A little coffee break - a story of a tool that is active in the world―

[Ino-chan] April 19, 2018 09:00

It's been a long time since coffee called Third Wave (third wave) appeared, but in recent years
I often see new cafes while walking around the town.
I feel that the tide of the new era of coffee boom has become firmly established in Japan.

_DSC5808.jpg

Recent cafes are characterized by the style of carefully brewing one cup at a time with hand drip.

I heard a voice saying, "The master of coffee shop has been doing it for a long time."
That should be the case.

The founder of the American coffee shop, which sparked the current boom, was once the founder of the American coffee shop.
It is known that he was influenced a lot by the coffee shop culture he met when he traveled to Japan.
Yes, it is.

In search of a delicious cup of coffee, traditional tools such as drippers and siphons are also available.

It has come to attract attention again.
Among them, the V60 dripper is gaining high support.

There are a number of competitions in the coffee industry, but professional barista is the one.

At the stage of international competitions, which compete for the best title in the world, contestants from various countries are also participating.

I'm using this V60.

A circular shape, a large hole, a spiral rib that extends to the top (spiral convex line),

It is certainly this shape that you often see in recent cafes.

This street is also a specialty store in Tokyo that offers specialty coffee. ※Shops in Chuo-ku

That's not true.

ONIBUS COFFEE (Onibas Coffee)
A popular shop that is also visited by tourists from overseas.
V60 is a custom order item with the store logo. Piano black is super cool.

V60 is now active in cafes and coffee stands around the world.

HARIO Co., Ltd. is making this V60 dripper.

It is a heat-resistant glass manufacturer headquartered in Nihonbashitomizawacho.
Registered Tangible Cultural Property Hario Glass Building (HARIO Building) for Chuo-ku fans.

You're familiar.

IMG_0089.JPG

The glass mug in the first photo is also HARIO's product.

It's heat-resistant, so you can pour hot coffee.

The V60 series has a wide lineup, and resin products are light and easy to handle.

You can drip directly to the cup for one person.

The current coffee boom that follows the flow of good old coffee shop culture in Japan.

A part of this was supported by tools born in Chuo-ku.
Surely there are some people in the world who enjoy coffee brewed with V60 at this moment.

It must be.

With that in mind, your usual coffee may be a bit different.

"Beauty of Ke" Exhibition (Pola Muge Am Annex) GPP

[GPP] January 2, 2018 16:00

The "Ke no Beauty" exhibition was held on the 3rd floor of the Paula Ginza Building on Ginza Chuo-dori until December 24, 2017 (Sun).

01_.jpg

"K" is a word that you can't hear very much, but the contrasting "Hale" is a common word. Like sunny clothes, celebration and special events are "Hare". On the other hand, the very natural thing that is repeated every day is called "ke".

This exhibition was a collection of 14 famous "Ke no Beauty" on the road. Things that symbolize "beauty of Ke" for that person and sentences that spelled their thoughts on the beauty of Ke were displayed.

One of them, the beauty of Ken, one of the samurai Koji Senke's former site, Tsutsumi Sensoya, is said to be...

02.jpg

For the general public, the tea ceremony is no longer a "hale". It's a special event like tying your hair from the morning, wearing a kimono, and looking forward to it....。

On the other hand, Sooku Sen is the successor of the tea ceremony house, so the tea ceremony is everyday = "ke" time. However, the time to make tea at the milestone of the day was a special thing for Sooku Sen, "Hare in Ke". The one that symbolizes the beauty of the moment is the tea whisk in the photo.

Photography was free at the venue, so it is a part of the following.

04.jpg

05.jpg

06.jpg

I saw the beauty of each of the 14 people and noticed it, but I see....It was just something I could sympathize with.

At this time, I suddenly remembered Kinkaku-ji Temple and Ginkaku-ji Temple, which are popular for sightseeing in Kyoto. The glittering Kinkaku is also good, but I feel that it is good to see the contrasting appearance of the Ginkaku and the moss-grown garden. (It seems that there are quite a few people who like Ginkakuji better....。) The empathy and comfort that I felt in "beauty" may be a little similar to that of such things....I thought it.

By the way, next time at Pola Muge Am Annex, the exhibition "Materials & Methods" will be held from Friday, January 19, 2018 ~ Grace Tan "Materials & Methods". You can enter until 19:30 at night, so why not stop by?

Arashio's sumo wrestlers take rice cake making and sumo wrestling at Tsukishima Daiichi Kindergarten in Chuo-ku.

[Sakura is good] December 26, 2017 14:00

Speaking of the only sumo room in Chuo-ku, "Arashio Room". It is located near Kiyomasa Koji Temple, Hamacho Park. At this time of December, he goes around kindergartens in Chuo-ku to make rice cakes. rice cake making has been in public kindergartens at Akashi Kindergarten, Tsukishima Kindergarten, and Tsukishima Daiichi Kindergarten since 2007 (there are no private kindergartens in Chuo-ku). It's amazing. It is a valuable experience opportunity for children to have the sumo wrestlers make rice cakes and touch each other. It is wonderful that "Arashio Room" is actively playing an active part in the community so that sumo, which is a traditional Japanese sport, can be popular with infants.

Tsukishima Daiichi Kindergarten Mochitsuki Party We interviewed on December 19, 2017.

The senior group sharpened 15 go of glutinous rice from the day before mochi.

"It's white than usual rice! It's round! "I'm interested in the shape and color of the rice. It seems that some children have practiced rice sharpening at home. Looking at the sharpening juice, "It's like a Calpis! Hold it tightly and sharpen it. " Now I'm ready for rice cake making tomorrow! "The smell of rice cakes has come," and expectations for rice cake making tomorrow seem to have expanded greatly. rice cake making rice cake is about 8 hours new rice, so it is important to soak it in water from the day before.

1513855953057.jpg 1513855950352.jpg

Steamed rice cake crushed. The rice at the edge of the mortar is carefully crushed so that the mochi rice does not jump out with a pestle. rice cake making, the professional skill that makes rice cakes every year is amazing. I lift the pestle lightly, but when I experience it, it's heavy.

IMG_20171219_092816.jpg IMG_20171219_093300.jpg

Well, let's make rice cakes. In the order of the younger group, the middle group, and the older group!

IMG_20171219_102158.jpg IMG_20171219_102253a.jpg

This is rice cake making for the first time when a younger group entered kindergarten. Because the pestle is heavy, I was able to have Pettan Pettan rice cake making with the support of a sumo wrestler. After this, he continued with the middle and senior groups, but when he grew up, he had a punch with his own power. The energetic shout of "Yoisho Yoisho" was also echoing throughout the schoolyard.

Look at making kagami mochi-It's a big mirror rice cake to decorate in kindergarten!

IMG_20171219_094534.jpg IMG_20171219_094613.jpg

Seiichi Ando, an 88-year-old living in Nihonbashihamacho, made a mirror rice cake. Mr. Ando has been doing a Japanese confectionery shop called "Harugetsudo" for a long time in Nihonbashihamacho. By the time the shop was closed, confections were delivered to elementary schools and kindergartens in the city. Even after closing, I have come to the local Arima Kindergarten and Tsukishima Daiichi Kindergarten every year to make kagami mochi. The kagami mochi made by Mr. Ando seems to have formed a round round and round shape with the wind of a small fan while the rice cake was hot, and a beautiful semicircular kagami mochi was created in no time. Indeed, the expression of God's work was perfect.

Mr. Ando taught me how to make mini kagami mochikagami mochi.

IMG_20171219_102855.jpg IMG_20171219_103347.jpg

Finally, I took on the challenge of making my kagami mochi - it was my first experience, but the mini kagami mochi that can be displayed in my house during New Year's Day.

IMG_20171219_103128.jpg IMG_20171219_103310.jpg

"It's difficult to make it round" "Is this okay?" The teacher in charge said, "I heard Mr. Ando's story well." Hot rice cakes became cold and hardened quickly. When it becomes hard, it struggles with rice cakes that can no longer be fixed. However, when the mirror rice cake was completed, the face was full of smiles with a sense of accomplishment. I'm a senior group of first graders soon.

Play with a sumo wrestler. The younger group, "Hokkeyo-no-ko,"

IMG_20171219_100117.jpg IMG_20171219_095505.jpg

Only 3 years old. It's special. "It's expensive! High!"

IMG_20171219_105324.jpg IMG_20171219_105332.jpg

"It's expensive! It's a great pleasure to ask you! What kind of world was reflected in the children's eyes?‼

I'm eating the rice cake I've been waiting for. You are chewing and eating well. Did you know that freshly-made mochi doesn't clog your throat? Mochi on a machine has a great risk of clogging the throat, but I learned from Ando that the mochi on a pestle is OK.

IMG_20171219_113335.jpg IMG_20171219_113735.jpg IMG_20171219_114121.jpg

Have a lot of hungry sumo wrestlers!

IMG_20171219_114508.jpg IMG_20171219_115204.jpg

Thank you very much from 9 to 12 o'clock. I've always been helping the PTA people from rice cake making to clean up. He's a big sumo wrestler. The freshly made rice cake is delicious. The rice cakes were gone in no time.

It is a rice cake making event that can only be realized through the great cooperation of parents, led by PTA officers. I had been carefully prepared for this day several months ago. After all, hard for cute children. The day before, I washed rice cakes and prepared early in the morning. This year, not only mothers but also fathers came to help four people. rice cake making has a lot of hard work, so it's better to have more manpower. The operation of the rice cake making party is very difficult. Even after the rice cake making meeting ends, it will take a few days to clear the mortar. We also pay attention to the maintenance of delicate mortars. Surely the smiles of today's children will blow away the tiredness of PTA officers and parents.‼

IMG_20171219_103546.jpg IMG_20171219_103746.jpg

Mothers and dads are busy in the home economics room of elementary school and kindergarten staff room, steaming rice cakes.

IMG_20171219_103808.jpg IMG_20171219_103750.jpg

Mothers who put kinako mochi and seaweed mochi in their children's lunch box. I was impressed by the fact that they were making freshly-made mochi for the children and sumo wrestlers who eat a lot while feeling hot.

Sokoku Raiseki, who won the Kyushu place ten cars, rushed in while he was busy.

IMG_20171219_095308.jpg IMG_20171219_095105.jpg

The child was greeted by the signboard saying, "Congratulations on the Congratulations on the Congratulations on the Arashionobe and everyone's enjoy it."

IMG_20171219_094809.jpg IMG_20171219_101718.jpg

Mr. Shigeru Miki, principal of Tsukishima Daiichi Elementary School, who is familiar with sumo, introduced Sokoku Raiseki, and the children also went from the classroom during the break time, saying, "Congratulations on winning the Sokoku Raiseki Juryo. I was sending a lot of ale. The children's feelings were also delivered to Sokoku Raiseki. In Chuo-ku, the “One Paku Sumo Chuo-ku Tournament” is held every year at the Chuo-ku Sports Center for elementary school students. For children, the strong Sokoku Raiseki is a familiar hero. For elementary school students in Chuo-ku, it can be said that they are a longing person.

IMG_20171219_101518.jpg IMG_20171219_101522.jpg

Sokoku Raiseki was born in China and never ate rice cake. I heard from a wolf in Arashio room that I recently loved freshly cooked rice cakes when I came to Japan. Immediately, freshly cooked rice cake. I think it was very delicious.

IMG_20171219_101219.jpg IMG_20171219_100233.jpg

Finally, I spoke to your wife. Yuka Suzuki served as a member of the Board of Education in Chuo-ku until last year. It is a valuable experience for children to interact with many wrestlers since the children of Chuo-ku were young, so today we brought 10 wrestlers to rice cake making. Kindergartens in Chuo-ku, which enjoy such benefits every year, are blessed. Elementary school at Tsukishima Daini Elementary School, rice cake making, and Waseda University. I hear that rice cake making can't increase any more because it overlaps in December. That's right.

I wish the wrestlers of the Sokoku Raiseki and Arashio rooms more and more active, and I would like to continue to support the Arashio room.

(I photographed with the permission of Arashio room and Tsukishima Daiichi Kindergarten.)

Inbound Nihonbashi

[De Niro] December 14, 2017 16:00

de-Niro_01.jpg Even though 2017 is about to end, this year's first post is likely to be the last post this year (>_<).

I didn't have a correspondent. In early spring, I was in charge of a mini-tour of Ginza for foreign tourists at the Hina Matsuri event hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, but I was unable to report that. Last month, with the aim of exploring inbound response, we introduced a monitoring tour that assumes foreign tourists in Nihonbashi. This is a content sponsored by the Chuo-ku Tourism Association, which recruits foreigners living in Japan and evaluates the tour itself.

This felt a lot of pressure.

Inbound_Nihonbashi-Walks.jpg

So, I made my own panels like this and brought them to the site!

Atakushi is a fan of the movie "Star Wars", if not as much as Mr. Mura of a certain tourist association, and I'm really looking forward to the last new work that will be released soon. I prepared such a "seasonal" story and started this monitoring tour.

Nihonbashi-Walks_OP.jpg

The opening uses the music of the example as BGM, A long time ago, far, far away.....

"A long time ago, in the past, it was a galaxy of Edo, when Jedai, Tokugawa, unified the whole country ..."

・・Let's start the tour with a feeling.

In this way, if you come up with an idea that seems to be enjoyable for yourself and that will be interesting to customers, the pressure will blow away.

There is another reason why I tried to stick to "Star Wars".

A statue of a lion like a komainu in Nihonbashi.

What was that round guy on her hand?

A statue of a lion jpg This is the emblem of Tokyo, as the correspondent knows.

Unknown-1.png

Actually, recently, I remembered when I saw the past Star Wars series, and I realized that the emblem of the Imperial Army was similar to this.

Imperial_Emblem.png

 Oh! What's this?

How does Tokyo recognize this fact, whether it's really casual or too explosive?

The shape is simple, and unlike the time of the emblem (No, the same?) It may be just a coincidence.

However, I feel that there is a reasonable doubt that George Lucas, who is familiar with Japanese culture and history, remains.

The story of Jedai's knight, "Star Wars," inspired by Japanese Bushido

Yeah, it's ridiculous! If I don't say, "Is something similar?" I wonder if I can't say that I can't say anything.

Well, because of that, the timing of the release is near, and this time we walked around Edo Bra in the style of "Star Wars", but was there any problem?

[Notice of closing] Higashinihombashi "Bankoklara Cafeteria"

[Chuo-ku to enjoy with children] #18: a healthy family with good teeth

[Dye] Nov. 30, 2017 14:00

It's an early one month left this year, isn't it?
Chibi in my home is four years old and can now brush his own teeth.

And nicely, the other day, I received the award of "Good Tooth Healthy Family" in Chuo-ku \ (^ o ^) /

About six months ago, we need to devise various ways to brush our teeth, so we can try to brush our teeth together.
While having Anpanman (stuffed toy) show an example (laughs)
I was trying to make my tooth brushing fun.

At that time, there was a notice of a preliminary examination of the "good tooth healthy family", and a parent and child consulted a dentist. I was very glad that I could check my teeth on this occasion because my care tended to be postponed.

Unfortunately, it was canceled due to a typhoon on the day of the award ceremony, but it was a good memorial for parents and children to work on dental health, and it was encouraging for raising children.

s48_02.jpg

Commemorative items. The lion's medal is open and you can put a picture.◎

In the commemorative collection, comments from "8020 Achievements" are lined up, and those who like hard things, those who continue to check regularly, and those who are full of tips for dental health Was!

I am really grateful to have such an opportunity in the city.

Family dentists who have conducted the preliminary examination can always visit with their children with peace of mind, so I would like to introduce them to another opportunity ^^
