Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE "When weave the Time of Kenji Nonaka Exhibition"

[Mill] May 31, 2017 12:00

The event was held at Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE in Ginza 1-chome from May 10 to 14.

We visited "When weave the time of Kenji Nonaka exhibition".

DSC_5751.JPG

Mr. Nonaka is a dyeing designer and creator.

Founder of Hata-Ryusha, Nishijin Misobo in Kyoto.

This was the first large-scale solo exhibition.

As a culmination of yourself, it seems that you have been preparing for a few years ago.

Unfortunately, in March this year, when the venue composition and work were finished, he died suddenly.

The exhibition was held in a way that took over Mr. Nonaka's will.

DSC_5763.JPG

Even if the person's appearance is not present at the venue

From a number of beautiful works on display

Nonaka's personality, dyeing, weaving, and passion in the material seems to be transmitted.

I felt as if I was at the venue.

DSC_5761.JPG

The words of the theme of the exhibition were impressive.

The beginning is a drop of drop

 It was a murmuring,

Eventually, it will become a river.

Create the earth, pour it into the ocean, and

If you climb the sky, it will be a rain of grace.

 Return to the earth

It begins to flow as a brighter new life

In line with words that hear the sound of Smetana's "Moldau" can be heard, Nonaka's world was developed throughout the first to third floors of Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE.

DSC_5765.JPG

The color of Nishijin weaving, which is woven with pre-dyed yarn, is said to be life.

In order to create beautiful colors, the goodness of water is important, and Mr. Nonaka's feelings for thanking the existence of the water seemed to be transmitted.

The works born from the aesthetic sense cultivated in history and tradition had a very innocent and fresh impression.

The pure and mellow happiness filled the venue, and I felt again that something really beautiful was always mellow.

DSC_5741.JPG

An exhibition that combines kimono and obi with breathtaking beauty.

The exhibition method like an installation of contemporary art was very fresh, and I enjoyed the unique color matching unique to kimono.

While focusing on traditional manufacturing, Mr. Nonaka has been boldly innovating and continuing to play an active part in challenging completely new things.

I felt as if the entire exhibition taught me that it was possible to preserve tradition and pass it on to the next generation because it was constantly challenging and changing.

DSC_5747.JPG

During the exhibition, there were also events related to traditional Japanese culture by Gensho Umewaka, a Noh performer and an important intangible cultural property holder, Takaho Sasaoka of the former Sasaoka family, and Munei Kanazawa of the tea ceremony Urasenke body.

I participated for two days and was able to hear a lot of interesting stories.

Gensho Umewaka's lecture entitled "Nohmen and Tradition" includes talks about challenges to new things, such as performances overseas and co-starring with different cultures such as ballet, and valuable Noh masks brought. I was able to ask interesting stories.

At the talk show between Takaho Sasaoka and Munei Kanazawa, we were able to have a good time at the venue for the two people who spoke genuinely about the specialty fields of flower arrangement and tea ceremony without decorating.

At a workshop held by Mr. Sasaoka to live flowers in a small coffee cup, Mr. Sasaoka was impressed with the appearance of Mr. Sasaoka, who is using flowers to snuggle up with the feelings of the flowers.

In addition, Mr. Kanazawa's point, which was held on a different day, was also very popular with everyone.

A truly luxurious event by leading Japanese culture experts.

It was a very meaningful moment to feel the attitude of facing beauty with the obedientness like the flow of water, which is similar to Mr. Nonaka's work.

"Chirimen Crepe", which is said to have been named after the 11th Shogun Ienari Tokugawa, is known as the finest textile material.

Nonaka-san's Hata-ryusha brand, "Yuzuki", Nishijin's call, and fashionable denim kimono "Denimudosu" are also available at Ginza Mitsukoshi.

When I asked the person himself, he originally liked paintings and sculptures, but since he started, his own study, sincerity, and passion for face-to-face were overflowing from the displayed side It seemed to be

This time, with the permission of Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. Hakutsuru Ginza Style Fukumoto, we took a picture of the classroom where the seminar was held, this is an introduction.

DSC02372a.jpg

It looks like this in the classroom.

The day of the interview was not the day of the seminar.

Tablecloths and chairs are not set.

When you enter the classroom, sake barrels are displayed on the right side.

This is a display of Mr. Shiratsuru's spring and summer products.

Skin care products are also available.

DSC02374a.jpg

This is a bath salt product. There were also cosmetics products next to this side, and there was also a tester.

The seminar itself is also very meaningful, but it seems to be fun to see various things between the seminars.

Interview about Seminar-Hakuzuru Ginza Style-

[rosemary sea] May 23, 2017 18:00

This is rosemary sea, which covers as an expert in "gifts and enjoy yourself."

Hakutsuru Ginza Style (HAKUTSURU GINZA STYLE), last time I introduced the seminar itself.

This time, I would like to focus on the story of Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. Hakutsuru Ginza Style Fukumoto.

DSC02381a.jpg(Hakuzuru Sake Brewery) Of course, because it is a sake maker, there are many stories related to our products, but basically "Ginza style" is intended to transmit a lifestyle with sake, So, not only to advertise and sell our products for commercial purposes, but also to have a strong meaning of "enlightenn sake". It means not just drinking sake, but also making various proposals in connection with it. (The interview date was May 16.)

There will be a seminar this week, but this is a seminar in collaboration with the wine glass of Leedel, a prestigious Austrian glass. I think that there are many people who do not drink sake with wine glasses so much, but if you drink with wine glasses, it will change to this taste, even those who usually drink sake, one step further It is a form to propose for those who want to enjoy sake from a new perspective.

Click here for the seminar after June. (It was introduced in the previous article.)

0608 Amazake 1 a.jpgShiratsuru Sake Brewery also makes amazake, so we will hold a cooking seminar using amazake for housewives during the day. This is the first time this year. amazake is booming now. This is a cooking seminar with amazake as a starting point and using amazake as a material for cooking.

If I dared to plan a non-alcoholic seminar for those who usually have difficulty going out at night, we received a lot of applications from housewives.

0622 Summer Sake a.jpgAfter that, summer sake has become a little boom in recent years, but it is sake for summer, new ways to drink summer sake, such as cocktails, rock, soda splitting, etc. There is a sake seminar where you can enjoy sake.

0706 Sleep a.jpg

Then there is a seminar called "Enjoy sleek sake".

This was last year, but I said "overcooling", I chilled the sake in akin until just before it freezes, put it just before it freezes, just before it freezes, where it wants to freeze but does not freeze, and it is a bit high When you sweep from, it begins to freeze (in the glass) with its impact.

It's just beautiful in appearance, and the texture is soft and crisp.

I can't do it at home. If the temperature setting is in the freezer, it will freeze. We prepare a freezer with a temperature setting that will be "overcooled" and have those who come to the seminar experience it.

You can enjoy not only sake but also plum wine.

We also offer sake and liqueurs using a smoothie machine.

I would like you to fully enjoy the feeling of ice.

0713 Toji a.jpgThe sake brewing that Mr. Toji talks about, this is already called "The Sake".

There are also seminars for young people and those who don't usually drink sake, but this is just a seminar for people who like sake.

We have a lot of balance so that you can come to various targets.

The application will be closed approximately two weeks before the event starts, but there are always applications that exceed the capacity. In the case of a lottery, we will inform you of winning and losing by e-mail the next day and the next two days.

・・Thank you very much, Mr. Fukumoto.

Cooking class at Ginza Paul Boccues

[Mapo ★] May 23, 2017 12:00

A cooking class held on Thursday, the third of every month.

Chef Kinoshita has a menu of three dishes: appetizer, main and dessert.
While demonstrating and giving one-point advice, etc.
You can also get a beautiful color recipe.
You can also see the steps on the screen.

RIMG3610.JPG DSC_0022.JPG

And of course, I could eat those three items.
There is also a glass wine that matches the main.

That's 5,000 yen including tax.
If you have a Hiramatsu card, you can get further discounts.♪

This time, Jumbong Persie, a ham jelly-ordered ham called Junbon Persie.
3 items of Isaki's preze and claim dange.
What was particularly helpful was how to make homemade from ham.
It takes a little time, but it has a very gentle taste.
The salt is modest and there is no processed product.

I decided to buy pork once and make ham.

 RIMG3606.JPG RIMG3608.JPG

The chef was also trained in Hiramatsu Paris.

It's very friendly and tells you that you like cooking.

RIMG3609.JPG RIMG3611.JPG

It seems that some people come every month.
It's so popular that you have to wait for a cancellation.

I would like to go again when the season changes.

A great cheer for naughty sumo

[Shitamachi Tom] May 22, 2017 14:00

Wanpaku Sumo 2017 (2)_R.jpg On May 21, the annual "Wanpaku Sumo Chuo-ku Tournament" was held at [Chuo-ku Sports Center] in Hamacho.

On a pleasant sunny day, many little wrestlers and their families who participated in the morning rushed to Hamacho Park, where the venue was located. In Chuo-ku, population growth is continuing, but the number of children seems to be increasing or more lively than usual. .

Wanpaku Sumo 2017 (5)_R.jpg At the venue, efforts will be made one after another by gender and grade. The operation is being carried out by the JC members while paying attention to safety. In addition, volunteers who participated from each area in the city are focusing on referees, venue arrangement, and guidance of players. . I also supported the children's enthusiasm with little effort.

Wanpaku Sumo 2017 (3)_R.jpg Some children win and show their guts pose proudly, while others lose and mourn and tears. Each of them will be a valuable experience, and one day will be a nostalgic memory.

In Chuo-ku, various sports and cultural events are held somewhere every month. You can see the current appearance of this town, so be sure to go out while walking around the town. I think it will also be an exchange with many people. Enjoy the lively scenery of Chuo-ku.
