◆Autumn Chuo-ku History Walk 2014 "Walking in the Reclaimed Land in the Early Edo Period"-2nd Okawabata, Nakasu, Hamacho edition-

[Akira Makibuchi / Sharakusai] December 4, 2014 14:00

The second part of the Autumn Chuo-ku History Walk 2014 "Walking in the Landfill in the Early Edo Period" was held on November 30 (Sun). This historical walk is a series that explores the origins of Chuo-ku, and is the second installment following the spring "Walking on Edo Maejima". A plan to walk a landfill in the early Edo period, which was formed before the Great Fire of the Meiryaku era (1657), looking at an old map. Following the first 11/22 Kyobashi, Hatchobori, and Shinkawa editions, the second was held in Okawabata, Nakasu and Hamacho editions. The event is the Chuo-ku Cultural Property Supporters Association of Town Walking Volunteer Guide Group. For more information, "News of the Ward" No. 11/1, here>>

The second day was cloudy but calm late autumn. Depart from near Kayabacho 1-chome intersection. This is a course that walks through the Nihonbashi area. After the ruins of Inaribori, go to the ruins of Gyotoku riverbank. It is a land from the early Edo period when boats came and went to Narita. The area around Minato Bridge has no expressway over the sky and has a good view. From Takao Inari, the place founded by the Bank of Japan to the Sumida River Terrace where you can see Eitai Bridge.

After crossing the Sumida River Ohashi Bridge, the Nakasu district will soon be. The Fukagawa on the opposite bank is the birthplace of cement industry along the Sendaibori River. Enter Nakasu, which has been reclaimed repeatedly. Take a look at Kiyosu Bridge, a national important cultural property, and go to the site of Masago-za. After passing under the highway through the monument of the site of Mebashi, Hamacho. The site of Tokiwa-kai Hisamatsu House was where Shiki Masaoka boarded. Go along the Hamacho Green Road while stepping on the colored leaves. I went through amazake Yokocho and broke up near Ningyocho Station. @ Akira Makibuchi

Kinshu no Hamarikyu 2014

[Silver] 09:00 on December 4, 2014

On November 28, this day seems to have been named as a perfect day (and to become) for visiting gardens in Tokyo with the word "good garden".

I'm not fooled by such PR words, but I don't remember visiting Hamarikyu Garden, which I usually love, in late autumn.

Then, as I visited, I would like to report on the "good garden".

The autumn leaves of the garden right after entering the park. Japanese maple was beautifully turning red.

After passing through the ruins of the Liao Pavilion, the left hand side of a short walk away.

Kofukuzakura and Japanese allspice were blossoming.

And it is the scene in front of the teahouse in Nakajima.

On the promenade in Yae-zakura, I visited in spring.

There is a couple who enjoys a leisurely walk on weekdays.

No, Hamarikyu on weekdays is spacious and it is a really healing space.

Is the best time to see the autumn leaves in late autumn until around December 7?

Please go out as soon as possible.

In the large garden where falconry is performed at the beginning of the year, mothers with toddlers about 2 years old (do you call mom friends?)

On the lawn, the parents and children were cheerful and cheerful.

GINZA ILLUMINATION 2014 <Michi Hikari>

[Sam] 09:00 on December 4, 2014

R0031561ELS.JPGR0031577RSG.JPG On December 3, the illuminations of "Hikari Michi 2014" are lit in the city of Ginza.

Lighting period: Until January 18, 2015

Lighting time: 15:00~24:00

This year's theme is "Light that illuminates the future."

As in last year, around 74 glowing triangular pillars, along Ginza-dori (Chuo-dori) 1-chome to 8-chome, Harumi-dori St. from Sukiyabashi to Ginza 4-chome intersection, about 180,000 specially developed "special champagne gold" colored LEDs wrap gorgeously.

On Ginza Street, a ring that means "hope" shines on the upper part of the glowing triangular pillar, and on Harumi-dori St., guardrails and streetlights are decorated, creating a fantastic Hikari Michi.

A design inspired by such a situation where the thoughts of the people coming and going are connected and spread to a shining ring.

This is the fourth year of the “GINZA ILLUMINATION” project, which was started with the wish of the reconstruction of Tohoku.

This year, a new symbolic art work that embodys that thought has been newly installed and posted.

One is the 2m high spherical object "MOON" installed along the road near the 4-chome intersection.

The other is the art work exhibited at the Rumbini Art Museum in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture, which supports and displays art activities for people with disabilities, posted on the temporary wall at the construction site at the corner of the 4-chome intersection.

In addition, during the illumination period this year, a charity donation box for Tohoku reconstruction support is provided in the supporting stores and stores that agree with the purpose.

"Doburoku Festival" at Koami Shrine

1. December 3, 2014 19:00

It takes a few hours to cross the Togetsu-kyo Bridge and hunt the autumn leaves. In the fall of fruit, we celebrate the harvest of the year regardless of the east and west of the West, such as young sake festivals such as Oktober Fest and Bojolai Nouveau or Sunkus Giving andNiiname-no-Matsuri. On November 23, Niiname-no-Matsuri was held at shrines in the Imperial Palace and all over the country, and at Koami Shrine, the Doburoku Festival was held on November 28, in which worshipers were served in front of the shrine along with new grains (Nigori sake brewed with fresh rice from the year in Shinsenda). When you get off the Ningyocho station, you will hear the sound of a whistle. A large number of worshipers are waiting for their turn on the grounds that are not very large. Koami Shrine has been worshiped as a god of fortune and prosperity of business, which is said to have originated from Inari Shrine, which was enshrined at Koamiyama Manpukuji Temple built in the Muromachi period.

I'm right away. When you finish your visit, a cute Mr. Miko recommends you doburoku next to you. There were 3 sizes. "Doburoku" is said to be specially made for this purpose, "It cannot be obtained elsewhere." I got it in the smallest size, but it's quite dark and strong. "Mizuku of good luck evil" made of Susukiki will be awarded for a fee. (2,500 yen)

I washed 200 yen with Zenirai Benten. Will it be 400 yen in a few days? And on the way home, thinking about the stupid things again. "Sato Kagura", which is designated as a country-designated Intangible Cultural Property dedicated from 12:30, cannot be seen due to the following schedule. I'm looking forward to next year.

View from the river terrace [Kachidoki]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] December 3, 2014 14:00

Tomorrow is the last Sunday morning of November, the last Sunday morning of November, it is clear without clouds, there is no wind, and the Sumida River seen from the river terrace of Kachidoki is beautifully reflected on the buildings on the other side (Tsukiji side). .

From the left, you can see the Nichirei Higashiginza Building, Sumitomo Life Tokyo Head Office Building, and St. Luke's Tower from the left.

Nichirei has a connection to Tsukiji, which started from processing and refrigeration of marine products to the current Nichirei Co., Ltd. after its predecessor, "Imperial Fisheries Control Co., Ltd." and changed its trade name to Nippon Reizo K.K. Co., Ltd. It is a company.

katid1.JPGTurning to the downstream side, the skyscrapers of Tokyo Tower and Minato-ku were still beautifully reflected over the new Tsukiji Ohashi Bridge.

katid2.JPGDuring this time, there were no ships going back and forth between the Sumida River, and the river surface was like a mirror.

R0031399RRS.JPG On November 28, the illuminations of "Nihonbashi Sakura-dori St." (Sotobori-dori St.-Showa-dori), "Yaesu Nakadori" (Eitai-dori St.-Yaesu-dori), and "Yaesu Center Building Open Space" are lit.

Lighting period: November 28-February 14

Lighting time: 16:30~23:00

This year's theme is "GATE".

"Sakura-dori St.", which leads from Tokyo Station to Edo Nihonbashi, expresses the "gate of light" and focuses on "Yaesu / Nihonbashi", which connects the past, present, and future, and thinks about the historic city.

 1.Sakura-dori St. Illumination

The cherry trees facing each intersection are white LEDs (44,000 bulbs)

The cherry tree between each intersection uses champagne gold LEDs (110,000 bulbs)

 2.Nakadori Illumination

   Symbol illumination of Edo Kiriko

3.Square in front of the Yaesu Center Building

A triangular pillar with lights inside

On the surface is Edo Kiriko's "Hemp leaf cutter pattern"

The area from Yaesu to Nihonbashi is undergoing a transformation every day, but I heard that it was adopted as the main visual because of the desire to learn from Edo Kiriko, "It is important that old and new things be integrated and developed."
