Harumi Triton Square Mythical Square Large Celebration Christmas Tree 2018

[Silver] December 6, 2018 18:00

Harumi Triton Square has streets and squares named for each theme, and the mythical square is decorated with large ceiling paintings.

On the floor of the mythical square, you can see an mermaid-like old man, decorated with marbles, blowing a horn. This is the sea god Triton. I hear they are blowing conch shells. And as this December outfit, a fine Christmas tree is displayed.

The ceiling is decorated with pictures of Greek mythology and is as the name of Triton Square.

DSCN2520 (400x300). jpg

This picture was posted in 2001 when the "Italy Year in Japan" was held. The picture depicts the god of livestock and prophecy, Apollo, famous as the sun god, Artemis, the goddess of the moon, Eos of the dawn, Zeburos of the west wind, and Flora of the spring goddess of the spring (the goddess who rule the flowers). It invites you to travel to the world of mythology, the warm Mediterranean Sea, and the Aegean Sea.

Rediscover the charm of Ibaraki! A place where IBARAKI sense shines

[Hanes] December 4, 2018 12:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
More than a month has passed since the reopening of the antenna shop IBARAKI sense in Ibaraki Prefecture, and Ibaraki sense.
Have you gone to a new shop yet?
On the day of the reopening, tape cuts were made by actress Miho Shiraishi and actor Gota Watanabe from Ibaraki Prefecture, and it became a hot topic!
I'm also from Ibaraki Prefecture, so I stopped by with my colleagues on the day of the opening.

DSC_2811.JPG
(State of stores under renovation)

It has been reborn as a fashionable space that has a sense of openness than before.
I hope that the impression of Ibaraki Prefecture will be better enough to recover at once in the attractiveness ranking.

IBARAKI sense.jpg
(The state of the store in early November)

Well, what did Hanes buy at an antenna shop in Ibaraki Prefecture?...

■Saza Coffee (Saza Coffee)
The answer is the Saza Coffee of BARA cafe attached to IBARAKI sense.
Some people may think, "Why is coffee?"
Actually, this is a slightly luxurious self-roasted coffee loved by citizens of the prefecture, which has a reputation for being delicious in the prefecture.

BARA cafe.jpg

This coffee shop was founded in 1969 by the operating company of the movie theater "Katsuta Takarazuka Theater".
In 1997, we opened a directly managed farm in Colombia, South America.
In 2017, we won the first championship at the FNC Colombia Cauca District Fair.

It's also appreciated in coffee beans producing areas, so you can't miss the coffee street!
You can eat only a few kinds in this cafe, but you can enjoy it.
At the Saza Coffee store, there is a "Tokugawa Shogun Coffee" created in collaboration with Yoshitomo Tokugawa, the fourth generation of the Yoshinobu Tokugawa family.
This is where Yoshinobu hired a French chef during the negotiations on the opening of the port in 1867.
We investigated and reproduced the literature at the time of offering hospitality coffee to Western ministers.
It is a modern version of late Tokugawa shogunate's French-style coffee.
Not only coffee lovers, but also history lovers, don't you worry about the flavor?

In this way, Ibaraki Prefecture, which is closely related to Edo and Tokyo due to the connection of the Tokugawa family....
From here, we will introduce spots related to Ibaraki Prefecture in the city every time!

Edo period
■Samurai residence
Samurai residence in Ibaraki Prefecture (part of Hitachi and Shimousa) was relatively large in the ward.
Kamiyashiki: Hitachi Aso Domain Shinjo Sun Komori Naotake (3-chome, Nihonbashihama-cho)
Nakayashiki: Hitachi Kasama Domain Makino Bingo Mamoru Sadanao (around Meijiza)
Shimousa Furukawa Clan Doi Daikanto Toshinori (Nihonbashihakozakicho, around IBM Hakozaki Building)

■Kasama Inari Shrine Tokyo Betsusha
Kasama Inari Shrine Tokyo Betsusha, a company in Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods, Nihonbashi located in Nihonbashihamacho.
It was a shrine that was separated from Kasama Inari Shrine in Ibaraki Prefecture, one of Japan's three major Inari shrines in the middle of the Edo period.

The Chrysanthemum Festival is held every November and is full of many people.
It is relatively easy to access from Tokyo.

■Ishikawajima Museum
In 1853, when Perry arrived.
The Mito clan Nariaki Tokugawa founded the "Ishikawajima Shipyard" to enhance Japan's military power.
Here, the construction of Japan's first Western-style sailing warship "Xuri Maru" was started, and modern shipbuilding began.
Today, at this museum in Tsukuda, you can learn about the history and culture of Tsukuda Island and shipyards.

■Nihonbashi

Nihonbashi was built for the first time in 1603 and became the center of Japan the following year as the starting point of the Gokaido.
The stone double arch bridge we are currently crossing is completed in 1911.
The bronze sculpture of the kirin and lion, designed by architect Yorinaka Tsumaki, is impressive.
Surprisingly, this bridge also has an Ibaraki element!
More than 40,000 Inada stones cut out from Inada (Kasama City) in Ibaraki Prefecture are used for the pavement and arch.

DSC_3185.JPG

Inada stone, which is said to be the "white granite in Japan", is also used in the Supreme Court and Hibiya Dai-ichi Seimei Building, and has recently been used for cobblestones in the square inside the JR Tokyo Station Maru completed in December last year. It is attracting attention again.
It is also used as a wall of IBARAKI sense.

◼️ Pharmaceutical ancestor patron
Do you know this shrine right next to the forest of Fukutoku?
As you can imagine from the name of the shrine, it enshrines the pharmaceutical ancestor patron Nikami, and is said to have the benefit of disease-free health and illness healing.

DSC_3182.JPG

At first glance, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with Ibaraki Prefecture, but in fact, in the medicine industry in Nihonbashi Honmachi, it seems that it has nothing to do with Ibaraki Prefecture.
It is said that he has visited the Oarai Isomae Shrine and the Sakatsurai Sosaki Shrine in Ibaraki Prefecture, whose Nikami is the enshrined deity, and has shown a sense of reverence.

There is a torii gate of Kamiiso in the sea nearby.
This was also introduced on a poster affixed to the glass during the IBARAKI sense renewal work.

So far, I've introduced some of the Ibaraki elements found in Chuo-ku since the Edo period, how was it?
As typified by Nihonbashi, some people may first know that there is an Ibaraki element in a surprisingly familiar and familiar place.
There are many charms of Ibaraki Prefecture just because it is not known yet!
While walking around the city in Chuo-ku, be sure to find a shining spot of IBARAKI sense.

[Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Measures] Rivers and bridges (2)

[Hanes] December 2, 2018 14:00

Hello! This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
This time, we will take up the order of the two bridges (each river) in the continuation of [Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Measures] River / Bridge (1).

If you learn the order of the bridge that spans each river at the stage where the name of the bridge has come to mind to some extent
After all, it's recommended to have fun.
How to remember the Hanes style is as follows:

■Sumida River (from upstream/north → south)
"Parents at the end of today, carry Nakatsukuda (boiled)."
Ryogoku Bridge (Ryo), Shinohashi Bridge (Shin), Kiyosu Bridge (Kiyo), Sumida River Ohashi (Su), Eitai Bridge (E), Chuo-ohashi Bridge (Chu), Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge (Tsukuda), Kachidokibashi (Ka), Tsukiji Ohashi (Tsuki)
※The Sumida River Road Bridge, which spans Ryogoku Bridge and Shinohashi, is omitted.

Even if you are a little overdoing it, you will win what you have learned
Isn't it easy to remember if you imagine such a situation?

Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Measures 2.jpg

As expected, my parents don't come back with Tsukudani, but
This may have happened in the past.

■Nihonbashi (from downstream/east to west)
"Wealth, go! At one time in Japan!"
Toyomi Bridge (To), Minato Bridge (Mi), Kayaba Bridge (Kaka), Armor Bridge (Yo), Edobashi (E), Nihonbashi (Nihon), Nishikawabashi (Ni), Ichiishibashi (I / How to read "Ichikokubashi"), Tokiwa Bridge (To), Former Joban Bridge (Ki), New Tokiwa Bridge (Ni / New Tokiwa Bridge (Ni / New)

Is this an image like this?

CKK2.jpg

The wording of the Sumida River was an image of traditional culture, but it was also an image of traditional culture.
Nihonbashi seems to be the current Japan where the inbound spirit is growing.Airplane

You can remember the order of the bridge over the two rivers....However, the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification cannot be beaten by this alone.
Where do the Sumida River and Nihonbashi River join, and what is the first bridge to be built after joining?...You need to keep it down to that point!
This will be carried over to the next article.

Last but not least!
■Kamejima River (from upstream / north to south) that I want to keep if I can afford it
The Kamejima River begins at the upstream Nihonbashi sluice gate and ends at the downstream Kamejima River sluice gate.
In the meantime, there are five bridges, and those who aim for a high score should also remember.
The word matching is "Evolution of Reigan! It's expensive!"
Reigishi Bridge, Shin Kameshima Bridge, Kameshima Bridge, Takahashi (Taka), Minami Takahashi (Na) / South = "Nan" / How to read "Minami Takabashi")

There is quite a sense of force, but Reigishi Island is due to landfills and land uplifts.
Please remember along with the history that the sea level was higher than the Edo period.

※In this article, we will introduce some of the reasons for this.
If you remember the contents written here, you won't be able to pass.
 Please include it in advance.

[Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Measures] Rivers and bridges (1)

[Hanes] 09:00 on December 1, 2018

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
It's been more than 4 months, but in mid-July, I started appearing on Chuo FM for the first time.
"Instagram is inevitable! In addition to the back story of ROAR COFFEE, which groans both power and concentric.
I talked about the charm of Chuo-ku and how to study the Chuo-ku sightseeing certification for about 15 minutes.
I was just biting it because it was my first appearance.
Thank you to everyone who listened!

DSC_2429.JPG

The application for the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification started on October 1st.
This time, JUMI, a central FM personality, also introduced me.
I would like to write a little about Hanes-ryu Chuo-ku sightseeing certification measures.

Before that, it was the most important Chuo-ku sightseeing test, but mainly about history and culture since the Edo period.
You will be asked about 100 questions with different difficulty levels.
Among them, the following two things I felt particularly good at.
River and bridge problems (where rivers and capital heights intersect, where and how many bridges are built, etc.)
Route problem (which station and which line goes through? If there are multiple routes, the year of opening can be used as a hint for the answer....)

It was less than a year since I started living in Chuo-ku when I applied for the certification.
The scope of action was very limited, and for some time I was commuting on foot.
I didn't have any knowledge of rivers, bridges and routes.
Some of the examinees who are not from Tokyo like me are.
I think there are some people who have similar weaknesses!
This time, we will focus on rivers and bridges, and introduce Hanes-style verification measures to be used as a reference for testing measures.

First of all, I would like to remember the following five things about rivers and bridges.
①Bridge location
②The order of bridges (by river)
③The confluence of the river and the bridge before and after
④It is said to be a feature of the bridge.

⑤Reclamation of rivers

In this article, we will introduce the points of one bridge location (which bridge is (place name) and where (place name) and where (place name)).

■Bridge where the place name is a hint

Ryogokubashi (2-chome Higashi Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku and 1-chome Ryogoku, Sumida-ku)
This name was given because it connected Musashi and Shimousa across the Sumida River.
Kiyosu Bridge
At the time of construction, it was named after the connection between Nakasucho, Nihonbashi-ku and Kiyozumi-cho, Fukagawa-ku (currently Nihonbashinakasu and 1-chome, Kiyosumi, Koto-ku), which were on both banks.

■Bridge over the island
I think there are individual differences, but the bridge in the southeast area of Chuo-ku tends to be a pitfall (especially for test takers who are not from Tokyo).
・Bridges span from the Minato, Akashicho, and Tsukiji areas to the Tsukuda, Tsukishima, Kachidoki, and Toyomicho areas
・Bridges spanning the Harumi area from Tsukuda, Tsukishima, Kachidoki, and Toyomicho areas

Like Asashio Ohashi, Asashiobashi, Asashio Kobashi, Reimeibashi, Reimeibashi and Reimei Ohashi
Even if the name is similar, the location and size of connecting are different.

IMG_2430.JPG

Therefore, we recommend that you keep such information referring to the official text p.196 of the certification released this year!
In particular, the following three items that pass through Ring Route 2, which opened in early November, must be checked.
Tsukiji Ohashi (Sumida River / between Tsukiji and Kachidoki)
Reimei Ohashi (Asashio Canal / between Kachidoki and Harumi)
Toyosu Ohashi (Harumi Canal / between Harumi and Toyosu)
However, Chuo-ku, which has many rivers and bridges!
Don't forget to check the bridge locations in other areas.

I've briefly introduced the points of the bridge so far, but since the study method is for each person, the method that suits you best is the best!
You can put a map on the bathroom and remember it with your eyes, copy the map and remember it by hand.
You can actually walk around the town and learn it with your body.
You can remember your own way of remembering repeatedly with your mouth and ears!
If there are people who can go to the Hanes style, which will be introduced more than once in the future, please refer to it.

※In this article, we will introduce some of the reasons for this.
If you learn the contents written here, you will not be able to pass it.
 Please include it in advance.

[9th Excursion Series] An island connected by fishermen

[Hanes] Nov. 28, 2018 18:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
The other day, during the lunch break on a business trip to Osaka, I rushed to a place related to Chuo-ku.
That's Tsukuda in Nishiyodogawa-ku, Osaka!

I guess there are many readers who heard Tsukuda?
That's right. Tsukuda in Osaka is related to Tsukuda Island in Chuo-ku.

Tsukuda Island in Chuo-ku was reclaimed by fishermen who entered Edo from Tsukuda-mura, Nishinari-gun, Settsu-kuni (currently Nishiyodogawa-ku, Osaka-shi), and was formed in the first year of Shobo (1644).
So why was it built by fishermen in the distant Settsu country?
The reason for this was on a little edge.

In Tensho 14 (1586), Ieyasu Tokugawa visited Osaka Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine and Settsu Tada Shrine.
At that time, it was the fishermen of the main character Tsukuda who served as the ferry of Kanzakigawa.

kanzaki river.jpg
(On the left side is Tsukuda)

In Keicho 17 (1612), they were ordered by the Shoguns to serve as fish offerings, and 33 fishermen from Tsukuda and Owada, including the younger brother of Miyaji Tamino Shrine and Magoemon Mori of Tsukuda Village, entered Edo.
They were given the privilege of fishing rights, such as being able to fish in any sea in Japan and being exempt from tax.
Initially, they lived in Nihonbashikoamicho and engaged in fishing in Edo Bay.
Reclaimed the land of the gunshot, which was later received from the Shogunate, and created it.
It was named "Tsukuda Island" after his hometown and moved to Japan.

Later, the remaining fish donated to the Shogunate were arranged on board boats and sold to the general public.
It was the beginning of the Nihonbashi Fish Bank that I introduced the other day.

The birthplace of the Nihonbashi Fish Bank. jpg

The shrine is located in Tsukuda, Osaka, which enshrines the Ogami of Sumiyoshi.

IMG_2823.JPG

There is a monument about fishermen who have greatly contributed to the development of Chuo-ku.

Land related to Tsukuda fishermen. jpg

On the grounds, there is also Toshogu Shrine, which was enshrined after Ieyasu's death, indicating the special connection between Tsukuda and the Shogun's family.

IMG_2842.JPG

And the grave of Magoemon Mori, a representative of fishermen, is located at Masayuki-ji Temple near the shrine.
According to the temple, there is the intention of descendants, and it is not currently open to the public due to preservation.

Masayuki-ji Temple. jpg

However, at Tsukiji Honganji Temple in Chuo-ku, you can see Magoemon Mori Peace pagoda.
This was built in 1861, his 200th anniversary.

DSC_3094.JPG

The right side is the relationship between the fishermen of Tsukuda Island and the Tokugawa family, and the left side is engraved with the formation of Tsukuda Island.

Magoemon Mori Peace pagoda. jpg
(Right: right side, left: left side)

Finally, candidates for the Chuo-ku Tourism Test will introduce the cultural property related to Tsukuda that they want to check, "White Fish Offering Box"
This was used by a fisherman on Tsukuda Island to offer white fish to the general.
An inner box painted in red (the lid is written with gold mud as "Gozen white fish box Tsukudashima")
It is said that it was placed in a black lacquered sandwich box (which is written in vermilion lacquer as "Gozen Gohonmaru") and transported through a katsugi stick.

Goyo fishing was carried out from November to March every year using the net fishing method, a type of fixed net.
You can also see it in the Edo Famous Zoukai.
When you spotlight the fishermen in this way, can you naturally see their lives?

Fishermen who moved to Edo with a mysterious connection from Tsukuda, Settsu country.
The edges that they connected were not only the edges of the Shoguns, but also the edges of Edo and Settsu.
Even today, students from Tsukudajima Elementary School in Chuo Ward and Tsukuda Elementary School in Osaka City interact with each other.
There is still a good relationship on the island connected by fishermen.

[Aside]
During the Edo period, Tsukuda Island, which separated the sea slightly from the city, was an attractive place for people in the city.
Fujimimono, Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine Festival and clam digging seemed to have become tourist attractions.
The situation is depicted in "Edo specialty Kago" and "Picture Book Edo Souvenir".

Tsukishima Autumn Foliage in Tsukishima

[HK] Nov. 27, 2018 14:00

You can go far away to hunt autumn leaves, or enjoy in the neighborhood.

You can also enjoy the autumn leaves on the back street of Tsukishima Kumin Center.

By the way, you can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring.

Watching autumn foliage will make you feel so delightful regardless of the place you visit.

You can also enjoy colorful leaves at the back street of Chuoku Tsukishima Kumin Center.

The place is also a nice spot to view cherry blossoms in early spring.
