A lot of good things! marche Hamacho (April 2017)

[Edamame] April 22, 2017 18:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

The other day (April 16 & 17), a market event in the neighborhood of my home.

"Hamacho marche" was being held!

IMG_2543-1.jpg

※It is an event that is held regularly.

I think I will introduce you several times in the future.

Therefore, "Year / Month" is included in the title.

This is the 8th event that started about two years ago.

There are many stores this time, and it is full of people.

The place is right next to the intersection of "Hamacho Nakano Bridge".

Tornale Map. jpg

Complex facilities such as condominiums, office buildings and shopping

This is the square of "Tornale Nihonbashihamacho".

IMG_2544-1.jpg

First of all, prepare your stomach ...

It is a food stall where Ningyocho Shopping Street is open!

IMG_2538-1.jpg

IMG_2542-1.jpg

The very popular Ningyocho steak last time!

This time, it was a little time.

What a delicious restaurant with two major beef in Ningyocho

It is the meat of "Hiyama" and "This half"!

It's usually a Takamine flower shop, but I'm very satisfied if this is 700 yen.

The meat is also soft! It was delicious.

And next to it

IMG_2539-1.jpg

"Daikon no Araki" was also a small and cute seller.

The taste of radish is also stain

It seems that the 1-year-old daughter, Azuki, also loved it.

And the restaurant Elinor

IMG_2545-1.jpg

It's a mama's special Torotoro borcich.

IMG_2546-1.jpg

Both meat and vegetables are really thick! I did it

It's also authentic that sour cream is attached!

Well, then, I'll go shopping

First of all,

IMG_2548-1.jpg

100% straight orange juice that looks delicious!

IMG_2549-1.jpg

It was not too sweet, and I could taste the refreshing orange itself.

Is it okay if I drink azuki? ?

It is called "the dining table of the furnace."

At this shop

IMG_2551-1.jpg

amazake, which is also featured on TV, seems to be famous.

There were a lot of rare things that could not be seen easily.

And here's

IMG_2552-1.jpg

"Katsunori no Farm."

https://www.facebook.com/KatsunoRinaFarm/

We also handle juices and sweets, mainly for the cultivation of pesticide-free vegetables.

I know the existence of this pesticide-free vegetable.

And the carrots I bought on trial were very sweet and delicious.

(and that's the same as the price in the supermarket)

That's why I thought something more delicious.

I also tasted very sweet carrot juice.

What I actually bought and went home

This turnip.

IMG_2553-1.jpg

The turnip is soft and chewable even for small children.

Today's standard vegetable in my home.

The leaves seem to be fresh and crisp.

Fruits and leaves are combined into miso soup.

My daughter, Azuki, also flattened.

It was delicious!

IMG_2547-1.jpg

Next time ... July 2nd (Sun) & 3rd (Mon)

It's a coincidence.

I'm going to have fun shopping again.

Minato Bridge and Cherry Blossoms

[Kantaro 2017] April 22, 2017 16:00

Minato Bridge, which connects Shinkawa (Ringishi Island) and Hakozaki area

In late March of this year, the cold days continued, and the Nihonbashi cruise ship sightseeing around the Nihonbashi River seemed to be cold, but I think the three arches of Minato Bridge also have a different taste in the cherry blossom season.

There is a bust of Siebold in Akatsuki Park.

[Shubo's Ten Hands] April 22, 2017 14:00

Siebold DSCN0647.jpgBust of Siebold

Siebold was a Dutch army doctor.

I was ordered to look into Japan not only for the doctor's work but also for trade with Japan. I arrived in Nagasaki in Bunsei 6 (1823). After that, he accompanied the head of Dutch trading post to Edo Sanfu, collected plants and animals on the way, and surveyed the height of the mountains. In Edo, I interacted with many doctors and scholars. At that time, we conducted an experiment with pupils. Genseki Habu heard that story, and Siebold taught me the chemical manufacturing method. The Shogun's family presented Aoi's crest clothing for the reward. Three years later, on his way home, the ship was wrecked, and a forbidden map of Japan and crest clothing were found, and after strict investigation, he was expelled from the country.

Siebold's daughter (Ine) also became a doctor, and a bust was built in connection with the opening of an obstetrics and gynecology department in Tsukiji.

Sekiyama is a charming sushi (store) where Kazuha blooms.

[Silver] April 22, 2017 12:00

At the intersection with Daimon Street, about 100 meters from amazake Yokocho in Ningyocho, there is Osaka Sushi Shop and Sekiyama. For a long time, the cherry blossoms in front of this store were interested in what kind of flowers would bloom and were looking forward to it.

DSC05001.JPG

In mid-April, Yae-zakura with lots of white flowers, Kazuha was in full bloom. Today, I was fascinated not only by sushi but also by Yae-zakura.

"Kazuha (Ichiyo)" is a double and light red Satozakura (oshima cherry). The pistil changes like a thin leaf (foliage), so it was named like this.

If you introduce the shop, it is a shop specializing in take-out. Various combinations of pressed sushi such as mackerel, salmon, sea bream, etc. are sold, thick rolled sushi and tea cloth sushi are sold. Please drop in once.

Meiji period's speech venue [Meiji Hall Ruins]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 22, 2017 09:00

"In the Meiji era, it was Yukichi Fukuzawa who translated English" speech "as a" speech "" was Yukichi Fukuzawa. "There is an explanation board in Ginza 3-chome.

meijika02.JPG

It's surprising that there was this explanation board in a place where I've been many times so far that I didn't notice it, that I couldn't overlook it.

meijika03.JPG

On the explanation board, there was "Meiji Kaido Ruins", and the explanation of this building was written.

According to the explanation, this Meiji Kaikan was built in 1881 with the idea of Yukichi Fukuzawa () in 1881, and it was an epoch-making "speaking venue" at the time when about 3,000 people could accommodate. . It is said that there was also a restaurant where about 200 people could enter.

Unfortunately, it was burned down during the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 (1923).

meijika00.jpg

The explanation board stands on the back street of Kabukiza, or on the north side street and on the four corners of Kibikicho street. It's just halfway from Showa-dori to the celebration bridge.

It's the red on the map above.

meijika01.JPG

When you go to Higashiginza, please stop by.

meijika04.JPG

A few meters from this explanation board, there is also a monument to the birthplace of Senshu University.
