"Foreign Traveler Hospitality Customer Service Course" I learned a lot.

[Silver] August 2, 2016 12:00

Chuo-ku Ward Residents' Department Commerce and Tourism Division has held five “Foreign Traveler Hospitality Customer Service Courses” since July 6th.

Participated in the first "Inbound latest situation and understanding of different cultures", the second "English that can be used immediately-basic-" and the fourth English "English that can be used immediately-step-up-" Was. General companies and individuals cost 5,000 yen, but companies and shops that are members of the Chuo-ku Tourism Association are half price 2,500 yen.

The first "Inbound Latest Situation and Intercultural Understanding" is, as the title suggests, in addition to the latest situation and cross-cultural understanding of tourists coming from foreign countries, such as Chinese visiting by bombings, to understand customers coming from overseas. It is to try. "Eliminate preconceptions and beliefs for foreigners," "hospitality," and "customer service." "Customer service" requires aggressive sales that goes one step ahead, "know and accept different cultures", foreign customs (taboo), and rounding the thumb and index finger that express money in Japan Is completely different from country to country. And there is no so-called foreigner or Chinese. It means that each individual has a difference in temperament and diversity.

In the second English, “Everyone that can be used immediately-basic”, “hospitality”, “basic English”, and “knowledge / different culture” are “hospitality”, “basic English” and “knowledge / different culture”.

・You will be happy and have fun with your usual hospitality

・Actively speak and deepen mutual exchange in basic English.

After learning that, in English role-playing, we talked in English about the basics of customer service English with the M Department Store Ginza store.

In the fourth English, "Everyone that can be used immediately-step-up-", I learned English that would be useful by sharing roles with the sales staff of a Japanese paper shop with a history of more than 300 years. .

In "Easy-to-use English-Step-up-", I learned phrases such as "I recommend shopping in Nihonbashi" and "I recommend shopping in Ginza" and improved my skills.

Before learning English, I learned from the instructor, "Basic customer service should be like this!"

It's a beautiful gesture, a flowing behavior and a way of serving customers. The response is wonderful or beautiful. I had a very good feeling.

Such a wonderful lecturer also taught us how to respond to customers who have little common sense. An example is "the scene of changing baby diapers in the store."

Don't lose your beautiful smile, with your eyes (mejikara) and <Please!>And the gesture that leads to the toilet

The participants' sympathy and laughter were given to the way to preach with a strong will from the elegant and soft waist.

In that sense, it was a "foreign tourist hospitality course" that I learned a lot. Also, I'd like to go to study.

Added: When I headed to Chuo-ku government office by Edo bus, I saw a little older landlady than me going to the customer service course. It's a business opportunity to entertain foreigners who came here, so I felt the enthusiasm that it was only about customer service English.

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] August 1, 2016 16:00

soapc01.JPG

At this time, the "Soap & Fruit Carving Exhibition" is held every year at Gallery Ginza 2-chome in Ginza.

I introduced it in this blog before.

soapc02.JPG

This year, the event will be held for three days from July 29 (Fri).

Carving work of watermelon () exhibited at the venue

soapc03.JPG

Soap & Fruit Carving is a traditional craft of the Kingdom of Thailand with a history of more than 700 years, and literally engraves fruits such as soaps, watermelons, and melons.

At the venue, the works of teachers of the carving class, atelier Be Free and the students of the classroom are displayed.

soapc04.JPG

When you enter the venue, it smells like soap.

I'm sorry I can't tell you.

soapc05.JPG

A number of works with wonderful delicate and precise sculptures on soap

I don't think it's a very soap

soapc06.JPG

This year, works that express Katori Fugetsu and works that emphasize 3D are conspicuous.

Do you believe these are also soaps?

soapc07.JPG

I am overwhelmed by the exhibition of carving works of fruits such as watermelons and melons carved all at once the day before the event, but I heard that the holding period is limited to three days due to the shelf life of the fruit.

soapc08.JPG

In addition, we received special consent from the teacher regarding photography at the venue.

Thank you very much

The period is from July 29 (Fri) to September 19 (Mon) in Tokyo, sales will be made at Tokyo Metropolitan Government stores and Shibuya, etc.
However, there are few stores that handle all products, and Tokyu Plaza Ginza is one of the few stores.

We entered at the same time as the opening of the store 11 in the morning, but there was already a long line.

I think many customers have experienced the Tokyo Olympics in 1964.

After all, everyone would like to enjoy the excitement of that time again. I'm one of them.

P7290603_07.jpg It's more than an hour to wait and finally get inside.

T-shirts with sin of the Japanese team were also displayed. I've also seen the signs of gymnastics Kohei Uchimura and Kenzo Shirai.

Here's the straps and pin batches I bought today. It is wonderful that the original design of the Olympics based on blue is also drawn on the bag for storing the products. Unfortunately, the polo shirt you're looking for was already sold out.

While thinking about the Tokyo Olympics four years from now, I would like to support the Japanese athletes of the Rio Olympics that will begin.
