"Town" Monogatari...Hakozaki-cho Past and Past...Part 2

[Atsukyo Kotobuki] 17:00 on June 30, 2009

Among the many Edo pictorial drawings, the oldest with certain content is "Kanei era Edo map".

Two islands are lined up slightly to the right in the lower center of the figure, between which "Niihori" is written.

Niihori is the estuary of the current Nihonbashi River, on the left is Reigishijima, and on the right is Hakozaki. It is written as "town Ya".

The figure refers to the one in [Chuo-ku History Book / Nihonbashi Hen", but it seems that it shows the appearance of Edo city around Kanei 9 (1632), and by this time, islands and towns were already made It is certain that it was done.

On the other hand, the section of "Chuo-ku Chronicle" in Genwa 6 (1620) describes the meaning that Niihori was excavated and Machiya was built around this time, but this is based on "Tokyo Fushiryo". There is no mistake to see that it reflects the fact that Kita Niiborimachi and Hakozakicho were already on this island at this time.

With the establishment of the Genna era, it is natural that it was named after the so-called "Edo Furumachi 300 towns".

Recommended dentist "Nihonbashihamacho Area"

[crescent moon] 17:00 on June 30, 2009

Are there many people who don’t like the hospital? In fact, I am also very bad at the hospital.coldsweats02

I don't go until I feel the limit within myself, but among them, the dentist was not good at getting it.

However, since I have completed the treatment, I have a more reliable dentist to go through regular dental examinations, so I recommend it.

When my wisdom goes sideways and sometimes presses the back tooth in front of me, there is severe pain, and when I went to a different dentist before, I was told, `` If this is a way of sticking, I will not come out unless I am hospitalized at a large hospital and cut it off, '' I persuaded myself that it was still painful to endure and left it as it was for several yearssad

In the meantime, I moved to Chuo-ku, but I felt a severe pain near the limit in that part, so I decided to go to the dentist, but it was quite courageous to go to a dentist I didn't know in a new town That's right? My sister lives in this neighborhood several years earlier than I did, so I was asked to introduce a good dentist.

This is Yotsuba Dental Clinic. Located between Hamacho Park and Meijiza, it is safe because a female teacher gives an easy-to-understand explanation before treatment in a clean and modern facility. Treatment is polite and appropriate, and there is also a care of women. My sister and I had this dentist safely removed my wisdom without being admitted to a large hospital.delicious

In addition, since I could see it well with my front teeth, I had you finish the caries that I had been worried about for many years, and I felt the joy of cleaning my teeth as if I went to a beauty salon rather than a dentist. I've never experienced dental cleaning for regular inspections at other dentists, but it's very refreshing and pleasanthappy01

In addition to good treatment and a sense of security, Monday and Tuesday are open until 9pm, so it is convenient for those who work. We recommend that you make a reservation by phone in advance!

Anather side, Chuo-ku (vol4: Fuji from Hara)

[ww] 17:00 on June 30, 2009

hiroshige.jpgNihonbashi painted by Hiroshige.
A beautiful and dignified figure of Fuji behind it.

・Left: Nihonbashi Snow clear, right: Sukatefu (Surugacho)
  ・Both quotes from Net Wikipedia

By boldly superimposing Japanese symbols to the symbols of Edo, it conveys brilliant sensibility and deep feelings.

Turning out, from Nihonbashi today, you may not be able to see it unless you go up to a tall building, but there is actually a heart that thinks of Fuji in the city.

So there is also in Chuo Ward, such Fuji. I would like to introduce three things.

First of all, "World Yu Fuji".
Mount Fuji depicted on the wall of the bathroom of the public bath in Ningyocho, Worldyu.
The beautiful figure between the blue sky and the sea seems to be from the Kumomi coast of Nishiizu, and when you look at the bathtub in the sea, you feel like you are really in front of this scene.

shirayuki-fuji.jpg Next is "Shiroyuki Fuji".
Mount Fuji depicted in Konishi Shuzo's building (White Snow Building) on the shores of Kayaba Bridge. I guess that the mountain is related to "Fuji and sake is white snow".
The view from the vicinity of the Kakigara-cho intersection is good, especially in the current season, around 8:00 am, the black part that imitates the outline of the mountain glows golden, and the appearance of Fuji looks like white snow. It looks like floating.

minato-fuji.jpgFinally, "Tepposhu Fuji".
This is the Fujizuka of Tepposhu Inari Shrine.
Located at the back right of shrine hall, it is built to climb to the summit. The shrine located on the summit is reminiscent of the furthest shrine of Asama Shrine at the summit of Fuji, and the people of the Edo period have been impressed with their presence.

(The name of Fuji in the article is a tentative name for posting only, not a nominal name.) (ww)

Good Toroko in Chuo-ku 2 ~ Nihonbashi (1)~

[Ume-san] 17:00 on June 30, 2009

Mr. Ume.

Today is the second place in Chuo-ku @ Nihonbashi.Image 004.jpg

This is the famous water Shirakiya well behind Cored Nihonbashi. Inhabitants of Nihonbashi during the Edo period While struggling to secure good water, Hikotaro Omura, the second head of Shirakiya, a kimono dealer, was able to dig a well and present it to the Shogun family. At present, a stone monument stands as Designated Cultural Property, Tokyo. (Refer to the official text book for sightseeing j certification in Chuo-ku)

There is also a place behind the main street where you can feel the history of the Edo period, so please go and go!

This year's turn

[Tom downtown] 17:00 on June 30, 2009

20090628 Tsukiji Namiki Inari. jpgThis year, it’s already half coming. It's a turning point for a year.snail

Since ancient times, at the end of June, Shinto ritual has been held at shrines in various places to remove the impurities of six months and to eliminate evil diseases as "Nago Shinohara E". It seems that it is also described in <Engishiki> of the Heian period.

It seems that <Chinowa Goguri> is often run at this event. There are many historic shrines in Chuo-ku, which can be seen in several areas.

On this day, I visited [Tsukiji Namiki Shrine]. On the afternoon of a holiday when the drops of the rainy season drop quietly, it was time to look back half a year quietly.sprinkle

"May there be something good in the latter half of this year" ... I just pray for the development of a peaceful and bustling area.confident

The 11th Classical Performing Arts Appreciation (Saturday) June 20th

[crescent moon] 17:00 on June 30, 2009

From 6:00 pm on June 20 (Sat), I saw a classical performing arts appreciation party at Nihonbashi Theater in Nihonbashi Kumin Center.

When I was young, the grandmother on both sides was playing geisha waltz with a shamisen in the evening, and one of the grandmothers always stopped wrong in the same place, so I think I was not very good, but I loved the pleasant sound of the shamisen.

As you walk along the path of Ningyocho, you can still hear the sound of the shamisen occasionally. When there is a performance in Meijiza, a shamisen shop in amazake Yokocho may be playing. In such a case, I just stop and listen to the sound of the shamisen.confident

I had always wanted to go to a shamisen concert, but I learned about the classical performing arts appreciation party with a poster in Chuo-ku and watched it for the first time. It took about two hours, but I was impressed by the music and history of Edo, the story of Joruri Tokiwazu, the dance Yamato Raku, Gidayu, and the dance Kiyoharu. You can see performing arts in various fields at once, so it is recommended for beginners like yourself.

Those who perform and perform are members of the Chuo Ward, who follow the tradition from the Edo period, and perform wonderful arts once a year. There were interesting stories such as "6-year-old June 6 is better to start performing arts," and "Kanetsugu Naoe's residence is the current Metropolitan Police Department." And there are many people who come to see kimonos, and I am deeply moved to think that I was watching the play of Edo Shiza in this way in the Edo period. I'm looking forward to the next time.note
