"Kyobashi XX" in Chuo-ku

[Apricot peony] September 25, 2013 09:00

Nowadays, there are Chuo-ku everywhere in Japan, but in the middle of Tokyo, our Chuo-ku was born together in 1947 with Nihonbashi-ku and Kyobashi-ku.

In the past, public facilities in Kyobashi Ward continue to play a role almost, but even if the name changes to "Chuo-ku", you can see quite a few things with the name "Kyobashi" as it is.

For example, "Kyobashi Plaza" has a house on a ward hall or community hall.

My address is Ginza 1-chome.

In the past, there was "Kyobashi Elementary School" in this place, but it was integrated with Tsukiji Elementary School to become "Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School", and the school building uses the former Tsukiji Elementary School.

"Kyobashi Park", which is adjacent to Kyobashi Plaza, was from the time of elementary school.

ck1203_130925 (3). jpgSpeaking of Tsukiji 1-1-1, the ward office is located there, and the Kyobashi Library is attached to it.

There are many valuable materials about Chuo-ku in the underground regional archives here, so you can easily browse them, and in some cases you can borrow them.

The reference is really familiar with the history of Chuo-ku and is always taken care of.

The Kyobashi Post Office is also located near the out-of-market market in Tsukiji.

Due to the privatization of the postal service, the postal business will be "Harumi Post Office Kyobashi Branch Office", but the building is "Kyobashi Post Office".

Old residents say "Kyobashi's headquarters".

And in Shintomi, "Kyobashi Tax Office".

There used to be Shintomiza here, and its explanation board was built.

I grew up locally, but it was strange that there was a building with "Kyobashi XX" even though it was not in Kyobashi, but looking at the history, there was a proper reason I knew it, it was very interesting.

Tsukiji Honganji "Shimizu" has a safe taste!

[Shitamachi Tom] September 24, 2013 14:00

We have reached the equinoctial week in autumn. It's finally the arrival of a refreshing season.

Honganji equinoctial week 2_R.JPG

Here, Tsukiji Honganji is a major base in Tokyo for the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school, and at the same time it is also a famous architecture and tourist spot known for its unique form designed by Chuta Ito.

Honganji equinoctial week 1_R.JPGThe number of worshipers does not stop on a regular basis, but many people visit during the equinoctial week. There was also a line in main hall for burning incense and worship. Although the hall is majestic, is it the atmosphere that has long been rooted in the downtown area that makes you feel familiar?

Many people know Tsukiji Honganji well, and it has been featured many times in this sightseeing correspondent blog, so this time the report of the temple itself is around here and the gourmet of the precincts I will introduce you.

Honganji Purple Water 1_R.JPGAs a local resident, I often take care of Shisui, a Japanese restaurant on the first floor of the Daiichi Empire Hall on the precincts.

The dishes here are solid seasoning and elegant servings, and there are many fans. "Monzen soba" is a popular dish, and it seems that many customers visit for this purpose. There is also a set menu of soba and rice, so it is a useful place for lunch.

In addition, the morning set in the morning is a popular menu, with standard items set one by one. There are plenty of rooms and banquet halls, which are often used in Buddhist memorial service and parties.

There is also a "tee lounge" near the entrance, where you can often see local elderly people chatting while drinking tea here. I think the salon-like atmosphere where you can calm down and talk is a space you want to take care of.

Purple water cutlet sandwich jpgIn fact, "Katsu Sand" is overwhelmingly supported by me and local young people in this "Shimizu". It is not on a general lunch menu, but you can make it by ordering individually at banquets etc. This is a comprehensive taste work that is soft and juicy tonkatsu into bread and moist scissors and seasoned with a unique sauce. I'll carry a few of them to my mouth. It can be said that it is "a masterpiece". If you have a chance, please enjoy it.

There is no flashy publicity or no special eyeball project, but I guess these solid and productive stores are "famous stores". From now on, I would like to make it an important place to go.

Yakiniku "Good!"

[Tsukiji Nyanko] September 18, 2013 13:00

In the middle of September, the morning and evening have become a very cool and easy season.
Colds are prevalent due to summer fatigue and changes in temperature, but is everyone changing?

In other words, I suffer from unexpected hand-foot-and-mouth disease (the disease mainly affects infants).
About two weeks ago, the throat swollen bright red, and countless pigeons on the mouth, hands and feet flat.
The situation where I couldn't eat due to pain and pain continued for about a week.

Nyanko Tsukiji, who loves to eat, is hungry despite suffering.
In the bed, I thought of what I wanted to eat when I was cured.

Last weekend, when we finally recovered, the first return to Japan was "yakiniku" ...
I enjoyed the meat at Tsukiji "Sureya" familiar in the neighborhood.

The menu you order is always the same.
Tan salt, carbi, halami, Mino, Shima intestine, and sea flea.

Good, salad, kimchi, yam
And put on your favorite garlic power.

"Goodleya", which uses Yonezawa Wagyu beef, is in a calm restaurant at home.
It is a beautiful shop without noisy, so you can eat slowly.

The meat and hormones are high quality and the quantity is just right, so it is recommended.
I feel that the dishes are characterized by relatively modest spiciness and strong sweetness.

We'll have bivin noodles and kuppa at the end.
Both are sweet and refreshing, so I think those who are not good at spicy are OK.

The number of seats is about 5, so we recommend that you make a reservation by phone when you go.

[Silver] September 17, 2013 14:00

The Mochi no Matsuri Honpo Mochikichi, located near Tsukiji Honganji from ADK Shochiku Square Building.

Hisasuke! C'est    ne pas 10.

Yes, it's less than 10, it doesn't reach 100%, but it's broken.

It is said that rice crackers that cannot be sold at the right price have come to be called this in the industry.
It is sold from 7:00 am and can be purchased before going to work, so it is useful for friends to eat snacks at 10 o'clock or 3 o'clock.

This morning, at 10 o'clock I flattened one bag with my wife at home. It's also perfect for holiday snacks.
There is also "Enmochi", a rice cake with raw confectionery bean paste. There are two types of this, red bean paste and bean paste. Please try it once.

Don't forget to go out to Ginza and Tsukiji! This morning too, I served cold tea, and the heat was drawn. It is a shop that offers warm hospitality.

C'est omotenashi ! C'est tres bien !

The location of the store is

1-13-14 Tsukiji, Chuo-ku NBF Higashiginza Square Building 1F.

1.0 km from the mouth of the Sumida River

[Mr.Chuo-ku] September 9, 2013 14:00

The mouth of the Sumida River, which flows into Tokyo Bay, is located in Chuo Ward.

At the 1.0 km point of the Sumida River (approximately 23 km in length) starting from the estuary, the 1.0 km point is the Sumida River (approximately 23 km in length).

A sign (↓ photo) stands.

About Sumida River↓

"It was originally the main stream of Arakawa, but since the Arakawa Floodway was designated as Arakawa by a Cabinet Order in 1965, the downstream from Iwabuchi Sluice Gate was "Sumida River". Currently, it branches off with Arakawa at Shin-Iwabuchi Suimon (Kita-ku, Tokyo), joins tributaries such as the Kanda River, and flows into Tokyo Bay" (from the Arakawa Lower River Office website (HP), which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) )

This place, 1.0 km from the mouth of the river, is the "Akashicho / St. Luke Garden Front" (↓ photo) of the water bus "Tokyo Mizube Line". By this water bus, you can go to Hamarikyu, Odaiba, Ryogoku and Asakusa.

Shimbashi Enbujo September performance for the first time in 36 years

1. September 7, 2013 14:00

The last few days have made me realize that I feel even more heat when I come back. I've been to Shimbashi Enbujo for a long time since March.

100_1202.JPG

In September, Koshiro has a reputation for performing "Kawachiyama" in the daytime and "Shiranui Ken School" at night, and the advertising poster's complaint is "Matsumoto Koshiro Evil's Hana Participation Application". The night section "Shiranui Ken School" has been turned into a movie, but it has been performed in Kabuki for the first time in 36 years since the 17th generation Kansaburo played in February 1977. In the premiere of 1960, Kansaburo is the second person to perform in Kabuki.

100_1203.JPGThe main character is an irresistible evil person who climbs up to the second generation Shiranui Ken school by doing his best for evil things such as strong contracts and murders. The villain who swings around the small bad guys is thorough, and it is a bullish villain that is different from the refreshing "Wal" of Kaai of "Yamachi". Please take a look at Koshiro who plays this splendid bad guy.

The other act is "horse thieves", the horse's "famous performance" is an exquisite sight. A big applause has been sent to "the horse's sight."

Near the opening of the performance in September, Goro Mitsu's performance was announced, and it is unfortunate that he could not see this `` horse thieve '' at Goro Mitsu, but Hashinosuke joined the peasant, Ganjaku and Minosuke I enjoyed the combination with.

The daytime section is "Kawauchiyama", "Mihama Goten Tsunatoyo" and "Gender Dojo-ji Temple".

I pray that Goro Mitsutsu will return to the stage as soon as possible.
