"Ginza Hundred Points" is a booklet issued by the Ginza Hundred Store Association.
Aren’t there a lot of fans?
A Western painter, Kojiro Kosugi, draws an impressive, warm and modern cover picture.
I'm always looking forward to it.
An exhibition by Kojiro Kosugi will be held at Nihonbashi Takashimaya.
"Kojiro Kosugi Exhibition"
Exhibition Period: October 8 (Wed) to 14 (Tue), 2014
10:00 am to 8:00 pm (* Closed on the last day at 4:00 pm)
Venue: Nihonbashi Takashimaya, 6th Floor Art Gallery (2-4-1 Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku)
This is the first large-scale and full-scale solo exhibition in Takashimaya, and I'm looking forward to seeing a variety of works such as large oil paintings, three-dimensional works, and tea bowls.
Mr. Kojiro Kosugi used to draw a cover picture of the cooking text of "3-minute cooking", and his essay was also posted on the back of the cover.
Since my grandmother was subscribed to the text, I was in elementary school, and I was looking forward to the teacher's drawings and essays every issue.
I still have 36 books from 1980 to 1990, and I enjoy watching occasionally with my grandmother's memories.
The world depicted by Professor Kosugi, who lived in Paris at the time, was a great admiration for me as a child.
Delicious sweets such as British and Bis Cui, landlord Pierre, neighbor's cat-loving lady, strong bakery Madame, animals coming to the atelier's garden, liras and cherries, seasonal flowers and fruits ...
I was always looking forward to being able to get a glimpse of the life of people living in a foreign country that is out of reach.
After coming to Chuo-ku three years ago, I was really happy to find a touch of a nostalgic teacher's picture on the cover of "Ginza Hundred Points".
I'm looking forward to seeing you in the future.

At the Chuo Ward Local Tenmonkan (Time Dome Akashi), the second panel exhibition "Ryusei Kishida and Ginza-Memories of Ginza where I was born and raised" planned and produced by the supporter of the museum began on October 4th. Painter Ryusei Kishida's memoirs of Ginza since the Meiji period, which he serialized in "Tokyo Nichinichi Shimbun", is introduced in a panel with his own paintings and reference photographs. The exhibition will be closed on Monday until November 30, free of charge. For more information, see "News Center of Ward" (2014/10/1) HP here>>
Ryusei Kishida was born in Ginza in 1891. His father Ginka Kishida (1833-1905) served as a journalist and chief editor of the Tokyo Nichinichi Shimbun. In 1875, he opened the drug store "Rakuzendo" in Ginza 2-chome, and manufactured and sold Japan's first liquid eye drop, "Seikisui".
As a painter, Liu pursued a creative expression of painting, such as creating a "Reiko statue" modeled on her daughter.
Starting from the devastation of the Great Kanto Earthquake (September 1923) and aiming for the reconstruction of the Imperial Capital, the serialization of the "Tokyo Nichinichi Shimbun" (evening edition) began in March 1927 (1927).
In this series, Liu wrote a brush in May of the same year, entitled 'Shinkozaikurenga no Michisuji.' This exhibition introduces the 1st session on a panel. Liu, born and raised in Ginza, draws nostalgic scenes of Ginza before the earthquake with a sharp sensitivity of text and illustrations.
In the exhibition, the Ginza street house map of 1902 (1902) is posted, so you can see it in comparison with the panel text, and it is interesting to know the changes in Ginza and today's cityscape about 110 years ago.
Liu died two years after this writing at the young age of 38 in 1929. Akira Makibuchi

The Kabuki performance began with the 27th anniversary of Kanzaburo and the 3rd anniversary of Kanzaburo, the 18th anniversary of Kanzaburo. According to Kankuro's interview article, his grandfather told his father, "Be an actor who can perform parental pursuit at Kabuki-za," but he never thought that his father would join the subject of pursuit. "
I was looking forward to seeing all the performances related to the day and night. On the second day, I came to see the day part first. I'm with a friend who was "Kanzaburo Life".

The remains of the 17th and 18th generations are displayed on both sides of the lobby, and a replica of the hands of Kansaburo, the 18th generation.
"It's okay to touch" and my friend is no longer Uluru.

In the crowded audience, my friend seems to overlap Kansaburo and Shichinosuke with Kansaburo and has always been Urulu. A similar person was seen around me, and I renewed my recognition that he was really loved by customers and was an actor. Mr. Shichinosuke was good at the light of "Nozaki Village" and his grandfather, Shiba Kan, was also good at it. "Ise Ondo" is Kankuro's Mitsugu Fukuoka. Applauded when popular San Koyama appeared in Chino of Nakai. This is a luxurious version with Tamasaburo Nakai Manno and Nizaemon dating cook Kisuke.
At night, you can feel the history of Kabuki, where the performances of "Terakoya", "Mt. Yoshino", and "Sardines" that were good at predecessors and predecessors are surely passed down to the next generation.
In November, Shimbashi Enbujo will be the first new school appearance in the new school. Speaking of which, my aunt Kuriko Namino also saw the audience on this day.
