[It's an event in the city of medicine] The story of "drugs" you need to know-value useful information-(Nihonbashimuro-cho)

[Dye] October 17, 2018 09:00

It suddenly became chilly.
It's becoming a season when I feel sick.

It's not limited to this season, but there's a lot of information about health on TV and the Internet, and everyone's interest is high.
Last year, the “self-medication tax system” was introduced in the medical expenses deduction, and the number of opportunities to choose and take medicine yourself has increased.

On the other hand, when you go to a hospital or pharmacy, you may not know what to ask about the medicine, or you may not know how to get information about the medicine.

A free event will be held where experts can answer such questions in an easy-to-understand manner!

The story of "drugs" you need to know-value useful information immediately-

Date and time: Sunday, October 21, 2018 14:00 to 16:00
 Venue: Nomura Conference Plaza Nihonbashi
(2-4-3, Nihonbashi Muromachi, Chuo-ku, YUITO (Yuito) Nihonbashi Muromachi Nomura Building 5F)

 (1) Let's learn with a quiz! This and that of the "medicine" that can be done from today
  ・How to drink medicine
・I forgot to drink medicine, etc.
 (2) What I had trouble with "medicine" and how to solve it
・Side effects and side effects incidence
・Acquisition and handling of correct information

 Advisor on the day
Masahiro Hayashi, Vice Chairman of the Pharmacists Association of Japan Hospital / General Manager of Pharmaceutical Department, Toranomon Hospital
Mayumi Mochizuki Professor, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Keio University / Director, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Keio University Hospital

Registration is not required, participation fee is free / Please come directly to the venue on the day.
(Capacity is the first 250 people)

By the way, the venue for this event is Nihonbashi Muromachi, but the area around Nihonbashi Honmachi 3-chome is an area where medicinal merchants gathered in the town layout of the Edo period, and there are still many headquarters of major pharmaceutical companies and foreign pharmaceutical companies.

Medicines can only be useful if used correctly.
Why don't you think about the history of Nihonbashi, the city of medicine, and solve your daily concerns and questions about medicine?

I recommend it!

With a souvenir of malt! How about local beer in Ginza @Izakaya Hachiban

[Hanes] October 15, 2018 18:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
The other day, I visited Izakaya Yaban, which I had been worried about for a long time.

This is an izakaya with a homely atmosphere with many regulars.
Unlike others, there is a beer brewery that has only a few beers in Chuo-ku!
In other words...It's a rare izakaya where you can enjoy local beer from Ginza.

40.jpg

24 years since it opened...
In the history of Ginza, where new things always gather, we have firmly left a footprint.
I want to go again! This time, I will tell you about the charm of Hachiban.

■Friendly Masters and Regulars
Helping that you don't have the opportunity to go to an izakaya, is it okay to go alone?
When you enter the store with such anxiety, you can see a regular chatting with a beer in one hand.
Up to this point, it seems to be a common sight in any izakaya, but
A friendly voice from the master who is also an exciting part of the game.
It is unique to this place where even one person or a person who goes to the shop for the first time can get acquainted with nature.

malt_ginza5.jpg

■Furnishings of historical value
The first thing that surprised me after sitting was that there was a piano even though it was an izakaya.
If you talk to the master, it will be used for live performances!
If you take this opportunity to look around the store, you can see the laser discs, models, mugs, and chests that are the treasures of the master.
It's all precious now, and it's irresistible for me who like antiques.
In addition, the tables and chairs in the store are made of wood, making it a space where you can feel some warmth.
Isn't this exactly a place where you can relax and relax, not in a chain store?

DSC_2787.JPG

■I don't know what will come out
Another feature of hachiban is that there is no menu!
I heard rumors, but I thought it was no doubt and checked the website of the shop.
It says there is no menu there.
According to what I heard, they offer dishes using fresh ingredients from that time.
All the dishes are delicious, so you can enjoy them as if you were drawing lots without a splash.
Every time you visit, you can have another dish, so I'd like to come again.

If you visit this izakaya, in addition to the exterior and interior, you can also enjoy Japanese food such as motsu stew and buri radish.
I think you will receive the first impression of "The Japanese Izakaya".
However, since the master went to France to train wine, he said.
You can also taste fashionable European dishes.
Roast pork, penne genobese, Kish Lorraine, aquapatzza, shoe crut, etc.
All of them are dishes that you want to try once!

And from November, the annual offering of Anko-nabe will begin.
It seems that fresh anko is purchased from Tsukiji (hereinafter Toyosu).
While drinking local beer (all-you-can-drink) from Ginza, tap the Anko pot and taste it.
If you want to have a year-end party, don't forget to make a reservation in advance.

■Local beer in Ginza
The foreground was longer, but the local beer I received was
Weitzen, a traditional German beer that uses more than 50% wheat sprouts.
Ginza local beer made by the master over half a day at the attached brewery!
Isn't it easy to drink even if you are not very good at bitter beer like me because it has little bitterness?

DSC_2729.JPG

And one item that I didn't know what would come out was Tarako's dip!
This is French bread, which is more delicious when chewed, and has a special tarako dip.
There is something greenish in the dip, but its identity is raw green laver.
The discerning dip, which is full of originality not found in other stores, goes well with bread.

■Correspondent's Listening Information
Here you can get the malt used in beer brewing!
It seems that the malt received this time was used to prepare Vaiszen on that day.
It was still warm when I asked you to pick it up at 20.
If you want malt, please check the schedule by phone or shop.
(※ Limited to those who can go to the site.)

DSC_2733.JPG

I tried to make a malt floor (a stylish version of bran pickles) with the long-awaited malt.
Rather than smelling hands like rice bran, rather a good scent!
Immediately, I picked the end summer vegetables (eggplant and cucumber) mainly.

malt_ginza7.jpg

Stirring the malt a few days...
It was an elegant finish with a slight aroma and taste of wheat!
Very rare malt pickles can be easily pickled, so why not try them once?

However, in fact, many people say, "I like pickles, but I don't like pickles because it's troublesome to pick them yourself."
For such people, I would like to recommend malt soy milk coffee.
There is no need to stir like pickles every day, making it very easy.
Simply put an appropriate amount of malt, soy milk, and coffee (powder or instant) in a pot, warm and filter!
If you don't have a French press, you can use a filter or a fine-grained item.

malt_ginza8.jpg

Malt with more versatility than expected...
It contains vitamin B1, vitamin B2, folic acid, vitamin E, etc.
It is also nice to have high nutritional value, such as recovery from fatigue, improving immunity, and preventing arteriosclerosis.
In addition, if you are in a vegetable garden, you can also use it as fertilizer.

At Izakaya Hachiban, you can enjoy local beer, and get along with the shops and regulars.
You can get souvenirs of malt (advance notice required), etc.
If you haven't tried local beer in Ginza yet, why not visit it?

Store Information

Mitsui Garden Hotel Nihonbashi Premier, nice restaurant Saronevandordi, OVOL Nihonbashi Building

[Silver] October 12, 2018 09:00

Mitsui Garden Hotel Nihonbashi Premier opened on September 13, 2018.

From Nihonbashi Fukushimakan MIDETTE, an antenna shop in Fukushima Prefecture, on the way to Meibashi / Nihonbashi, looking at the opposite side at the intersection of Shin-Nihonbashi Station, a new building was completed. On the outer wall of the building, the logo of "MITSUI GARDEN HOTEL" is written. Here is a picture of the entrance of the hotel.

The name of the building is "OVOL Nihonbashi Building".

The building also has a restaurant, and a nice restaurant & BAR is open on the side facing Chuo-dori.

The name of the Restaurant & Cafe Bar is SALONE VENDREDI (Salone Vendordi).

What is SOY TIME that is nice for women? @KINOKUNIYA entrée (Kinokuniya Entre) Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. Store

[Hanes] October 11, 2018 09:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
Have you been to Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. New Building, a hot spot opened on the 25th of last month?
It is unusual for a commercial facility, and there is a shop that opens at 7:30 in the morning on weekdays.
Many of them have a large selection of menus that can be taken out for breakfast and lunch.
This is a great point for people working in and around Nihonbashi.

Takashimaya.jpg

That's why I stopped by before going to work for lunch.
About 10 people waited for the opening at the entrance of the ground floor, but I got the impression that there were few people waiting for the opening.
When you enter the store, there are so many people who come from the basement directly connected to the station.
Despite the fact that after 7:30, the first floor was crowded with many people at once, and some shops were lined up!

IMG_1857.JPG
(The photo shows a fashionable cafe and street between the main building and the new building.)

This is the new building of Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C., which has many interesting shops.
What I was worried about this time was a coppe bread sandwich called SOY TIME, which is limited to KINOKUNIYA entrée (Kinokuniya Entre) here.
But it's not just a coppé bread sandwich!

Although it does not notice in appearance, nutritious soybeans are used.
Currently, 2 types of side dishes and 3 types of sweets are sold.
Sweets sandwiches use soy milk whipped cream.
It seems that it has a rich texture but has a light texture!

SKP_20180927_074451_686222952331.jpg

And this soy meat coppé bread (gapao style) I bought....
At first glance, it looks like a sticky side dish bread, but soy meat is used instead of meat.
(In the raw material label, it is written as "Stir-fried soybean processed basil flavor.")
Soy Meat is a processed soybean food made from nutritious soybeans.
It contains low lipids, high proteins, and even dietary fiber that is not found in meat, although it has a texture like eating meat.

soytime.jpg

Therefore, wouldn't it be satisfying for those who like meat?
Even those who are busy with work and tend to skip breakfast.
With this, you can buy it before going to work and take in protein well.
This is a recommended coppé bread sandwich that I would like to recommend to colleagues of the same age!

A shop specializing in the map of Buyodo

[Silver] October 7, 2018 09:00

"Buyo-do" is a "map specialty store" where you can get most of the maps, such as old maps of the Edo period, Ino maps compiled by Tadataka Ino, and world maps.

DSCN1899.JPG

We went to explore whether there were any handkerchiefs or handkerchiefs for the pictures of Nihonbashi and Ginza. Unfortunately, there were no two types, but around Edo Castle, east to the vicinity of Eitai Bridge in Fukagawa, west to the vicinity of Kaigyoji Temple in Yotsuya, north to the state of California, so to Hongo, south to Zojoji Temple in the south.

DSCN1905 (400x300). jpg

In addition, we were able to obtain a clear file with the Toden operation route map printed with TOKYO1964 and initials.

DSCN1904 (400x300). jpg

If you search slowly, you will find a more interesting map.

The address is 3-8-16 Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, B2F, B2F. Please take a look at it.

100 yen shop in Tsukiji A Dollar Shop in Tsukiji

[HK] 14:00 on October 2, 2018

I irregularly provide tourist information for foreign customers, but I often receive requests to go to a 100 yen shop. I couldn't find it very much in the Ginza area, so I was guided to the shops on the way to Meiji-jingu Shrine. In the meantime, I found it! There was a new 100-yen shop in Tsukiji! This summer, the drugstore at Tsukiji 1-chome moved diagonally opposite, and the second floor became a 100-yen shop. Tsukiji → You can stop by while traveling to Ginza, so you can shorten the time and improve efficiency and help. The place is on the right hand side after entering Heisei-dori from Harumi-dori St. and passing Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School.

I have been asked by non-Japanese tourists that they would want to go to a dollar shop whenever I have done Tsukiji, Ginza tour guide infrequently. I was not fortunate enough to find an approriate spot around Ginza district, so I have always took them to a shop on the way to Meiji Jingu Shrine. But quite recently, I have found one! A drug store in Tsukiji 1-chome was relocated to the 1st floor of the building accross the street and a dolloar shop opened on the 2nd floor this summer. It became time effective and convenient for guests and myself that we can make a stop over to a dollar shop during Tsukiji → Ginza tour. The shop is along Heisei-dori street, right side after passing Kyobashi Tsukiji Elementary School from Harumi-dori street direction.
