North Europe is hot in winter! 4 North Europe to enjoy in Chuo-ku

[Hanes] December 6, 2018 09:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
It was December in a flash, but are you all having fun even when it is cold?
Winter is called...
・Hot food such as pots and odens
・Things related to snow such as skis and snowmen
・Events such as Christmas and New Year
I think there are many people who think about it.

Meanwhile, what I associate is North Europe, known for its Nordic pattern and Santa's hometown!
Therefore, this time, we will introduce Scandinavian spots that can only be enjoyed in winter by country.
(※ It is intended for five Scandinavia countries in a narrow sense.)

Norway.pngNorway & Denmark.pngDenmark
In Chuo Ward, there is a coffee shop named after the capital of Norway.
Its name is OSLO COFFEE (Oslo Coffee) Ginza Core Store
Here's a dish using Norwegian salmon and Danish cheese.
You can have Scandinavian desserts and cakes.
I'm particular about tableware, so you may feel like you're in North Europe while staying in Ginza.Airplane

At the National Film Archive (formerly the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo Film Center)
On November 27 (Tuesday), a special screening titled "Invitation to Swedish Films 150th Anniversary of the Establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Sweden" began.

I've been looking forward to this event for a long time, so I watched Miss Aprile (original title: Fröken April) (1958), which was screened on the first night.
It turns from the beginning that reminds me of the cold winter in Northern Europe.
Due to the cheerfulness of spring, the whole story has been mistaken for a good tempo development!
What is the story of a unique combination of a firm bank head and a young dancer?
Even though it is a movie more than half a century ago, it is a recommended work that provides universal laughter.

Other movies to be screened are also interesting!
Why don't you watch Swedish movies in a warm room when it's cold?

Have you ever been worried about it?
Chuo-ku is home to Scandinavian-related events and dishes that can be enjoyed indoors.
Even if it's cold, you will surely have a good day.
Why don't you come in contact with such Scandinavian culture when you come near?

[Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Measures] Rivers and bridges (2)

[Hanes] December 2, 2018 14:00

Hello! This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
This time, we will take up the order of the two bridges (each river) in the continuation of [Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Measures] River / Bridge (1).

If you learn the order of the bridge that spans each river at the stage where the name of the bridge has come to mind to some extent
After all, it's recommended to have fun.
How to remember the Hanes style is as follows:

■Sumida River (from upstream/north → south)
"Parents at the end of today, carry Nakatsukuda (boiled)."
Ryogoku Bridge (Ryo), Shinohashi Bridge (Shin), Kiyosu Bridge (Kiyo), Sumida River Ohashi (Su), Eitai Bridge (E), Chuo-ohashi Bridge (Chu), Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge (Tsukuda), Kachidokibashi (Ka), Tsukiji Ohashi (Tsuki)
※The Sumida River Road Bridge, which spans Ryogoku Bridge and Shinohashi, is omitted.

Even if you are a little overdoing it, you will win what you have learned
Isn't it easy to remember if you imagine such a situation?

Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Measures 2.jpg

As expected, my parents don't come back with Tsukudani, but
This may have happened in the past.

■Nihonbashi (from downstream/east to west)
"Wealth, go! At one time in Japan!"
Toyomi Bridge (To), Minato Bridge (Mi), Kayaba Bridge (Kaka), Armor Bridge (Yo), Edobashi (E), Nihonbashi (Nihon), Nishikawabashi (Ni), Ichiishibashi (I / How to read "Ichikokubashi"), Tokiwa Bridge (To), Former Joban Bridge (Ki), New Tokiwa Bridge (Ni / New Tokiwa Bridge (Ni / New)

Is this an image like this?

CKK2.jpg

The wording of the Sumida River was an image of traditional culture, but it was also an image of traditional culture.
Nihonbashi seems to be the current Japan where the inbound spirit is growing.Airplane

You can remember the order of the bridge over the two rivers....However, the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification cannot be beaten by this alone.
Where do the Sumida River and Nihonbashi River join, and what is the first bridge to be built after joining?...You need to keep it down to that point!
This will be carried over to the next article.

Last but not least!
■Kamejima River (from upstream / north to south) that I want to keep if I can afford it
The Kamejima River begins at the upstream Nihonbashi sluice gate and ends at the downstream Kamejima River sluice gate.
In the meantime, there are five bridges, and those who aim for a high score should also remember.
The word matching is "Evolution of Reigan! It's expensive!"
Reigishi Bridge, Shin Kameshima Bridge, Kameshima Bridge, Takahashi (Taka), Minami Takahashi (Na) / South = "Nan" / How to read "Minami Takabashi")

There is quite a sense of force, but Reigishi Island is due to landfills and land uplifts.
Please remember along with the history that the sea level was higher than the Edo period.

※In this article, we will introduce some of the reasons for this.
If you remember the contents written here, you won't be able to pass.
 Please include it in advance.

[Chuo-ku Tourism Certification Measures] Rivers and bridges (1)

[Hanes] 09:00 on December 1, 2018

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
It's been more than 4 months, but in mid-July, I started appearing on Chuo FM for the first time.
"Instagram is inevitable! In addition to the back story of ROAR COFFEE, which groans both power and concentric.
I talked about the charm of Chuo-ku and how to study the Chuo-ku sightseeing certification for about 15 minutes.
I was just biting it because it was my first appearance.
Thank you to everyone who listened!

DSC_2429.JPG

The application for the Chuo-ku Tourism Certification started on October 1st.
This time, JUMI, a central FM personality, also introduced me.
I would like to write a little about Hanes-ryu Chuo-ku sightseeing certification measures.

Before that, it was the most important Chuo-ku sightseeing test, but mainly about history and culture since the Edo period.
You will be asked about 100 questions with different difficulty levels.
Among them, the following two things I felt particularly good at.
River and bridge problems (where rivers and capital heights intersect, where and how many bridges are built, etc.)
Route problem (which station and which line goes through? If there are multiple routes, the year of opening can be used as a hint for the answer....)

It was less than a year since I started living in Chuo-ku when I applied for the certification.
The scope of action was very limited, and for some time I was commuting on foot.
I didn't have any knowledge of rivers, bridges and routes.
Some of the examinees who are not from Tokyo like me are.
I think there are some people who have similar weaknesses!
This time, we will focus on rivers and bridges, and introduce Hanes-style verification measures to be used as a reference for testing measures.

First of all, I would like to remember the following five things about rivers and bridges.
①Bridge location
②The order of bridges (by river)
③The confluence of the river and the bridge before and after
④It is said to be a feature of the bridge.

⑤Reclamation of rivers

In this article, we will introduce the points of one bridge location (which bridge is (place name) and where (place name) and where (place name)).

■Bridge where the place name is a hint

Ryogokubashi (2-chome Higashi Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku and 1-chome Ryogoku, Sumida-ku)
This name was given because it connected Musashi and Shimousa across the Sumida River.
Kiyosu Bridge
At the time of construction, it was named after the connection between Nakasucho, Nihonbashi-ku and Kiyozumi-cho, Fukagawa-ku (currently Nihonbashinakasu and 1-chome, Kiyosumi, Koto-ku), which were on both banks.

■Bridge over the island
I think there are individual differences, but the bridge in the southeast area of Chuo-ku tends to be a pitfall (especially for test takers who are not from Tokyo).
・Bridges span from the Minato, Akashicho, and Tsukiji areas to the Tsukuda, Tsukishima, Kachidoki, and Toyomicho areas
・Bridges spanning the Harumi area from Tsukuda, Tsukishima, Kachidoki, and Toyomicho areas

Like Asashio Ohashi, Asashiobashi, Asashio Kobashi, Reimeibashi, Reimeibashi and Reimei Ohashi
Even if the name is similar, the location and size of connecting are different.

IMG_2430.JPG

Therefore, we recommend that you keep such information referring to the official text p.196 of the certification released this year!
In particular, the following three items that pass through Ring Route 2, which opened in early November, must be checked.
Tsukiji Ohashi (Sumida River / between Tsukiji and Kachidoki)
Reimei Ohashi (Asashio Canal / between Kachidoki and Harumi)
Toyosu Ohashi (Harumi Canal / between Harumi and Toyosu)
However, Chuo-ku, which has many rivers and bridges!
Don't forget to check the bridge locations in other areas.

I've briefly introduced the points of the bridge so far, but since the study method is for each person, the method that suits you best is the best!
You can put a map on the bathroom and remember it with your eyes, copy the map and remember it by hand.
You can actually walk around the town and learn it with your body.
You can remember your own way of remembering repeatedly with your mouth and ears!
If there are people who can go to the Hanes style, which will be introduced more than once in the future, please refer to it.

※In this article, we will introduce some of the reasons for this.
If you learn the contents written here, you will not be able to pass it.
 Please include it in advance.

From Tsukiji to Minato! The fashionable new cafe "CO-SIDE CAFE@TSUKIJI SANOKIYA"

[Hanes] Nov. 29, 2018 12:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
The other day, while walking around the town, I happened to discover a wonderful cafe just opened on November 12!
The cafe is CO-SIDE CAFE@TSUKIJI SANOKIYA, located near Minami Takahashi.

Co-side Cafe 2.jpg

It's just opened, so the inside of the store is very beautiful.
And it is a fashionable and calm space where you can feel the warmth of wood.

Co-side Cafe.jpg

At this shop, senior correspondent Asunaro and I Hanes have introduced it in the past.
You can also enjoy Tsukiji's popular sweets, Tsukiji Sanokiya's "Tunayaki".
And nicely, there is another gourmet that represents Tsukiji on the menu.
These are the collaboration products "Atsushi Yaki Tamako Sand" (300 yen) and "Cube Atsuyaki Tamako" (250 yen) with Marutake Tsukiji.

DSC_3148.JPG

This time, Marutake Tsukiji's Atsushi Yakitamako, who always gave up buying just by looking at the line, was there.
We had "Atsushi Yakitamako Sand" which was luxuriously packed.
Eat a bite and be impressed by the juicyness of Atsushi Yakitamako!
Slightly gentle spiciness (like mustard) matches the sweet Atsushi Yakitamako.
It's very easy to eat and has a sandwich that you won't get tired of.

DSC_3143.JPG

There are plenty of drink menus, so if you come near you, enjoy Tsukiji's popular gourmet and coffee together.
Why don't you relax here?

Dog Run by Irifune Hashimoto [Tsukiji River Park]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] Nov. 28, 2018 14:00

It is a dog run under () Irifune Bridge, which used to span the Tsukiji River.

Irifune Bridge is a bridge located on Shin-ohashi-dori St.

drun201801.JPG

This dog run "Wanwan Square" was introduced on this blog last year along with the multi-purpose open space at the adjacent Tsukiji River Park.

drun201803.JPG

This time, we will introduce two dogs from my home and based on the experience.

drun201802.JPG

When we used it, there was one dog in the small dog area and two dogs in the free area.

drun201804.JPG

This service is available from 7:00 to 20:00.

It's nice to have a dog run that is OK until 20 o'clock.

drun201805.JPG

The location is 10-2 Akashicho, the area is 458 square meters for free areas and 189 square meters for small dog areas.

My house was allowed to play in the free area, but it's quite large enough to run around.

drun201806.JPG

Despite the heavy traffic of Shin-ohashi-dori St., I didn't care about the noise of the car at all.

[Second from the company window in Chuo-ku] Chuo-ku government office 1F grill

[Hanes] Nov. 24, 2018 09:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
Following the company meal of the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Co., Ltd. Shintomi Branch, which was introduced the other day, the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Co., Ltd.
This time, we will deliver it from the 1st floor grill of Chuo-ku government office.

DSC_2989.JPG

This is not a staff cafeteria, but it has relatively long business hours.
It is a space where those who come to the ward office or library can easily eat from morning to evening.
In addition, you can have pasta that will probably not be offered at the 11th floor staff cafeteria!
That's why I bought a weekly pasta meal ticket and went to the store.

DSC_2991.JPG

It's not a self-service for staff, so the order is a restaurant style!
I sit in my favorite seat and give the waiter a meal ticket.

DSC_2992.JPG

A few minutes to wait while looking out from the window...The ordered asparagus and bacon peperoncino were brought.
It's nice to be able to eat vegetables in salads and to have your favorite amount of Parmesan cheese.

IMG_20181111_172448.jpg

And above all, the noodles that were more sticky than expected, and the asparagus and thick bacon that were generously entered.
It was a quality that overturned the concept of rice at the government office in a good way.

Perhaps because it was past noon, it was not too crowded and I was able to relax.
In addition to firm rice, from sandwiches that can be picked up when you are hungry.
We also have desserts that can be eaten by children!

Thumbnail image of DSC_2996.JPG

Lunch that you can enjoy at a reasonable price in Tokyo is very valuable!
If you are near you, lunch at the government office....How about it?

As an aside, this is the November menu of the staff cafeteria on the 11th floor.
Calorie and salt are detailed in detail, and from a sticky value lunch
Information that is good for those who care about health, up to healthy lunch with a total calorie of 650kcal or less, using 100g or more vegetables, and a salt content of 3.0g or less.
In addition, there is a menu with plenty of vegetables using more than 120g of vegetables, and a low-salt menu with no miso soup and a salt content of less than 2.5g.

DSC_2993.JPG

There are a lot of menus, so it's easy to see!
The staff cafeteria will be reported here when you use it, so please wait for a while.
