[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 22, 2018 12:00

The hydrangea season begins.

ajisai201801.JPG

On the map below, the street from Showa-dori to Miyoshi Bridge (blue part), there are many kinds of hydrangeas planted, each of which is beginning to bloom.

ajisai201800.jpg

Hydrangea (hydrangea) is a deciduous shrub of the Hydrangea family Hydrangea.

ajisai201802.JPG

It is widely cultivated for ornamental use in Japan, Western Europe, the United States, etc., and many varieties are produced.

ajisai201803.JPG

Hydrangea ancestor is a bigleaf hydrangea native to Japan, which is lined up around the inflorescence, and is called "forehead bloom" in horticulture.

ajisai201804.JPG

Hydrangea, which has changed from bigleaf hydrangea and has a spherical inflorescence and has all become ornamental flower, is called "temari bloom".

ajisai201805.JPG

In this street, there are bigleaf hydrangea and temari blooming hydrangea, as well as Kashiwaba hydrangea with conical inflorescences and leaves similar to Kashiwa-no-ha.

ajisai201806.JPG

Hydrangea has a good flowery and can be enjoyed for a long time, but the part that looks like a hydrangea flower is not a petal, but a calyx.

One of the ways to enjoy hydrangea is that you can enjoy the color of this calyx slightly changes.

Hydrangea on Matsuya-dori is also beginning to bloom.

ajisai201809.JPG

In addition to these streets, many streets in Chuo-ku, you can enjoy hydrangea in the park.

Here is a blog that introduces hydrangeas that are blooming in the same street two years ago. ⇒

Gumclean festive~ the sidewalk of Ginza Street~

[Tokyo Dumbo] May 21, 2018 18:00

The sidewalk of Ginza Street is clean every time you go. It is said that the Ginza Street Federation entrusts a specialized contractor twice in the morning and afternoon on the 364th, excluding New Year's Day, picking up trash on sidewalks, flower beds and tree-planting zones, uncollected cardboard, traffic lights, street lights, etc. It seems that if there is a flyer or leaflet stuck on the pole, it is collected together.

One morning, when I was walking along Ginza Street, there was a group working with unfamiliar machines, so I heard about it.

It is said that the gum on the sidewalk has been removed by a water jet on behalf of the Ginza Street Federation.

The black thing that came with Pochi Pochi is peeled off beautifully.

The machine you use is called Gumclean, which seems to be the machine that HONDA makes.

It means that the members of the Ginza Street Federation are always working hard to protect beautiful and fun Ginza. Ginza will not be possible in one day.

This is the logo mark of the Ginza Street Federation.

The design is based on eight weights used in the silver castinghouse during the Edo period, after Ginza 8.

Kinshibai at the base of Miyoshi Bridge

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 18, 2018 14:00

kinsib201801.JPG

Miyoshi Bridge, which spans in front of Chuo-ku government office, is a bridge of "Mitsumata" that has a very distinctive shape of the bridge, and when viewed from above, it is a "Y shape" bridge.

kinsib201802.JPG

Under the bridge, the Metropolitan Expressway Toshin Beltway runs, but in the past there was a river called Tsukiji River.

kinsib201803.JPG

The current Miyoshi Bridge is also a bridge where "Ginza Yanagi-dori St.", which runs on the border between Ginza 1-chome and 2-chome, crosses the "Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway".

kinsib201804.JPG

At the foot of this bridge, there is an explanation board describing the history of Miyoshi Bridge, and according to the explanation, this bridge is located at the bent point of the Tsukiji River (Kaedegawa / Tsukiji River connecting canal) was opened and the river became a three-pronged form, as part of the reconstruction plan after the Great Kanto Earthquake, 2019.

It seems that the form of the bridge is "Micro-shaped simple steel plate girder bridge".

kinsib201800.jpg

Also, in the planting space at the base of this bridge, a lot of yellow flowers are now blooming.

It's the place on the map above, red.

kinsib201805.JPG

Kinshibai (Kinito plum) is a semi-deciduous small shrub belonging to the family Euphoraceae, which is native to China.

kinsib201806.JPG

The origin of the name is that the shape of the flower resembles a plum and the color is yellow.

kinsib201807.JPG

If a lot of bright yellow flowers are blooming, it alone will make your feelings brighter.

[Mapo ★] May 17, 2018 18:00

It's been a year since Ginza Lecan was reopened.
There is a lecan that you can go more easily in Ginza.
That's Rotessley Lecan, which I wanted to go for a long time!

I've been to buy bread and fruit cakes, but I've been to buy them.
This is my first restaurant.

Since it was lunch, I made it 3326 yen (including tax) for course A.
There are also amusements, appetizers, and you can choose.
It's a very fulfilling lunch, as expected!

The glass wine is also available in the Loire white and Spanish red.
Both were delicious and reasonable.

Flowering of Kashiwaba hydrangea [Sukiyabashi Park]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] May 15, 2018 18:00

Surrounded by Ginza 5-chome, Yasuaki Elementary School, Tokyu Plaza Ginza, and Harumi-dori St., Sukiyabashi Park is located.

It was once the Sukiya Bridge built over the outer moat of Edo Castle.

kasiwa201801.JPG

There is also a "Young Clock Tower" by Taro Okamoto in the park.

kasiwa201803.JPG

Several Kashiwaba hydrangeas (Kashiwaba hydrangea) in this park are beginning to bloom.

A deciduous shrub of the Hydrangea genus Hydrangea, native to southeastern North America.

kasiwa201804.JPG

Compared to other hydrangeas, the name is derived from the fact that the leaves are large and deep cut, resembling the leaves of Kashiwa.

kasiwa201805.JPG

In addition, a large conical inflorescence is also characteristic.

The part that looks like a flower is called "ornamental flower", which has greatly developed gaku.

kasiwa201806.JPG

This park plays an oasis role in the city, and now the only flower in the park, the white flower of Kashiwaba hydrangea, softened the hearts of those who are taking a break in the park.
