Happy new year
It's been less than a month before the Chuo-ku sightseeing certification. Everyone who takes the test is finally in driving mode. I will continue to take on the challenge as I did last year.
After carefully reading "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia" and reviewing the past 1,000 questions, I found that there were my weaknesses in questions such as "Historic buildings" (p.152-153), "Tourism Event Information" (p.186), "Chuo-ku Machikado Exhibition Hall List" (p.187).
At first glance, I went to the site.
Today's course takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes on foot and by train.

[Extra] Approach the charm of the bridge lights in Chuo-ku!

[Hanes] January 9, 2019 12:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
This time, the extra edition of the river / bridge edition, it is a maniac content that is not questioned by the certification, so it is a maniac content.
I would appreciate it if you could use it as a reference when taking a walk....
And it is the bridge lights and lighting fixtures that will be picked up in advance!

In April, when I wrote a modern version of "Hashizukushi" with Yukio Mishima's short novel "Hashizukushi" in one hand.
I learned that the bridge light of Miyoshi Bridge is Suzuran Light.
Since then, I have been watching the bridge lights carefully when crossing other bridges.

■Reigishi Bridge
Like alternating in the inflorescence (one in each node of the stem)
Polygonal bridge lights at different heights...It's simple but fashionable, isn't it?

■Shin-Kameshima Bridge
This bridge light is different from those of Reigishi Bridge and has an impressive curve.
It looks like a long herbivore dinosaur with a long neck.

■Kameshima Bridge
There are two types of bridge lights that can be seen with white spheres.

■Minami Takahashi
At first glance, there seems to be no lamps, but it is firmly attached.

■Edobashi
The lighting fixtures attached to the solid main pillar are impressive, and the bridge lights are somewhat Western-style.

This time, I did not mention it, but the bridge lights of Ryogoku Bridge with the same design as at the time of completion.
It has a unique design that differs for each bridge, such as the bridge lights of Kiyosu Bridge designed like a lamp.
When you start watching it, you will notice the fun.

Some of them are characteristic, such as Suzuran Light, that are featured in novels.
Bridge lights and lighting fixtures have been entertaining our eyes both now and in the past.

Enjoy the beauty of Japan

An exhibition of treasures lined with national treasures.

 Appearance. jpg

Rather than watching in photography, it is better to see the exhibits live.
It will be very different as an experience.

This is an exhibition case that reproduces the national treasure tea room "Nyoan".
What is the place where the "National Treasure Shino Bowl Meiuka" is combined?
I think you can feel a lot.

Not only the front, back, left and right of the bowl, but also the construction of a hill from the prospect
There is creativity and a highlight in all directions.

The box book is attached by Sekishu Katagiri.

"Yamazato's no Hanatsumichi
 "Yukifumi, here and there."

Did you look like Shino glaze as snow and flowers?
It's a wonderful song. It was on the street.

The annual "National Treasure Yukimatsu Figure Screen" is also open to the public.

Be sure to visit and see this rare national treasure.
How about it?

The last Hakone Ekiden in Heisei and Senshafuda stamp rally

[Gin Tangeron] January 8, 2019 14:00

On January 3 (Thursday), I watched the last Hakone Ekiden in Heisei and participated in the "Sensha Bill Stamp & Town Name Quiz Rally" held by the Chuo-ku Tourist Information Center.

First of all, to collect information, I asked a woman guided in a kimono at the Nihonbashi Tourist Information Center where the athlete is currently running, and said, "I'm running around Sengakuji Temple and coming to Nihonbashi in more than 10 minutes." I decided to watch the game around here.

While waiting for the players, when I looked at the statues of Kirin and lions in Nihonbashi, I found that Kirin's feet were two fingers and the lion's feet were four fingers, and I felt like I had a big harvest.

At 13:22, the top player passed in front of you in an instant.

I couldn't see my face very quickly, and people who were trying to shoot with a smartphone said, "I couldn't shoot ..." .

Three minutes later, the second place player will come, but this will pass in an instant ...

The area around Nihonbashi is 1 km to the goal, and it is also a popular watching point.

Next, I thought that I had to think carefully about the watching points, and headed to "Sensha Bill Stamp & Town Name Quiz Rally".

This is held until January 14 (Monday), and if you collect 7 stamps in the city, you will receive a "participation prize", and if you answer all the stamps & quizzes correctly, you will receive a further "achievement prize" You.

※The number of participation awards and achievement awards is limited.

Like a Hakone Ekiden player, I think it's a good idea to run through Chuo-ku in an instant, but why not go around Chuo-ku while playing a suntaap rally with Jikkuri?

I want to go when I'm depressed! A street that makes you a little happy

[Hanes] January 8, 2019 09:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
As Yo-chan introduced on New Year's Eve, there are many routes in Chuo Ward, each of which has a nickname.

Among them, there are favorite streets that you want to go when you are personally depressed.
That's Yokadori (Happy Street)!
The starting point is Yaesu 1-chome 8 and the end point is Nihonbashi 3-chome 5.
It seems that Yaesu's "eight" and Nihonbashi's "day" were taken for eight days (happi).

DSC_3423.JPG

It's a sound that makes you feel happy.
But it's a great deal, so please take a look at the English name.

HAPPY DORI ST.
Not only the sound, but it's a really happy street!
It's like a "small happiness discovery", but it's a street where you can relax.

Of course, there are also large streets in Chuo Ward where traffic restrictions are enforced at Hakone Ekiden, such as Kajibashi Dori and Chuo-dori.

DSC_3425.JPG

However, when walking around the town, pay attention to the nicknames and characteristics of these streets.
I'm sure that walking around the town will be more fun
For those who live in Chuo-ku and those who come to Chuo-ku,
May 2019 be a happy year...
