Hana peach is also in full bloom [Tsukiji River Ruins]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 8, 2017 12:00

Hana Momo is in full bloom in the planting area on the south side of Tsukiji 2-chome, between Tsukijibashi and Irifunebashi, which was originally the Tsukiji River.

It's pink on the map below.

hanamo00.jpg

The colors of red, white and pink flowers are vivid.

hanamo01.JPG

Hana peach is said to be a peach that has been improved to appreciate the flowers, and blooms before and after the cherry blossoms bloom.

hanamo02.JPG

The peach festival on March 3 has been celebrated since the Heian period.

It is said that the peaches were improved as ornamental Hana peaches only in the Edo period.

hanamo03.JPG

It seems that the tree shape has standing, weeping, and broom standing, and I think that Hana Momo here at Tsukiji 2-chome is broom standing.

The pale pink of the cherry blossoms is also beautiful, but the clear pink and red of Hana Momo are spring colors.

Do you know about the therapy dog Tyroli?

[Shubo's Ten Hands] April 8, 2017 09:00

DSCN0574.JPGA bronze statue of Tyori, the first therapist dog in Japan, is located in Tsukiji River Ginza Park next to Mannen Bridge over the highway.

It is a female parent dog who was thrown away with a puppy in the trash and was rescued just before slaughter. The puppy had a recipient. However, Tyroli had no recipient and was trained by the therapy dog. I am impressed by how he is kind, caring and dedicated to those who are weak. This is the story of Chilori, who is active as a therapy dog. (written by Toru Oki)

It is a famous dog that has contributed to social welfare and influenced animal protection laws.

Please drop in after shopping in Ginza.

This is Japanese Hospitality, "Omotenashi".

[Silver] April 7, 2017 18:00

One evening, around 5 o'clock, it was a day when it rained and the flowers cooled.

When I got off the Edo bus at Chuo-ku government office, a foreign family was operating a smartphone in some trouble.

"Excuse me. When I say May I help you, I say the name of a hotel that I don't know. The map displayed on the smartphone is not clear.

Then, please lend me your mobile phone. It was because I checked with the hotel people in Japanese.

I'm not sure if I call a woman at the hotel and ask her exact address and landmarks.

"In a group of Americans named Tally, two couples and two kids are at the front entrance of the Chuo-ku government office. It's raining and I don't have an umbrella, so please come and pick me up. " When I was talking about the new president's villa in their hometown for about five minutes with Mr. Tally, a woman from the hotel picked me up with an umbrella.

I am very pleased with the actions of a woman who appeared with an umbrella with a quick action, and repeated "This is Japanese hospitality, Omotenashi" many times.

A smile party and a woman at the hotel fit in my camera.

I am proud of the Japanese culture where such kind behavior continues. Ginzo

It bloomed again this year -2

In April, cherry blossoms began to bloom around Chuo-ku. Introduction of cherry blossom viewing spots

Nihonbashi Sakura-dori St.

It was not yet around the end of March, but today (April 4) is in full bloom. Needless to say, Nihonbashi Takashimaya's soba is about 1 km or a wide street, but there are many traffic, so please do not just look at the cherry blossoms when crossing the road and look at the car.

Sumida River.

Chuo-ohashi Bridge-Eitai Bridge, which has been posted several times, is still buds and will be in good shape this weekend depending on the weather.

The cherry blossoms are beautiful along the Sumida River, but this is especially recommended. Many people enjoy cherry blossom viewing, so be careful of traffic. Please push the bicycle as it is posted.

Minami Takahashi.

Near Chuo-ohashi Bridge, one of my favorite bridges over the Kamejima River, Minami Takahashi Branch, is dignified. This bridge is a reuse of the central part of the former Ryogoku Bridge triple truss bridge that was damaged during the Great Kanto Earthquake, and is the oldest road bridge in Tokyo. Please enjoy it with the cherry blossoms.

Finally, cherry blossoms can be seen next year, but here "Ginza Sony Building" closed on March 31. It opened in 1966 and has been popular as one of the landmarks of Ginza for 50 years. I'm a fan of Sony (Sony products) and used audio amplifiers, FM tuners, tape decks, etc.

More than 30 years ago, I remember that I took an 8mm video on my honeymoon (overseas) and asked the locals what it was, and it was interesting.

Speaking of my generation, Sony is immediately associated with "Ibuka-san" and "Morita-san". I feel sad that Sony's history is a new change in my personal history.

"Tsukiji Fish Bank" with delicious appetizers and fresh vegetables.

[Shubo's Ten Hands] April 5, 2017 18:00

DSCN0488 (2). JPG Do you know?

Delicious food is easy

You can get anything.

We amateurs can enter after 9 a.m.

From Harumi-dori St., enter the Odawarabashi building and there are about 30 shops on the left and right.

As soon as you leave the building and cross the Nami-dori street, it is the Kaisaibashi building. After all, there are about 30 stores on the left and right. Both buildings are connected on the third floor. You can go back and forth without getting wet even in the rain. The clerk teaches you a variety of ways to eat like a food professional. You can buy lunch at the shop and eat it on the third floor, and of course there is also a restaurant.

The toilet is clean and there are many places.

Drinking I often buy tuna and dried fish.

It's very delicious.

Why don't you try it once?

DSC_0146RRSG.jpg At the United Nations General Assembly held on December 18, 2007, at the proposal of Queen Qatar, it was resolved that April 2 will be "World Autism Awareness Day" every year, and people around the world will be autism. Activities are being conducted to widely educate people about developmental disorders, including autism.

Specifically, every year, from April 2 to 8 of World Autism Awareness Day, a developmental disability awareness week is held, and a symposium is held and colored blue, which represents "healing" and "hope", is used as a symbol to help people understand developmental disabilities, and activities such as "Blue It Up Up", which illuminates landmarks around the world in blue, are being carried out.

On this day, at Tokyo Tower, "Diamond Ver <Aqua Blue>" lights up from sunset to 22:00.

From the Sumida River Terrace in Kachidoki, the blue tower shines over the Tsukiji Market.
