[First from the company window in Chuo-ku] Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Co., Ltd. Shintomi Branch Office

[Hanes] Nov. 20, 2018 12:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
Until now, we have introduced Chuo-ku from various viewpoints, such as the morning activity series and excursion series, but a new series will be added from this time!
Under the title of "From the company window in Chuo-ku", we will introduce corporate food that can be enjoyed mainly by the general public in Chuo-ku.

The first memorable event will be featured in the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway Co., Ltd. Shintomi Branch Office!
It is located in the middle of Takaracho Station and Hatchobori Station.

IMG_2913.JPG

If you know that you can eat company food here because it doesn't face the main street
I think it's really a few, including those who live in the neighborhood.
Lunch information is available outside the building, so you can check the menu.
It's mainly Japanese food, and it's a lineup that relaxes you to think about the taste of home.

IMG_2884.JPG

As you can see in the guide, tell us that you will use the cafeteria at the reception and receive a badge.
Take the elevator to the 6th floor and head to the 7th floor restaurant "Bufe" by stairs.

Thumbnail image of DSC_2980.JPG

There are people who cook in the back, and welcome you very easily as if you had come to your favorite set meal shop.

IMG_2891.JPG

The inside of the cafeteria has a government office style that can be said to be "This is a company food!"
Being able to check the morning information program on TV is also a nice point for those who work for the company.

IMG_2896.JPG

And this time, I would like to introduce a breakfast set that is not included in the outside guide.
This is limited from 8:00 to 10:30, and it is a set known to those who know it.
It's a very normal menu, but it's only 350 yen.
Don't you think the service is incredibly good in Tokyo?
(If you are not good at natto, you can also choose seaweed instead.)
And most of all, handmade in the kitchen is attractive.

Shashoku_ME.jpg

Here's the breakfast set I ordered (the fried egg, natto).
I betrayed my expectations in a good way, and there are two fried eggs that came out!
It's a great surprise for those who want to eat well in the morning.

Thumbnail image of DSC_2974.JPG

But that's not the only surprise!
A cup that has been warmed in advance with a cup warmer.

IMG_2911.JPG

I'll have some coffee.
The cup is hot, so it is recommended for the coming season!
This is a free service only for breakfast, and it costs 100 yen at lunchtime.

Thumbnail image of DSC_2975.JPG

At the end of the window glass, where I moved my line of sight with a slow cup of coffee.
The Metropolitan Expressway (Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway) stretched between high buildings.
I don't think there are many places where you can see the Metropolitan Expressway while eating and drinking indoors.
It seems that there are many employees and neighbors here.
Neighboring workers, those who use the room without meals Plan (no breakfast) at a nearby hotel.
Children who like cars can enjoy rice and scenery.

DSC_2977.JPG

It's reasonable and more than expected!
Why don't you try such a secret place company meal in Chuo-ku once?

Kyobunkan Building and CAFE'Kyobunkan

[Silver] Nov. 18, 2018 14:00

When I visited the "Joy of Life of Light and Shadow of Painter Seiji Fujishiro", I received a leaflet for information on "CAFE'Kyobunkan".

The explanation of the construction of the Kyobunkan Building is described as follows.

"This Kyobunkan building is a retro building that was built in 1933. You can see the remnants of the architectural style of the time on the beams that became thick in triangles near the pillar. The café was designed with a plasterer technique called "polishing" on the white plaster wall while retaining its old appearance, and was designed with the wish of a relaxing place where two eras can meet lightly across space and space. "Soil" from all over Japan was used for "polishing". I hope you can slowly enjoy the natural colors of the soil collected from Okinawa, Niigata, Aichi and Awaji with coffee. ] It's a good idea.

Invited by the warm Koharu weather, I took a closer look at the building of Kyobunkan and went out to drink coffee.

This is a set of Japanese bunkan blend and cake.

We enjoyed the view of Ginza Chuo-dori from the counter seat on the window. I had a good time relaxing.

From the window of the "Chuo-ku Marugoto Museum" tour bus

[Hanes] Nov. 16, 2018 18:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
As the senior correspondents wrote,
I also served as a volunteer bus guide on the tour bus at the Marugoto Museum in Chuo-ku on November 4th.
It was tended to be at first because it was the first challenge this time, but after running the same road several times,
I was able to grasp the timing and the ad-lib became effective.
There's nothing to do.

IMG_20181111_092251.jpg

This time, we picked up three information on Chuo-ku, which had a good response to passengers on the tour bus, and picked up them.
We will introduce it together with the event in November.

■The population of Yaesu 2-chome is the smallest 24 people in the ward (* Information before updating on November 2)
According to the "Population and Number of Households in Chuo-ku (as of November 1, 2018)" published by the Chuo-ku Office, the current population is 31.
The number of households is 28, and the breakdown is 17 men and 14 women.

In Yaesu, urban redevelopment projects are currently underway, and many construction sites are noticeable.
When a new office building with the Bulgarian Hotel and Joto Elementary School has been completed, it will be completed.
Will there be some fluctuations in the population around here?
In that sense, it is an interesting block that I would like to pay attention to in the future.

■Nihonbashi Seven Lucky Gods
It is said that the religion of Seven Lucky Gods began in the Muromachi period.
The eight shrines related to Seven Lucky Gods in the Nihonbashi area enshrines Ebisu God, a thriving business.
Even today, tours around Seven Lucky Gods are still popular.

IMG_9365.JPG
(Sugimori Shrine, which enshrines Ebisu God)

One of the eight companies is Koami Shrine (Fukurokuju, Benzaiten), whose main religion is Ise-jingu Shrine.
The Doburoku Festival from Niiname-no-Matsuri will be held on November 28 (Wednesday), thanks for the good harvest of new grains.
From 9:00 am, a talisman made of Susukino, a representative of the seven herbs in autumn, will be awarded.
The benefits of good luck and prosperity of business are "mi" (body).
It seems that it is mizuku after "sticking" to the family's "mi" (body)

In the afternoon, the village kagura dance, an important national Intangible Folk Cultural Property, will be dedicated.
If you have time, why don't you go see it?

■The roots of the Sumida River Fireworks Festival
fireworks festival has become an entertainment now, but in fact it wasn't the beginning!
Many people died due to bad harvests and epidemics of 1732, and many people died.
The 8th Shogun Yoshimune Tokugawa, who was worried about this, held a water god festival on the Sumida River the following year as a prayer for the eradication of illness and the memorial service for the dead.
At that time, the boat inn and restaurant at the base of Ryogoku Bridge paid for it and obtained the permission of the Shogunate.
It is said that they have launched fireworks to memorialize the spirits of the dead.
In overseas tourism media, such roots are sometimes introduced.
When people from overseas ask about this fireworks festival, it would be nice if they could introduce Japanese culture, including their roots.

For the secret spots where you can enjoy fireworks from Chuo-ku, please visit us.
[Sumida River Fireworks Festival] How can I see it from a secret place in Chuo-ku? Please take a look at it.

That's all for the three selections of Chuo-ku information that had a good response.
For lunch on this day, I had entered the Yatai Village Championship at the Harumi Autumn Festival.
I had chicken kebab from Turkish food stall "Ruby's Kebab".

DSC_2933.JPG

The kebab, which has a good cospa, has a good response to eating and delicious.

DSC_2934.JPG

And what is Harumi Wharf, the first and last stop of the tour bus, a trip advisor?
I was ranked 19th in "Popular Date Spot 2018"
Despite the fact that there are popular shopping and gourmet areas such as Ginza and Tsukiji, there are also areas that are popular for shopping and gourmet food.
We surpassed them and achieved the only top 20 from Chuo-ku!

DSC_2938.JPG

At night, you can enjoy the light-up of the Rainbow Bridge.
You can relax while listening to the sound of the waves.
It is a recommended spot for those who are not good at places with many people.

DSC_1971.JPG

Chuo-ku has a beautiful spot with interesting history, culture, and night view.
Every time you come, you will surely have a new discovery!
Please come and visit us when you come nearby.

Gift of furoshiki wrapping (Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store)

[Tachibana] Nov. 12, 2018 14:00

A friend living abroad came to Japan, so I purchased sweets at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi as a souvenir and wrapped them in a furoshiki wrap.

mfu.jpg
I am Japanese, but I have lived in the United States for many years, so I was very pleased with the Japanese-style gift.
How about those who are looking for a slightly different gift?
In addition, the service fee for wrapping cloth is 270 yen.

My daughter, Azuki, Shichigosan, 3: Visit at Suitengu. (Half, anti-professional)

[Edamame] Nov. 11, 2018 12:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

"Daughter Azuki's Shichigosan" series

Well, my daughter, Azuki, who has become a beautiful kimono.

Let's walk together to Suitengu Shrine.

By the way, I think that the image of "Suitengu = prayer for safe delivery" is strong.

You can also see the prayers of Shichigosan here.

Edamame also prayed for a safe delivery when Azuki was in his stomach.

It was very crowded because I visited on Dog Day on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

About 50 pregnant women prayed at the same time.

Can you really do it in the first place? It was just a question.

But it's okay.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, other than the Day of the Dog

Congestion is a little eased.

That's right. On the day of the dog on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, prayers for safe delivery are limited to pregnant women themselves.

Except for the day of the Dog, the family can rise together.

Well, it seems wiser to avoid visiting Shichigosan on the Dog Day on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (laughs).

And it seems that the day of "Da'an" tends to be a considerable waiting time.

By the way, there is also a "Dog Day Calendar" on the top screen of the website of Suitengu.

You can check it easily.

http://www.suitengu.or.jp/

You can also check past congestion status on Twitter.

https://twitter.com/suitengu_info

That said, I'm worried, so depending on what I asked for confirmation the day before.

・Reservations are not accepted, so you can apply on the day.

・We start praying every hour at 00 and 30 minutes.

・So, please complete the reception with everyone at least 10 minutes before the start (until 10:20 at 10:30).

・It's safer to come early because it's quite crowded from 10 am to 11 am

・The prayer time is about 15 minutes (it will end in about 45 minutes from 10:30).

・・That's right. I'm shy.

※Since it is information at this point, please consider it as a reference level.

"That means if the hair set from 9 o'clock ends before 10 o'clock.

I'm in time for the prayer at 10:30. I'm sure. It's not Da'an tomorrow."

I felt like I was there.

However, sir.

As I wrote in the article "Part 2", Azuki and a hair salon exploded the ear.

I lost my time for more than 10 minutes.

And yeah.

From the hair salon to the Suitengu, my mother should wear ordinary shoes instead of sandals.

When I took a picture, I was thinking of changing to sandals.

I'll never walk fast.

If so

"That's not! A-chan, the old days' worthy! !」

(Old shoes = sandals)

It is certain that even if you force yourself to wear ordinary shoes here, it will be very rough.

I swallowed tears and made him wear sandals.

As a result, it should be the distance to Suitengu, which is supposed to be able to walk in less than 5 minutes.

I wonder if it took 15 minutes.

I arrived a little before 10:30.

・・I wasn't in time.

I have a reservation for lunch after this at 11 o'clock.

I will introduce it in the future.

I couldn't move it.

I can't help it, so I don't have any prayers.

And one patily with the shrine, which is full of prayers for Shichigosan and safe delivery.

18-11-06-14-08-33-883_deco-1.jpg

In commemoration of worship, we have also received a health guard.

1541480208307-1.jpg

So, everyone who thinks that Shichigosan's visit will be held at Suitengu in the future.

Please be careful about the balance between lunch schedule and prayer! (Tears)

Her daughter Azuki's Shichigosan, 2: Hair Set on the day @ old folk house Salon "COTON hanare" in Ningyocho

[Edamame] Nov. 9, 2018 14:00

This is Edamame, a correspondent with children.

This is the "Daughter Azuki's Shichigosan" series, following the previous one.

Click here for the previous article. → /archive/2018/10/lovstphotostudio.html

Well, it was the morning of the day of the visit.

On this day, we started taking action early in the morning.

Because ... I planned to do a hair set, wear a kimono, and visit ... so I was supposed to have my hair set in the beauty salon first.

This is the first place in the morning.

DSC_4191-1.jpg

Mother Edamame always has her hair cut in this shop.

It's COTON Hanare.

This is a old folk house renovation property located just one back from Ningyocho amazake Yokocho.

It's a calm and calm environment.

And ... why is Edamame cut his hair at this shop?

That's because it's a hair salon with kids' space.

The worries of mothers with small children. It's "when do you cut your hair?"

Really in the magazine "Egg Club" I read before giving birth

What should be done around 8 months of pregnancy → The meaning that I wrote that I should cut my hair.

I understand well now.

It's okay if you tie it up, isn't it? I thought I was stupid.

The baby is very interested in the hair that hangs and hangs down, and pulls it around.

And when you notice it and want to cut it, you can't go freely ...

It's a hand to leave your children on dads' holidays, such as Saturdays and Sundays.

To be honest, there are many things to worry about.

In my home, if you have a look at the azuki for a day,

For the next day I'm sleeping all day long. 。 。

That's why a hair salon with kids' space!

It's like God.

In this case, you can use the free time on weekdays to cut your hair.

Of course, even if there is no kids space.

You can also use a head spa with aroma.

And healed with the delicious coffee that you can get in between.

I think it's a salon where you can be satisfied even if you don't have children.

By the way, I'm talking with a mom friend in the neighborhood of Hamacho.

Ningyocho's "COTON hanare" (one who was newly created as the name hanare = detached)

"COTON" in Hamacho (where this was originally there. Is it okay to call the head office?

The name of the game came out unexpectedly.

Even if it's azuki, I'm used to playing in the kids' space here.

I thought it would be nice to be able to set the hair calmly.

Well, the story of the day.

While I'm going to amazake Yokocho from my home.

"Who would you like to be a guest?" "Yes!"

Despite the repeated conversations.

At the timing of getting started

Azuki, a big explosion.

I'd like to be a guest! "No,"

Oh, don't you want to be cute? "I won't do it,"

・・It was an endless loop.

It was the one who gave me a help boat here

Mr. Hagiwara, the owner stylist who is also a dad.

(Actually, I learned about this COTON by a middle-aged and high-school friend, Daddy Mom, a nursery school.

=It was triggered by Mrs. and Mrs. Hagiwara.)

I try to watch various videos for children on my tablet device.

He lent me it.

18-11-05-08-43-23-287_deco-1.jpg

There was also "Hanakappa" that I always see on E-Tele ...

And he sat in his chair for fifty minutes. Thank you very much.

In the meantime, mother Edamame observes how to arrange hair.

"Rope knitting ... I wish I could do it myself ... I'm afraid."

But after all, professional skills are amazing.

I was just impressed by the clumsy.

Well, when the hair set is over, rent a kids space that I always play.

I'm going to wear a kimono.

There is no dressing menu at COTON, so please borrow only the place.

It's a form that my mother Edamame works hard.

But here too ... "No" "I can't do it!" It's a bit complicated.

For Mr. Kameda, who was in charge of the hair set only ...

"... I'm sorry. Can you hold your hands?'

He helped me prevent trying to take off my long undergarment.

After that, I helped you clean up various things, and helped me until the end.

That's how it's done!

DSC_4117-2.jpg

By the way, here is the version of the hair set.

It was wrapped around and finished cutely.

Finally, we are leaving for a visit at Suitengu!
