.
And the freshness and sweetness of the fruit are combined.
It's like an adult shaved ice.

This is shaved ice of bananas and mango confiture.
The chandelier in the bottle of ginger syrup is also cute!

[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #10: Beginning of long-established eating (Nihonbashi Ningyocho)

This time, it's a long time ago, but it's an introduction to my home Chibi's 100th anniversary of the first meal.

Mommy friend made a wonderful meal at the beginning of the meal, but for me a little bit of a stuffy....(^^;)

But I want to give you an anniversary...And I want to eat feast too!

 

That's why I asked for a meal at Ningyocho Imahan at the beginning of eating.

 

I made a reservation at lunch time on Saturday and visited with three parents and children.

You will be guided to a private room on the second floor, where there is also a bouncer.

Even with a baby, I was able to calm down and relax without worrying about the surroundings.

Chibi-chan only imitates eating, so these were later delicious by our adults.

I understand the meaning of each ingredient, so I gave it carefully.◎

I'm still holding my child about 100 days after birth, so can I honestly eat calmly? ? I thought it was, but the shop gave me all meat and vegetables on a small plate, so I was able to have the best meat just by looking at it.

 

I think Suitengu may be close, but as expected, a long-established store

It was a really thorough customer service that was kind to children, and it was perfect for spending an important day.
