A panoramic view of Tsukiji Market and Hamarikyu Garden

[Dharma] June 28, 2017 18:00

During the rainy season, the Tsukiji, Tsukishima and Harumi areas could be seen from the observation space on the 46th floor east of Carletta Shiodome. Below you are the Tsukiji Market (opened in 1935), which is about 23 hectares, five minutes of Tokyo Dome, and the Hamarikyu Onshi Garden (approximately 25 hectares), which is designated as a national special scenic spot and special historic site. Earlier, Tsukiji Ohashi, which is scheduled to open in line with the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, next to it is Kachidokibashi, completed in 1940, and Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, which was built in the year of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.

The Nihonbashi Tax Office will be completed soon

[Shiba Inu] June 28, 2017 14:00

_1020722.jpg
The Nihonbashi Tax Office has been under construction for a long time, but now it looks like this! It is a building that is moderately modern and has a Japanese taste. It will be completed in August and will start operations on September 19. The first floor will be a parking lot for users. The shops in the building, which the local residents had expected little....There's nothing in particular! I'm sorry!

New commercial buildings are being built one after another in Ginza, and by the time autumn begins, the scenery of Ueno-Okachimachi neighborhood changes. The redevelopment of the city, such as the development of the subway station premises, will continue for the Olympics, but the residential areas in Chuo-ku have also changed accordingly. I would like to leave the scene of Chuo-ku in Heisei on this blog as much as possible.

Extreme cherries in Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, a friendship city

[Nyan,] June 28, 2017 09:00

Until now, cherries have been described as "amake" on anmitsu. Fruits that you can put in your mouth without any hesitation, saying that you are eating because it is wasteful.
Speaking of Western food, it is like parsley on a salad with a hamburger.
Speaking of vinegar pork, it doesn't matter if it's like pineapple, but it's attached for some reason ...

I have to scold myself who had such a feeling! We have to completely change our perception! What I thought was ...
No other, since I started eating carefully selected cherries made in Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, a friendship city of Chuo-ku.

sakuranbo.jpg

Some people may have seen the name of "Fruit Kingdom Higashine" by wrapping the community bus "Edo Bus" running in the city. I was worried about wrapping the Edo bus, so I participated in the "Higashine Sakurambo Marathon" (half marathon) held in Higashine City every June.

This running event in Higashine is a popular tournament that has been selected as one of the "100 Runnings". A lot of hospitality and hospitality are the secrets of the popularity, but the biggest feature is the enhancement of the "Cherry" aid provided on the way! While I was running, I greeted "the number of cherries I ate a day, the largest day in my history." The pace of eating as an excuse slows down, just remembers more than records. I was very satisfied with the time.

Cherry carefully selected among Higashine products. When you have beautiful shining fruits, the elegant sweetness spreads in your mouth with "puffy" elasticity and the subtle acidity that complements it. This is delicious. After all, the real thing is different.

It is said that small but rich fruits make full claims ... Is it like Chuo-ku in Tokyo! ?
Please try delicious cherries.

(The photo shows the Higashi Cherry Marathon. An unusual course layout that allows you to run through the SDF garrison. You can also enjoy talks with celebrities in the running world, Kin, World Championships medalist Chiba and Ogiwara. )

There is also a bar lounge at Nihonbashi Toyamakan.

This time, I would like to introduce everyone.

This time, we also talked to Mr. Asano, sub-manager of Nihonbashi Toyamakan.

Toyama is one of Japan's most famous water villages, blessed with high quality water.

Made from clear water and carefully selected rice, locally brewed sake is one of the most famous sakes in Japan.

DSC02508a.jpg

Please use locally brewed sake, 17 breweries in the prefecture, tidbits unique to Toyama, and non-alcoholic soft drinks and amazake that boasts water, as well as places for relaxation and exchange.

Recommended drink comparison of 3 kinds of locally brewed sake (30ml each) and comparison of Toyama Kamaboko. If you like something, why don't you buy it at the shop corner?

The image on the right shows a comparison of three kinds of locally brewed sake drinking.

・・・ Another recommendation is the Toyama beef conbeef. This is an area of covetedness.

This bar lounge is one year since the opening of the Nihonbashi Toyamakan, so people who work for companies in the Nihonbashi area already know it. It seems that the number of people who can stop by at the end of work is increasing.

Nihonbashi Toyama-kan also has a Japanese restaurant.

Please enjoy Toyama Bay, which is a variety of fish species called "Natural Ikesu", and the delicious seafood of the four seasons.

agap001.JPG

It is said that the rainy season has begun in the Okinawa region, with the top of the whole country on the 22nd of this month, but this has not yet dawned, and the rainy season continues.

agap002.JPG

In such a sunny weather, the Agapanthus of Tsukiji River Kameibashi Park is beginning to bloom again this year.

agap003.JPG

There is a white and light purple Agapanthus at the Pele Near Garden (perennial plant's flower bed) in the park and at the entrance of the park.

agap004.JPG

Two years ago, when I introduced it on this blog on July 10, it was almost in full bloom, but this year it is still about to bloom.

agap005.JPG

Agapanthus is a flower with beautiful standing appearance and refreshing feeling even if it blooms in midsummer.

If you come near you, please drop in.
