Rebroase lunch at Ginza Okahan Main Store

[Mapo ★] Nov. 30, 2010 09:30

It's a shop that appeared on hanako and wanted to go if I had the opportunity.
If you think it's a sukiyaki or shabu-shabu shop, there is also a teppanyaki.
Even though it's lunch, you can have it baked in front of you!
First, such a cute salad comes out, and then bake vegetables and meat.

R0014864.JPG R0014865.JPG

Vegetables made with stew are on the iron plate.
It also comes with red soup.

We had a lunch of ribroose, but the meat is Matsuzaka beef.
It's very delicious~ (*^^*)

R0014868.JPG R0014867.JPG

The baker was also very good!

For 1500 yen for coffee after meals, there is a great deal (* ^^ *)

The store called Okahan is the owner of the shop, Mr. Okasoe.
When opening a store
Mr. Eiji Yoshikawa said, "Oka's work is still halfway."
It seems that it was named.

It's a shop with a long history (* ^^*)
A long time ago, I read Eiji Yoshikawa's Mikuni-shi and became a Mikuni-shi fan.
It was an episode with a very close feeling.

Kyoden Santo "Ginza-like character", opened in Ginza 1-chome

[Yotaro] Nov. 29, 2010 08:36

IMG_0369.JPG "Edo Kyobashi Ginza 1-chome. If you go up, you'll be on the left. If you go down, you'll be right. The front is Kyoden Santo, who planted bamboo on a wooden fence and turned hermit. If you put it inside, you will find a store. In Kyoya Denzokata ... (Kyozan Santo "Tobacco Nisho")

 Kyoden Santo, a leading figure in Edo drama, was a resident of Ginza 1-chome from the age of 13 to 56 years old, but in the fall of 1793 (1793), at the age of 33, Kyobashi Ginza 1-chome We rent a house near Kido on the east side bridge and open a 9-shaku Oku Nima store. Ukiyo-e artist Masanobu Kitao has a new design of Kyoden's own design, which is highly regarded as a ukiyo-e artist.In 1795, the same Ginza 1-chome and the father Denzaemon bought a house of a doctor who served as the landlord and relocated, making it a large store with a frontage Mima. Was.

 Kyoden advertises the store in the drama, Utamaro draws the storefront of the Kyoden store in a large format Nishiki-e, and Makoto, which was drawn to Kyoden, is also in the work, `` At this time, there are no people who do not have smoke pipes and tobacco containers at the Kyoden store There are no women who hate Satsuma potatoes and arasu eggplants. " His own tag (flyer) also gained a reputation, and some were tailor-made. (The story is a picture of a child carried by a fox, "Kokin", and an old monk turns upside down and reads "Soro". In the Meiji era, Rohan Kouda wrote a decipherment sentence "Advertisement of Kyoden". ) At the time of opening, the products handled as the prosperity were only paper tobacco containers at the time of opening, but the number of toothpicks, smoke tubes, nose paper bags, medicine such as reading circles and kiomaru, cosmetics such as white peony, etc. According to the number of "Guide to One", cosmetics, booths, and medicine "Kyohashi Kyodenso" is listed in front of cosmetics.

IMG_0373.JPG He has already established himself as a great writer with yellow covers and stylish books, and in the reform of Kansei, he suffered a brushstroke (50 days of the hand chain), but he created a solid and solid family business, based on it. I will play my skills in the field of reading books, comic books and evidence. When it comes to multi-artists, it is often easy to imagine a strange person type, but Kyoden seems to have been a perfect person and a tsujin in terms of personality.

 Utaro Noda, a pioneer of literary walks, described Kyoden as a "Ginza-like person" and wrote this.

"I think Kyoden Santo, who was a smart person of the Edo era, drew dramas and ukiyo-e, and had a Direttant-like culture, and was also a business talent, I think that I am a Ginza-like person."

Genkichichoan ★Japanese sweets at the Ginza Main Store

[Mapo ★] Nov. 24, 2010 14:00

I've used Genkichichoan's Japanese sweets several times at Ginza Matsuya, but I've used them.
It was my first time to go to the Ginza Main Store.

It's a very splendid and elegant atmosphere.

SH3F0036.JPG SH3F0037.JPG

Discover a bun called Tokyo Ginza Anmo! This seems to be a limited product.
It looks good as a souvenir for homecoming~!
Kuri Gagaku and apple fruits are limited to season.

RIMG5260.JPG RIMG5270.JPG

Both "Ginza Anmo" and "Kuri Gagaku"
It is surprisingly moist (the dough and bean paste).
However, it is delicious with elegant sweetness~ (*^^*)

The apple fruit is not a smooth jelly, not a smooth jelly.
It feels like a hardened apple.
You can taste real apples with a rough texture.

There is a tea dormitory on the second floor, and above the restaurant "Ginza Shoto Iki" is a Japanese restaurant.
There is also a kaiseki shop "Shoto" (4th, 5th and 6th floors).

Next time at the tea dormitory, I would like to have fresh confectionery (*^^*)

We received permission from the public relations person to shoot and received a business card.

Worrisome police box <Tsukiji station>

[Sam] Nov. 22, 2010 08:15

 Japan has a reputation worldwide for its good security. It is said that the existence of "KOBAN", which has been nurtured over a long history and has now become an international language, is also great. There are various police boxes in the police box, such as those that stand out in the city, and conversely those that are built to blend into parks and surrounding landscapes and buildings. It's also interesting to take a closer look at the police boxes around the city.

This time, I would like to introduce a "police box" within the jurisdiction of the Tsukiji Police Station.

  <Sukiyabashi police box>

It was built as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Cultural Design Project.

On the pointed roof, the outer wall is made of bricks inspired by Ginza Brick Street in Meiji period. At the time of the design presentation, there is an anecdote that the design model on the roof was not in time, and when the gusset needle was temporarily suspended and proposed, it was adopted as it was.

The word "KOUBAN", which has now become an international language, is on the front.

  <Ginza 4-chome police box>

It was built as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Cultural Design Project.

With a mirror-like exterior designed with space constraints, the cityscape of Ginza is reflected on the wall and blended into the surroundings.

A safety frog was previously placed on the roof, but now it has been removed.

By the way, the police box is located in Ginza 5-chome.

  <Ginza 1-chome police box>

It was built as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Cultural Design Project.

A roof designed to resemble a cod jewel attached to the main pillar of Kyobashi when it was replaced in 1922, which was preserved opposite the road.

The exterior wall is made of bricks inspired by Ginza brick street in Meiji period.

It is called a round window and a good eaves, and has a rounded appearance with corners.

 <Ginza 8-chome police box>

The area around 8-chome used to be called Shimbashi Hanamachi.

At present, there are high-class clubs. There are also many galleries and galleries in the neighborhood.

It is called the color of the building, the shape, and the appearance is assimilated around.

Place a landmark (signboard) for the placement of women police officers.

  <Miharabashi Community Safety Center>

It has a metallic cylindrical appearance.

A large four-story building.

When viewed from the side, it looks like a space shuttle launch pad.

Since April 1, 2007, it has been operated as a "Local Safety Center".

  <Central Market Police Box>

Located in Masakadowaki, Tokyo Central Wholesale Market (Tsukiji Market), the kitchen of Tokyo residents.

The roof seemed to resemble a police officer's hat.

24h. It plays a role in supporting the safe living of local people in the sleepless block.

pencilIn addition, the police box has a landmark (signboard) that enhances visibility so that the place stands out even from a distance, and makes the design familiar to the police box.
There are three types of landmarks.

   ①                 ②                 ③

   RIMG1014RS.JPG   RIMG0909RS.JPG   RIMG0911RS.JPG

①Main stations, sightseeing spots, major facilities where many people gather, police boxes near major roads, etc.

②Police boxes near residential areas, shopping streets, kindergartens, schools, etc.

③Police box where female police officers are located

Illumination II<Ginza Area>

[Sam] Nov. 18, 2010 09:15

  Christmas illuminations, an annual feature of the New Year's season that colors the night sky of Ginza, have begun.

1-chome (Paula) ⇒ 2-chome (Marronnier Gate Belvia Hall, Mikimoto Boutique Cartier Tiffany) ⇒ 3-chome (Plantan) ⇒ 4-chome (Mikimoto / Wako) ⇒ 5-chome (Tasaki Shinju) ⇒ 6-chome (Matsuzakaya / Kojunsha Building) ⇒ 7-chome (Shining Nocue.

This year, the clock tower part of the Wako Main Building was newly lit up for the first time since its completion in 1932.The openwork of Arabesk (arabesque) under the dial emerges beautifully, and the clock tower and 36 windows from the second to seventh floors in front of the building are shining like a tree with LED illuminations.
It is said that every hour (16:00 to 24:00), light-up is performed according to the chime.

In the town of Shamise's performance...

[Shitamachi Tom] Nov. 15, 2010 08:30

201011 Shimbashi Enbujo. jpg

It is the season when the tree wilt blows, and the news of autumn leaves arrives here and there. If you think about this year, you will only leave another month and a half.

One night, I went in front of [Shimbashi Enbujo] in Ginza 6-chome, Chuo-ku. In the past, the "turret" that was allowed only to be officially certified playhouses was lit up. During the renovation and closure of [Kabukiza], this is to protect the base of Kabuki.bell

Performed by Shimbashi. jpg

November is a "face-to-face performance" as usual. In the first place, "face-to-face" was a project to show off actors performing in a one-year performance, but now it has become a feature of late autumn.

2011 Jiji Communications Company. jpg

After Tokyo, a "face-to-face performance" will also be held in Minamiza, Kyoto. It is a gorgeous play where famous actors from east and west come together, and Kabuki fans are looking forward to it.

A Christmas tree, which had already been set up in the nearby Jiji Press Building, was emitting a pale glow.

It was a night walk while feeling the sense of the season.
