Nihonbashi Takashimaya Kadomatsu and pine decorations New Year 2019

[Silver] January 5, 2019 12:00

I was wondering what kind of shape the bamboo of Kadomatsu to decorate during the New Year's Day at Nihonbashi Takashimaya was.

The upper part of the cut is equipped with safety measures. You can see a laugh at the cut. It's a good way to laugh.

As I wrote before, "Sogi" is cut diagonally in the way of cutting bamboo, and the one that is cut flat is "Shroto". This is flattened the top cut with "sogi" for safety.

The main building store was decorated with a real big black pine, and I was surprised. A lot of customers were taking pictures.

Inspired by the sake of Komono barrel, I wanted to toast with sake.

The show window is decorated with slaughterhouses, and the mood is in sake mode.

Paper pulp and paper hall Anpan persimmon history and name origin Date City, Fukushima Prefecture

[Silver] January 3, 2019 09:00

A lot of dried persimmons are hung in front of the paper pulp hall, making it a winter tradition. I think there are some people who feel nostalgic about their hometown.

DSCN3147 (400x300). jpg

The birthplace of "Anpo persimmon" was Yanagawa-cho, Date City, Fukushima Prefecture, and there was a panel with "Date Anpo persimmon".

DSCN3149 (400x300). jpg

And the history and the origin of the name were also described, so I will introduce it.

DSCN3148 (400x300). jpg

In summary, it is said that during the Holy Calendar period (1751-1763), a person named Nanaemon of Yanagawamachiisazawa brought and planted Hachiya persimmon trees. The persimmon was named "Shichiemon Kaki". Because the persimmon is peeled and dried in the sun, it came to be called "Amaboshigaki", and when it comes to Meiji period, "Amaboshigaki" is said to have come to be called "Anpo persimmon". <Omitted> "Deliciousness of nature which is finished with time and effort." Is it located at an antenna shop in Fukushima Prefecture? Look at "Midette"

Sakaya Nakajima Fisheries Ginza Hanatsubaki-dori, a place to drink and eat.

[Silver] January 2, 2019 18:00

When you come from Shiseido Parlour to see Hanatsubaki-dori Street, the building on the corner is the Shimbashi Kaikan building, and on the first basement floor, there is "Sakaya Nakajima Suisan, a place where you can drink and eat."

While we're meeting with our friend, some ladies come out after dinner. Everyone was taking a picture of the shop on a smartphone with a satisfied face.

DSCN3105 (400x300). jpg

This is a shop run by Nakajima Fisheries, a wholesaler of fisheries, and has a reputation for being "delicious fish".

Lunch is ¥1000 including tax for all four items. Today's grilled fish table "Salt grilled salmon" and "Aji fried table" are available.

"Ayaka Zen" seems to be very popular because it has two kinds of sashimi, silver cod Nishikyo pickles, salad, and two small bowls, and was sold out at 13:30. Next, I'll go early and order this.

Today's bowl, tuna, steamed scallop, tobikko, seafood bowl with hot spring eggs, and "Matsumae bowl" were delicious.

Lunch is until 15:00, and it's very kind to accommodate late lunch.

The evening starts at 5 o'clock in the evening, and it is recommended to have a drink with delicious appetizers.

※The interior of the store was clean with a warm atmosphere of wood grain, and the toilet seemed to use incense, and it was refreshing. Prices are as of December 26, 2018.

The address is 8-6-3 Ginza, Chuo-ku, telephone: 03-3572-4133

Ginza Wako New Year's outfit 2019

[Silver] December 30, 2018 09:00

New Year's Day 2019. The Chinese zodiac sign is the wild boar, the Pig.

In the Ginza Wako show window, you can see the energetic wild boar jumping.

DSCN3130 (400x300). jpg

The wild boar in the big show window in the middle was too fine and couldn't be captured in the photo.

And with Mount Fuji in the middle, you can also enjoy the decorations of Ichifuji, Nitaka, and Misubi.

Please enjoy it in Ginza during the year-end and New Year holidays.

I hope that the New Year will be the best year for you. Silver
