[Mido] June 19, 2014 09:00

There is also a golf driving range in Chuo Ward ... but it's "indoor"
It's a practice area. It is located on the first basement floor of the building next to the long-established hotel Kazusaya.
My name is E.I. Golf City. E is Enjoy (fun), I is
It is said that it represents innovation.

When you actually enter the practice area, the latest simulation machine will be installed.
Someone is taking a lesson.
The simulation machine allows you to check the head speed and trajectory with images.
You can check your own swing in the video.
In addition, take care of your tired body and massage before practice here.
You can get it.
Lending clubs and shoes are also available, so it took a little time.
I'm grateful to be able to practice at any time.
Please refer to the website for details.

Shitamachi Union imperial procession (Sanno Festival)

[Tachibana] June 15, 2014 14:00

The Sanno Festival, one of the three major festivals in Edo, is being held, and the Shitamachi Union imperial procession was held on the 15th, where 12 portable shrine units such as Nihonbashi, Kyobashi and Hatchobori travel along Chuo-dori from Kyobashi to Nihonbashi.

takashimaya.jpgzenntai.jpg
I grew up in Nihonbashi Tachibana-cho (Higashibashi 3-chome), so I'm in Kanda festival, but since I was familiar with the festival where I used to elaborate drums on the floats of the town council before I was carrying a child portable shrine, I went to see the Sanno Festival Shimomachi Union imperial procession.

The fine portable shrine of each town is coming one after another. portable shrine can continue to carry it without a break, so there is a large number of people in one portable shrine, and the total is quite large.

The highlight is the portable shrine in the sense of giving the gods in front of the shrine parishioner of Kanda Myojin (the shrine parishioner of Kanda Myojin on the north side of Nihonbashi, and the shrine parishioner of Hie-jinja Shrine on the south side of this year).

The spectators were also surrounded by triple and four times, and applauded with portable shrine's rhythm.

In portable shrine, Nihonbashi, there were many people wearing happi coat, a well-known company nearby, such as Mitsui Fudosan, Takashimaya, Taro Sakae, Kokubun, Nomura Securities and Tokyo Tatemono. It's the most popular festival in Edo Tokyo.

Tokyo Metropolitan High Watching Hakozaki JCT-Sumida River Ohashi-Kiba

[Sumida Fireworks] June 9, 2014 09:00

I participated in an event called "Tokyo Metropolitan High Watching" (May 29).
This is one of the measures related to facility safety implemented by the Metropolitan Expressway, which walks under the elevated tracks along the Metropolitan Expressway to have a monitor monitor observe the overall road facilities, and at the same time to understand daily maintenance work, It is to gather opinions on aspects and services.

Meet at the Metropolitan High Management Bureau Building in Nihonbashihakozakicho, walk along the road from Hakozaki Junction (JCT) under the Metropolitan Expressway No. 9 Fukagawa Line, and walk about 2 km to Kiba, Koto-ku.
I looked up from the road under the overpass and looked at the structures, but until now I had never seen these structures seriously, so it was a fresh experience in a sense.

s_hanabi4-1.jpgThe starting point, Hakozaki JCT, is a junction of a car connected to No. 6 Mukojima Line and No. 9 Fukagawa Line, and the Sumida River Ohashi immediately after JCT is directly connected to JCT, so it is quite complicated. You can see that it is a structure.

s_hanabi4-2.jpgCrossing the Sumida River, you will enter the Fukagawa area of Koto-ku, pass through Fukagawa Fudodo and Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine and finish at Kiba.
On the way, check if there are bird nests or things that are likely to fall, and listen to stories about the structure and materials of the bridge.......It was a precious time.

s_hanabi4-3.jpg

The Metropolitan Expressway was created using many places of rivers and waterways that have been used as water transportation since the Edo and Meiji eras.
Compared to the old map, it can be seen that the Metropolitan Expressway course that we walked this time was made at the Hakozaki River on the Chuo-ku side and the oil Horikawa on the Koto-ku side.
Due to these circumstances, there are many places that are elevated, and it is necessary to give more consideration to the safety of cars, people and ships passing underneath them.
I think the engineers who made it were also difficult, but I realized that maintaining and maintaining this was also a difficult task.

s_hanabi4-4.jpg

After watching, it is a waste to return home as it is, so go back and walk along the original road.

s_hanabi4-5.jpg

Hachiman Bridge is located east of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine.

This bridge was relocated from one of the "Mitsuhashi" in Chuo-ku, "Bunshobashi", and was built in 1878. It is the oldest bridge in Japan made from iron and is an important cultural property of the country. It was relocated here after the Great East Japan Earthquake, but is still in use.
A part of the bridge is decorated with chrysanthemum emblems, making it a quaint bridge.

Finally, "Sumida River Ohashi".

s_hanabi4-6.jpgThe lower part of this bridge is a two-layer bridge with a general road and the upper part is a metropolitan height, and the landscape requires wisdom and ingenuity. However, the view from this bridge is impressive.
The upstream Kiyosu Bridge area is one of the few spots where the Sky Tree can be seen in the middle of the Sumida River, and the downstream area of Eitai Bridge fits well with the view of the bridge.

s_hanabi4-7.jpgs_hanabi4-8.jpg

I personally like the scenery.
In the area of Kiyosubashi, especially when the Sky Tree, which is several times a year, turns pink. It happened to be pink on the day. It harmonizes with the pink light-up of Kiyosu Bridge.
In the direction of Eitai Bridge, was the sky slightly blue after sunset? You can feel the light blue light of Eitai Bridge more beautifully.

s_hanabi4-9.jpgs_hanabi4-10.jpg

Cheongju Bridge and Eitai Bridge are lit up from evening until 21:00. The nearest station to Sumida River Ohashi is Suitengumae Station, and Ningyocho Station is also within walking distance.

[Sam] June 7, 2014 14:00

On the evening of June 4, the first "Nori Enjoying Party" was held at Yamamoto-noriten Nihonbashi Main Store.

(18:45~19:45)

The theme is "The secret of beauty found with seaweed."

First of all, 1 butter + soy sauce flavor 2 butter + cheese + soy sauce flavor nori toast is served (I).

I started with a lecture on "The story of Nori".

Then, 1 corn soup, 2 cream potage, 3 tomato potage "3 kinds of soup" +

①Taste of brown rice 2 sesame flavor "2 kinds of tidbits seaweed" (II).

After the lecture on "Nori no nutrition", "Take-baked seaweed experience" and "hand-rolling experience (variety ingredients sampling)" (III).

Nori is added to umami ingredients.

Dietary fiber, essential for diet

A high-quality protein called "Sea Soybeans".

1/2 of lipids is EPA, which is active in anticholesterol measures.

In addition, a number of nutrients such as vitamin C, β-carotene, folic acid, iodine, and minerals are concentrated.

Among them, the moisturizing properties of water-soluble dietary fiber called "porphyran" and the deterrent of skin aging seem to be attracting attention.

The “fried laver experience” is based on the quality standards of laver, “fragrance (strong and weak)”, “color / gloss (color tone / baked color)” “shape (thin thickness / presence / absence of holes)” “texture (texture / crisp / mouthfeel)”, “taste (taste / sweetness / salty)”, etc. It was an opportunity to experience again.

And the proposal of "nori recipes" that are more abundant than expected.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

[A cool wind in the hot season] Edo fan of Ibasen

[Dye] June 6, 2014 09:00

Midsummer days have been observed as early as possible, and the hot season has come again this year.

Chibi of my home is also sweating, but coolers and fans can hurt my body a little.

Since it can be carried around, the fan is quite convenient.

However, now I'm glad to have a fan, so I visited Nihonbashi Ibasen in search of good things.

Ibasen was founded in Tensho 18 (1590)!

It is a long-established store with a history of more than 420 years since the opening of Edo.

 s04_01.jpg s04_02.jpg

There are many patterns of fans and fans in the store, so you'll be confused about choosing them, but you'll get lost.

This time it's a great deal, so I showed you around Edo folding fans.

As the name implies, the Edo fan is the shape of a fan sold in Edo. It is characterized by its plain but neat and stylish pattern, the thickness of the parent bone and the small number of bones according to the boldness of the pattern.

It is also used by storytellers, chess players, and Japanese dancers.

s04_03.jpg s04_04.jpg

Left: Mount Fuji pattern registered in World Heritage last year

Right: Edo fan with an auspicious pattern.

  A bird...Take a thousand (get a lot)

  Gourd...sound health

  Dragonfly...Worms

Originally, the fan was used as an accessory for noble people, but in the Edo period, the fan spread to the common people, and it was said that it became used for summer cool.

There was playfulness in the handle of the fan, and I thought that the Edo kids at that time enjoyed fashion in such places.

s04_05.jpg s04_06.jpg

s04_07.jpg s04_08.jpg

Upper left: Edo folding fan for men.

Upper right: A small crest pattern for women.

Lower: In both cases, the back is different in color.

By the way, I prayed for sound health and made a gourd with an auspicious pattern.

s04_09.jpg s04_10.jpg

Slightly, the back side is light purple.

Ibasen fans are made of carefully selected bamboo and paper, and the smell of incense like soap and soap is fluffy.

I'm particular about inconspicuous parts, and when I look closely, I like Edo-like places that make me think "Oh!"

In addition, Edo folding fans are all involved in the production process by one craftsman, so it takes time to practice and the number of craftsmen who have inherited the skills seems to be small.

There are not many places where you can pick up so many patterns and choose them, so Ibasen is a valuable shop.

It seems that they are given a new pattern every year, and it seems that there are limited collaboration products besides Edo fans.

s04_11.jpg

Collaboration between Kabukiza and Ibasen. Limited sale at this store or Kabukiza.

The light onion color, which is said to have been liked by the people of Edo, is cool.

The back left is a collaboration with Kumamon.

The Kyo fan I often see is Yumi, but I personally think that the skipped Edo fan is especially wonderful for men.

It's also good as a gift for Father's Day on June 15th.

Why don't you cool down this summer with Ibasen fans?
