The 15th Genji Firefly Watching Party, a firefly born in Ginza-Genkichoan Ginza Main Store-

DSC01732b.jpgThe Genji Firefly Watching Party is also being held this year at Soke Minamoto Kichoan Ginza Main Store, a Japanese confectionery that opens a new frontier in the "Fruit Confectionery Nature Series".

Last year's viewing party was also introduced, but this year it will be from Monday, June 4 to 10 (Sun).

 

You can watch from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 The last day of the 10th is until 8 p.m.

It is held at the special venue on the second floor of Ginza Main Store. Admission is free.

 

This time, I was also taken care of by Watanabe Manager of Soke Genkichichoan Ginza Main Store.

 

This firefly viewing party has been held since 2004 and is the 15th this year.

Genyoshi Soke raised the fireflies eggs born during last year's viewing party in the nature of Okayama by himself.

One year later, this time, it is a genuine "Ginza-born fireflies" who have returned to their hometown Ginza as an adult.

Before the opening to the public on the first day of the event, we specially interviewed the venue.

Cross in front of the showcase on the first floor of the shop, take the elevator on the back left to the second floor.

An oversized insect cage is installed in the special venue where the lights are turned off.

You can watch fireflies that glow up close.

About 600 of them are majestic.

Fireflies, the light of life for about two weeks is flashing.

I guess Ginza once had reached such early summer.

This year's firefly light was ephemeral, strict, and very beautiful.

Last year, the number of visitors was about 1,000 in seven days.

Every year, it seems that there are many people returning from work on weekdays and couples and families on weekends.

Especially on weekends, there is a line outside the shop.

This year, it is expected to be so popular that visitors to the venue will be restricted.

 

 This firefly viewing party is a firefly, so the exhibition period cannot be held for a long time.

  Please enjoy it as soon as possible.

 

In line with this event, there are special events on each floor of this building.

There is a drink service here on the second floor.

We have a cold lemon drink.

On the first floor, Soke Genkichichoan will sell a limited product of Japanese sweets, "Ginza Fireflies".

In the red bean yokan that represents the dark night, it is a candy inspired by fireflies that faintly glow with white red beans.

Although it is not unique to Japan, it is now popular all over the world as a Japanese dish.

Of course, there are a lot of hot ramen shops in Ginza, a stylish city.
This time, the Michelin Guide was recommended by gourmet acquaintances.
Bib Gulman listed stores (applicable to shops that are delicious for less than 5,000 yen per meal even though there are no stars)
I would like to introduce "Mugito Olive Ginza Store".

It was just on the famous guide, and by the time I went straight to work, there was already a line....!

It's a ramen shop, but it has an appearance that even has the atmosphere of a stylish Italian restaurant.
I saw many women returning from work and foreigners.
And because the rotation is relatively fast, you can enter the store without waiting so much!

Looking next to the meal ticket machine, I found a Michelin-listed proof.
Although it's Bibleman, the Michelin store has been since Hatchobori noodles and Nanasai (popular for handmade noodles), so looking at this will increase your expectations!

I ordered Clam SOBA, one of the signboard menus.
It is a luxurious dish that uses plenty of clams sent directly from Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, without regretting.

After seating, wait while having fun pre-study with "Mugi Ori SOBA delicious way to eat" and "Olive oil story" provided on the table.
Apparently, chicken oil extracted from Oyama chicken is floated on the surface of SOBA.
It seems that if you mix while pushing the soup at the bottom of the lotus, it will blend well with the soup and will be in good balance.
 
In addition, the noodles are original developed jointly with the long-established noodle shop "Noodle shop Ikugaku" in Kyoto, founded in 1931, and use more than 20 kinds of flour in Hokkaido alone, and it seems to be a discerning finish that emphasizes compatibility with soups and ingredients.

Toppings are fried with low-temperature chicken char siu, trefoil, and olive oil.
Fried domestic yam, seaweed, and clam!
The low-temperature chicken char siu had a moderate moist feeling without crunchy.
The reason is that it is prepared by vacuum low-temperature cooking, which is famous as a cooking technique for French cuisine.

After receiving two-thirds, I enjoyed the change in taste by adding "Echarot oil" made of olive oil.
It was my first time to put olive oil in ramen, but the taste of the ingredients did not fight.
And they were creating new harmony with each other.
Olive oil makes it difficult to attach neutral fat and reduces skin problems.
It's also nice to have a lot of health and beauty effects.

The soup was also made with a lot of time and effort, so it was a delicious SOBA that was particular about soup, noodles, toppings and everything!
When a friend who loves ramen from overseas comes to play, it is a shop that we definitely want to show you.

Hakutsuru Ginza Style (HAKUTSURU GINZA STYLE), who always introduces seminars, is located in the Tokyo branch office building of Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. headquartered in Kobe.

On May 28 (Monday), at the Hakutsuru Ginza Style, a sake party was held to commemorate the release of "Hakuzuru Ginza Tenku no Sake" for media officials.

As part of disseminating sake, Hakutsuru Sake Brewery has created “Hakutsuru Ginza Tenku Farm” as a project to make rice on the roof of the Tokyo branch office building since 2007, and cultivated its own developed rice “Hakutsuru Nishiki”. I am working on it.

In order to develop excellent sake rice, the breeding of Hakutsuru Nishiki was started to elucidate the excellent characteristics of Yamada Nishiki, the best varieties of sake rice, and to develop even better sake rice.

In 1995, we started crossing the variety "Wataribune", the father of Yamada Nishiki, and the mother "Yamadabo", and registered the excellent variety as "Hakutsuru Nishiki" in 2007.

Next, Mr. Shota Takao, Hakutsuru Ginza Tenku Farm, explained and reported on the history of Hakutsuru Ginza Tenku Farm and this year's "Sake of Hakutsuru Ginza Tenku Farm".

As a year of Tenku Farm from the perspective of 25-year-old Takao, he talked about the difficulties of managing the growth of rice and the fight against the "city sparrow" trying to eat the ears that grew.

And the sake rice harvested last year is about 50 kg.

The sake rice made from here is said to have been highly evaluated at the Hachioji test site.

First of all, this sake is served from Mr. Takao.

It is said that "soft and fresh taste".
