Autumn season hiyagoshi

[Asunaro] September 15, 2017 14:00

In September, as the cool breeze begins to blow.
"Hiyagoshi" came out.

Heat-sterilized and aged only once in early spring, and the second time before shipment.
It will be shipped without burning the fire.

This time after summer is also called "summer sake".

It was a calm scent and a solid taste.

The taste will deepen with the deepening of autumn. I'm looking forward to it.

Calling Mexico Naval Sailing Ship

[Asunaro] September 14, 2017 09:00

The Mexican Navy's training sailing ship, Kuautemoku.

He went through the Rainbow Bridge in Tokyo Bay to serve as an international goodwill.

Anchored at Harumi Wharf.

It is unusual for a Mexican naval vessel to visit Japan for the first time in eight years.

I've seen the inside of the ship that was open to the public.

It's a very beautiful ship.

3 towering masts, polished deck,
The Mexican flag flutters in the wind.

It makes you feel the romance of the Age of Discovery.

The number of passenger ships coming from overseas is likely to increase.

Traces of Shoyo Ryukagawa River

[Asunaro] September 6, 2017 09:00

Canal of population dug after the Great Fire of the Meiryaku era (1657)
There was "Ryukagawa".

Beginning from the Nihonbashi River near Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, near Kodemmacho.
Then join the Hamacho River. The flow breaks at right angles, and as the Hamacho River, Hamacho.
It flowed into the Sumida River through Ningyocho and Hakozaki.

This river became the ward boundaries of Chiyoda-ku and Chuo-ku, and in 1950, the river became the ward boundaries of Chiyoda-ku and Chuo-ku.
After being reclaimed, Ryukan Children's Park (Chiyoda-ku), Ryukan Children
An amusement park (Chuo-ku) and a park with two names have been created.

Hearty summer-like luxury items

[Asunaro] August 18, 2017 09:00

In August, the weather will continue.

To Tsukiji Temple in search of summer-likeness.

The word "raw agar" written on the banner caught my eye.

The atmosphere inside the store is cozy and invited by the good scent of Amakusa.

I ordered "Shinta".

You can choose vinegar soy sauce or black honey.

 I'm shy. jpg

Boiled Amakusa from Kozushima Island.

It's a raw agar that doesn't bleach.

It has good flavor, moderate elasticity, and abundant minerals.

I enjoyed the taste of summer.

[Asunaro] August 14, 2017 12:00

The Reitaisai festival of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine is the Sanno Festival, the Kanda festival.
It is counted as one of the three major festivals in Edo.

 Komaban Table. jpg

On August 13, 53 portable shrines came together to form a coalition imperial procession.

Turn around Fukagawa from Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine.
Cross Kiyosu Bridge, cross the Eitai Bridge from Shinkawa, and return.

The bearers stretched their arms and gave portable shrine high.

Then, the song of woodworking and the gorgeous Tekomai led the way to Eitai Bridge.

As the name of the "Spring Festival", from crowds along the road to the bearer
The clean water is exposed, and the bearer and the audience are united.
It was very exciting.

Survive the heat with fresh soba

[Asunaro] August 4, 2017 09:00

It's at the height of summer.

It seems that a body wants cold noodles on a hot day.
Pass through the noren of Rikyu-an in Nihonbashi Muromachi.

 Rikyu-an. jpg

The aim is "Grated soba" with a refreshing taste.
Grated radish, lemon, laver, sesame, thread-cut bonito flakes,
I'll have a pure white sarashina soba with condiment green onions.

I thought it would be diluted with grated radish
The soup. After that, the soba hot water is also delicious.

Soba contains a lot of nutrients.
It is said to be a perfect meal in summer when appetite tends to decline.

Let's survive this heat by eating soba.
