・For some reason, a man buys chocolate by a woman, and a bag is also bought in a staggered manner,
・Uncle buys chocolate she wants to eat at the event.
I feel that there is also a wide variety of ways of enjoying and exploiting, as well as an increase in the variety of flavors that are not just "sweet".

For this reason, events to buy chocolate from all over the world are called "Sweets Collection" and "Salon de Chocola" instead of "Valentine", and even if you are quite a sweet party, there are more choices so that you can't catch up with the brand.

Whatever your attention this season is! It's ruby chocolate, right?

This is the new category of chocolate that appeared for the first time in 80 years after dark, milk and white.
Ruby chocolate is rare and delicate, so I visited the sweets collection at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store to try this ruby chocolate.

By the way, Godiva's first store in Asia, famous for its high-quality chocolate brand, was Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store (1972).
It may not come out, but it is knowledge.

First, I bought "Yokan au Chocolat" with "Toraya". It is a product limited to the Paris store, and it is a Japanese-Western eclectic taste mixed with rum and yokan.

Next, I ordered Pierre Marcorini soft serve ice cream at the venue of the sweets collection. A combination of happiness in harmony with the rich aroma of cacao and gentle strawberry.

Speaking of Pierre Marcolini, it goes back to my memories of traveling to Belgium with my boss at that time more than 20 years ago.
At that time, I don't think there was anything more expensive chocolate market in Japan than it is now. Pre-Study Planefor Business Trip (?) So I had a shallow knowledge of whether Neuhaus, Wittamer, Del Rey, etc. are famous in Belgium (all are still famous), but the old ministry I met in Belgium took me to the up-and-coming chocolate patissier shop that won the chocolate championship. There were chocolates like jewels in the store, but I think that the main thing was to sell in "block" units like large board chocolates.


Next, the real ruby chocolate ... When I went to buy Del Rey ruby chocolate that I was aiming for ..., what?
Sold out! ! (Other brands were sold out too.)
Perhaps because of its rarity, it is even more expensive even in a high-class chocolate group, so I read sweetly, "It will not sell out in a flowing stone."

Although the set of Ruby Chocolate "Only" was sold out, I bought a Peter Buyer who sold a set containing Ruby Chocolate. A collaboration between the sourness of fruits like berries and the sweetness that comes later. This is... something I want to eat more. Will it take a while to become a little more common?

 The Chuo-ku sightseeing certification has been over, and I am relieved that I have managed to get a score that I can continue as a correspondent by self-scoring. Also, as for the rest of this year, I am worried about the movie "Mascarade Hotel" modeled on the Park Hotel in Hakozaki in the original.

 

 This time, it’s part of the correspondent’s work. But one off party was held on January 19th (Saturday) at a bar & restaurant with Sicily cuisine called Can Teena Sicilyana in Ginza. Since I was a secretary, I would like to blog about it as a report.

 

If you are thinking of becoming a correspondent in the future, I would be grateful if you could refer to it because there are such things.

 

 When I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Kno of the tourist association in October, I was told that I would like to plan an off party after a long absence, and when I asked everyone, there were many people who wanted to do it So, it was a realization.

 

 As the name suggests, Can Teena Sicilyana serves Sicily cuisine and Sicily wine. Some sommeliers have been featured in Michelin's Bibligurman for the second consecutive year in 2017 and 2018. When I came before, the atmosphere of the food, wine and the restaurant was very good, and lunch is open until 15:30, it can be reserved from 16 people, even if you ask for a drink and a volumey dish, it will fit for just over 3,000 yen. 。 。 I thought it was perfect for this off-party.

 

 There are 2 Kan Teena Siciliana stores in Ginza and 1 store in Hakata, for a total of 3 stores.
This time, we did it at the Ginza 6-chome store, which won Michelin (a store in an alley just one from Corridor Street).

 Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, located on the toes of the Italian peninsula. Due to its geographical location, it has a history of repeated conquest and rule as a key point in the Mediterranean Sea. It is said that a unique food culture was nurtured by the mixture of various cultures so that it was called the "crossroads of civilization".
Many people may be associated with the movie "Godfather" hometown.

 

It is famous for its various agricultural products represented by olives, fresh fish, cheese and meat abundant ingredients.
There were some of the off-party participants who ordered "blood orange" juice that was red enough to be mistaken for tomato juice in Sicily's specialty food, but everyone probably checked in advance.

 

In addition, Sicily is said to be one of Italy's largest wine-making provinces in terms of wine production, because its varied terrain makes it suitable for grape-making, which is comparable to France in wine production.

 

 Can Teena Sicilyna offers more than 200 kinds of Sicily wines.
So, I also had two cups of Sicily spmante and house wine.

 

 At the off-party, you should first choose "PRANZO C (C lunch / 2,300 yen)" and your favorite drink (around 800 yen) x 1 cup as a dish, and after the second cup, the person who wants it will order individually I made it.
I will omit the details of the dish, but personally I thought it was very delicious including drinks.
The olive oil from Sicily, which the shop is proud of, comes out with bread, but I think this goes well with anything such as fish flies and pasta that appear on the course. Please try it.

 

 In addition, the shop is decorated with a strange design flag with a face in the middle and three legs coming out of it, and many people were rare, so I will supplement it just in case.
This flag is the flag of Sicily and is called the Triskel.
The middle face represents Medusa, and the three legs represent the three capes of Sicily.
Medusa was not a monster, but originally a goddess of the earth, so this triskel is a symbol of Sicily, which has a rich earth.

 A total of 30 participants were scheduled to attend the meeting, but three (2 adults / 1 child) were absent due to influenza or nursing, and eventually 27 (including 1 child) were included). Mr. Mura and Mr. Kno from the tourist association participated.
In addition, as special guests, JUMI, who is always taking care of the correspondent corner of Chuo FM, "I love Chuo-ku", and its director, Imura, participated.

 

And the same hobby (?) The people with each other just shit and took pictures, but two hours passed quickly. ※I believe everyone was having fun.

 

 After all, once a year, such an off-party is also good.
Hopefully next year will be a fun correspondent activity.
