Japan's "high" Noh theater (Ginza Noh Theater)

[Tachibana] 09:00 on October 2, 2014

The other day, an acquaintance appeared, so I went to Ginza Noh Theater. Located alongside Sony Building along outer moat Street (Ginza 6-chome 5-15).

g-nogakudo3.jpgg-nogakudo4.jpg

This Noh theater is located on the 8th floor of a building with window features, so it is the tallest Noh theater.

Furthermore, since it is located in a place with a high land price in Ginza, it is the highest "Noh theater" in Japan in two ways.

g-nogakudo5.jpg

Kanze Noh Theater in Shoto, Shibuya Ward, is a redevelopment complex on the site of Matsuzakaya in 2016.
It will move with the completion of the building.

Ginza is the land where the residence of the Kinshun family, who was a Noh actor directly under the Shogunate during the Edo period.
Speaking of Noh, the era of Ginza may come in the future.

Autumn walk in Chuo-ku (Ginza to Nihonbashi)

[Grandpa] 17:30 on October 1, 2014

The weather is quite autumn.

I was invited by the fresh air and went for a walk.

Speaking of walking in Chuo-ku ... After all, it's "Gin Bra"!

This day is a holiday! Chuo-dori in Ginza is a pedestrian paradise.

P1000773.JPG

The scenery of Ginza is changing every moment,

The symbol of Ginza 4-chome intersection is still alive.

P1000775.JPG

P1000777.JPG

If you look around, you will find that hot topic and famous brand shops lined up.

As expected, it was the lively atmosphere of Ginza.

P1000772.JPGP1000771.JPG

Today, we are going straight on Chuo-dori and aiming for Nihonbashi.

On the way, pass through Kyobashi, and you will find a monument to the birthplace of Edo Kabuki!

P1000781.JPG

It's Nihonbashi Takashimaya, which I've seen as going further.

P1000783.JPG

I'm going on.

Finally, Nihonbashi!

The Kirin statue in the center of the bridge is a popular shooting spot as ever.

P1000788.JPGP1000790.JPG

When you cross the bridge, you can see the topic of Cored Muromachi.

But... there is a very busy place next to it...

P1000792.JPG

It was "Nihonbashi Shimanekan"!

Are you the fever of that player who was very active in the U.S. Open? It's a great success!

"Shimanekko" and enter inside,

What! An empty case...

Or maybe the “root” has been sold out?

P1000798.JPGP1000799.JPGP1000797.JPG

The lion on the other side was a little surprised...

P1000793.JPG

As mentioned above, walking in Chuo-ku in autumn was full of highlights!

Shadow Box Art by Mrs.Yabuki

[Ginzo] 09:00 on October 1, 2014

From September 1st to 6th, the "Shadow Box Mrs. Yabuki Works Exhibition" was held at St. Luke's First Gallery.

This is the first time I hear the word "shadow box". I saw the work with interest. First of all, I was struck by the words of the greeting.

         Greetings

Thank you very much for visiting the exhibition of Shadow Box Mrs. Yabuki Akie's work exhibition.

When I held my first solo exhibition, I was very confused about which works to display.

Each work has its own memories, and it reminds me of the 33 years since I started the shadow box.

Thank you for being very happy to be able to present this way.

We hope that you will have a memorable time.

Please take a look at it.

And welcome board at the entrance

In the work, the same picture is cut and pasted up and down to give a three-dimensional feeling, and it has a very heavy feeling.

When I saw some of the works from the front,

When I saw the work diagonally,

I was a very elegant and gentle teacher, and I wanted to learn it.

It is said that the Ginza Christian Church has held exhibitions many times. Next time I’m looking forward to seeing where you can see it.
