I took the 11th "Chuo-ku Tourism Test"

[Mido] February 6, 2019 14:00

We have taken the 11th "Chuo-ku Tourism Test" held on 2/3. Is the difficulty level generally as usual? From this theme "Heisei no Chuo-ku", the road of 1989, the latest information center, the ruins of the Sony Building, the structure of a national important cultural property that is not Heisei, the bridge created in Heisei, and the Tsukiji opened in 2016 The ridge of the fish shore was asked.

Also, from the photo problem, it was such a problem. (The actual problem is 4 choices and there is a little more detailed hint.) The answer will be posted in the lower section.

Until now, the official text "Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia" and the past problem collection have been sold for certification tests, but the problem collection will disappear in the future.

I think it would be nice to use the "Chuo-ku Tourism Certification de Time Attack" (http://www.chuo-kanko.or.jp/#we-page-quiz), which allows you to solve past questions on the WEB. .

Toward the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Test

[Mido] January 12, 2019 18:00

For those who are studying for the 11th (February 3rd) Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Examination, I will guide you through effective learning methods based on my experience so far.

Naturally, be sure to prepare the official text "Chuo-ku Mononoshiri Encyclopedia for Walking" and a collection of past problems. First, read the text diagonally and input the outline. You don't have to try to remember the details here, so you know the whole image. Next, let's try the collection of past problems intensively. You may only be able to do about 50%, but you don't have to worry too much. By solving past problems for three years, I think that you will understand the general tendency of questions.

For example, "The origin of ●●●", "■ people related to ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ The author of ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ The origin of ●●●”...The predecessor, old name, alias, current name" is often questioned. "Number" is also easy to make a problem, so remember the points related to numbers. Once you understand the approximate tendency of questions like this, I will read the text carefully. Mark this place where you think it's likely to come out and read the text repeatedly. I think it's a good idea to read it while assuming the filling problem on your own. Make sure you have a solid image of the photos and maps posted in the text.

Also, it is better to remember the events and news that have been around for the past 1-2 years. Because it is the theme of the 11th exam, "Heisei no Chuo-ku", problems related to Heisei are expected, so it may be fun to try Yama.

Recently, a site has been set up on the website of the Tourism Association to solve past questions called "Chuo-ku Tourism Certification de Time Attack", so I think it would be nice to use this.

The pass line is 75 points, so we do not aim for 100 points, but target 80 points. In other words, there is a feeling that you don't have to do 20 points. Please stay calm and do your best.

The origin of Nihonbashi

[Mido] Nov. 9, 2018 09:00

It goes without saying that various industries and cultures have been born in this city since Nihonbashi became the starting point of the Gokaido in Keicho 9 (1604). And there are many "Nihonbashi-born" born from this Nihonbashi.

(1)Gift certificate 1830 <Ninben>

The origin of the gift certificate was that a silver thin plate was issued in exchange for bonito. It was devised by the sixth generation of Ninben, and it is said that a silver thin plate worth about 3,500 yen was issued at the end of the Tokugawa period.

(2)Bank 1873 <Current Mizuho Bank>

The first bank (Daiichi National Bank) opened in Kabuto-cho. In the Edo period, the first national bank centered on Mitsui Gumi and Onogumi was established in Nihonbashi with the aim of unifying the financial economy. It is said that Eiichi Shibusawa served as general supervisor. At present, there is Mizuho Bank Kabuto-cho Branch, where information boards for "the birthplace of banks" are installed.

(3)Rickshaw 1870

Yosuke Izumi, who received a rickshaw business license in 1870, ran a rickshaw for the first time in Nihonbashi. It became popular because it was easy to turn around. Nowadays, it is often seen in tourist destinations nationwide and brings out the uniqueness of Japan.

(4)Postal System 1871

It was Maejima Mitsuru, known as the "father of modern postal mail" that established the postal system. In Nihonbashi, where transportation is convenient, Ekiji (later the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications) and a postal office (currently Tokyo Central Post Office) were set up, and the postal business began. Currently, there is the Nihonbashi Post Office in this area.

(5)Food originated in Nihonbashi

・Children's Lunch Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi provided as "Miko-sama Western Food" in 1930.

・This dish was served to friends by Uteki Hayashi, the founder of Hayashi Rice Maruzen.

・Tenzaru & Tenmori Muromachi Sandbox is made into Tsukemen to eat tempura soba deliciously even in summer.

・Oyakodon Ningyocho's "Tamahide" was devised by seeing customers who eat it with rice by binding the underwater remaining in the rice cooker.

・Eitaro, the first generation of Amanatto, devised a dish made by boiling kinto beans with honey.

・The first owner of Shino Ta Sushi in Inari Sushi Ningyocho made ingenuity and sold it.

・As a souvenir of Emperor Meiji's Yukiyuki Kyoto, Yamamoto-noriten's second generation tasted seaweed. Today it is sold as "tidbits Nori".

The Bank of Japan Exhibition in the Meiji Period @ Nihonbashi

[Mido] 18:00 on October 5, 2018

At the Money Museum in Nihonbashi, the special exhibition "Landscape of the Bank of Japan during the Meiji Period: the State of the Head Office Branch" is being held. This exhibition introduces pictures and photographs of the head office and branch buildings of the Bank of Japan during the Meiji period, the surrounding cityscape, and the scenery of the store at that time.

The Bank of Japan was founded in 1882 and started operations using existing brick buildings built by Josaiah Condor, but then the head office of the Bank was built in Meiji 29 (1896) as the first national modern architecture by Kingo Tatsuno, who was a leader in architecture at the time when he learned from Condor.

The Bank of Japan's branches will also start operations using existing buildings, and new stores with modern architecture will gradually be built throughout the Meiji period.

Through this exhibition, why don't you go back in time to the Meiji period 150 years ago?

Delicious and healthy delifas! DELI

[Mido] September 12, 2018 18:00

A shop where you can take out rice balls and smoothies that opened in May this year in the coworking space (clip Nihon Bashi) in Nihonbashi Honmachi. The name is "delifas! DELI" and is based on the concept of delicious and healthy.

The specialty of this shop is that all staff are qualified as dietitians, and all menus are handmade by the dietitian every day. In addition, it is said that the motto is "supporting the health and beauty of the working generation" with care for safety and security, such as using organic and reduced pesticides. .

The signboard menu "Vege Onigiri" is packed with colorful and vivid vegetables, meat and fish. Because it is rich in vegetables, it seems that it absorbs carbohydrates, suppresses the rise of blood sugar levels, and has a diet effect. The single item is 280 yen and the soup set is 500 yen.

Here's a part of the menu. ■Inside the silver jacket ■Salted mackerel vege ■Teritama vege ■Ginger-grilled beef ■Bibimbap ■Vegesoimite ■A lot of pork juice ■Tomato and paprika chick bean soup ■Ginger soup of root vegetables and beetle ■Consomme soup of beans, chicken and vegetables
