Fuyusobi (Winter Rose) [Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] December 30, 2017 09:00

fuyuso001.JPG

Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park has many kinds of roses planted so that it can be called a rose garden, and when it comes to flowering, colorful flowers bloom and I introduced it on this blog in May of this year I was allowed to do it.

fuyuso002.JPG

On December 27, despite remontant flowering, roses are blooming well in this cold weather.

fuyuso003.JPG

I learned that roses blooming in winter are called "Fuyusobi" (winter seasonal language) and "Winter rose" was written at the end of the first song of "Gunsei" written and composed by Shinji Tanimura. I remember that it was when this word came out.

fuyuso004.JPG

Indeed, "Gunsei" was the theme song of the movie called "Union Fleet".

In the play, I remember that this "Gunsei" was used very effectively

fuyuso005.JPG

Light purple scatters when broken

A single flower that blooms in Nobe

Is ephemeral like flowers the life of a person?

At least scattered in the sea

At least the winter rose that blooms in the sea and has a hearty winter rose.

(Lyrics and composed by Shinji Tanimura "Gunsei")

By the way, on the day, the temperature around Chuo-ku was about 5 degrees lower than the previous day.

It's the New Year in a few days.

Edo Komata at Kakigaracho Park Edo komata by Mr. Masayuki Nagare

[Silver] December 29, 2017 18:00

In a corner of Kakigaracho Park, there is a large foot-shaped sculpture.

The author is Masayuki Nagare, a world-famous sculptor.

The name of the work is "Edo Komata", and the production year is 1992.

It's been about 10 years since I learned about the existence of this sculpture. However, it did not match the year of the adjacent TCAT (Tokyo Shitai Air Terminal, opened on July 1, 1972 (Showa 47) and the Royal Park Hotel (June 1, 1989, adjacent to Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT) in Chuo-ku, Tokyo), so it remained with questions.

Did these travel and tourism industries set up in hope of "travel safety"? I kept thinking about it. It's been about five years since my friend WLY told me to write a blog post.

This time, at last, I was able to know how this sculpture was installed on the Internet.

According to the report, Chuo-ku said, "To commemorate the Declaration of Peace City, it was installed as a symbol of the city's peace at Kakigaracho Park adjacent to the Tokyo City Air Terminal, which is equivalent to the empty entrance of Chuo-ku." is.

The URL of the announcement is posted on the "Heiwa, Chuo-ku Prayer Virtual Museum" and is here.

My long doubts were clear and clear. Have a safe trip! Bom voyage!

Be sure to enjoy the mysterious sight at dusk, the old city of Yagenbori.

[Shiba Inu] December 25, 2017 09:00

From Tuesday, December 26 to 28 (Thursday), the year-old city of Odeko, Yagenbori fudoson, will be held in Nihonbashi. The location is Higashi Nihonbashi 2-chome, the eastern end of Chuo-ku. The nearest stations are Higashi-Nihonbashi Station and Bakuro-Yokoyama Station. It takes place in the fudoson area of Yagenbori.

The year-on-ichi is the last city of the year, where New Year's decorations such as shimenawa sacred ropes, winter clothing and food are sold cheaply. The remaining old cities in Tokyo are Hagoita in Asakusa and Yagenbori here. Yagenbori's year-old city was the last city in Edo Gofu, so it was called the "Noto-no-ichi". It was once cut off in the war, but the local people have resumed, and even now in Heisei, they can buy it at the beginning of the year while enjoying the Edo atmosphere.

Yagenbori was the place where Dutch studies (medicine) surgery was performed during the Edo period, and the place where the talks began. There are a number of related monuments on the premises. And it has a very mysterious cityscape. In a small town, if you walk for a few minutes, you will get to one of the major streets in Tokyo, but when you enter the Yagenbori area, such a modern hustle and bustle disappears, and you will feel the illusion of entering a town somewhere in Showa.

The best time to visit is from dusk to night.

I don't want to go shopping at such times even though it's cold and busy....I feel like that, but this is the most mysterious thing.

IMG_8897.jpgIt is a very recommended spot for those who like to take pictures of the night view.

IMG_8902.jpgIMG_8899.jpg

There's also a lion dance, and there's a lot of entertainment. You'll bite your head properly!

IMG_8895.jpgMany strange stories are actually transmitted to year old cities around the country. Those who died in that year came to shop, or local youkai opened a shop at night. At the end of the year, everyone is passing each other on the street corner and welcomes a new year.

The current Yagenbori Toshinoichi has a very lively atmosphere with the power of a nearby wholesale district. By all means, please come to the lively “last year old city” where there is mysterious!

New Year's Akatsuki Park

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] December 24, 2017 18:00

tosiseake001.JPG

Akatsuki Park at Tsukiji 7-chome is also a walking course, and the trees planted there show various expressions in each season, and it is fresh whenever you come, but Speaking of Akatsuki Park, it is still Metasequoia The impression of the giant tree is strong.

tosiseake002.JPG

Metasequoia leaves reddish brown and leaves fall, but I feel like the fallen leaves were early this year.

Looking at the situation in the same period of the past, it is cold to be standing this year (see blog posts from last year and two years ago below).

tosiseake003.JPG

On the other hand, camellia sasanqua is in full bloom and I feel like it's even better with flowers this year.

tosiseake004.JPG

The buds of white magnolia seem to be wrapped in velvet during this season.

tosiseake005.JPG

This park feels tight as it has this Siebold statue.

tosiseake006.JPG

The statue of Siebold, a German doctor and naturalist, was set up here because this area was the birthplace of Edo Dutch studies, and he was said to have contributed to its development. It is said that Siebold's daughter, "Ine," opened a maternity hospital in Tsukiji.

tosiseake007.JPG

Even during this season, if the weather is nice, you can see a company employee who is spreading lunch in this park at lunchtime.

From Nihonbashi to Kyobashi, Ginza Christmas Walk

[Silver] December 24, 2017 12:00

From Nihonbashi 1-chome to Ginza 5-chome, we walked through the city where you can hear jingle bells.

In the window of Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Santa is riding a reindeer and delivering presents. It's like the story of a fairy country. On the 1st floor of the store, the children were delighted because they could ride the Mary Go round.

In Kyobashi, the pillars of the Meijiya building adjacent to the Courtyard Marriott Hotel are shining golden.

1513918632448.jpg

The Christmas tree of Kyobashi Edgran was my sister and niece very much. Today we have a meal at the restaurant in B1.

The traffic light at the Ginza 1-chome police box is displayed at "Ginza Doriguchi". I'm convinced.

It is said that the outer wall of "Kirari and Ginza Building" is inspired by the brilliant cut of diamonds. This is also convincing.

1513918681019.jpg

From Ginza 4-chome, "GINZA PLACE", the first and second floors are Nissan showrooms and galleries. I slowly saw it from the cafe in the opposite building.

A fun night is coming. Please Enjoy Christmas Holidays.
