There is a phoenix on the street lights on Miyuki Street.

[The Ten Hands of Shufusa] 12:00 on April 9, 2017

  There are phoenixes in line.

DSCN0618 (2). JPGThe origin of the phoenix with golden wings spread is that it was named as the road of Miyuki Miyuki when the Shogun went to the Hama Goten (Hamarikyu) in the Edo period.

It is also said that during the Meiji period, His Majesty the Emperor was used as a road for excursions to Naval Academy, Naval University, etc. (Tsukiji Market).

In the 1960s, young people who adopted ibeelics walked around Miyuki Street. From there, the name "Miyuki tribe" was born.

Even now, there are many restaurants, clubs, shops, etc. with high thresholds. It's Ginza like Ginza.

Please take a look at the street lights while shopping. I'm pretty thy.

The best time to see Yoshino cherry tree

[Sam] 14:00 on April 8, 2017

R0010186RS'G.jpg On April 2, the Japan Meteorological Agency announced the cherry blossoms in full bloom in the city center, and the Yoshino cherry tree of Hamarikyu Onshi Garden was finally in full bloom on the 7th.

Hamarikyu Onshi Garden is a famous cherry blossom spot where many guests were welcomed and a cherry blossom viewing party was held as a separate residence for the Shogun family during the Edo period and as a detached palace for the Imperial Family in the Meiji period.

I heard that about 100 cherry trees are planted in the park, but there are about 10 in Yoshino cherry tree.

It can be enjoyed mainly near Nakano Gate, Nobe Liaokan Ruins, and Nakano Bridge.

The pale pink protagonist creates a gorgeous landscape unique to the city center against the backdrop of the high-rise buildings of Shiodome Shiodome Shiosite.

Hanamomomo is in full bloom [Tsukiji River Ruins]

[The Minnie Cricket] 12:00 on April 8, 2017

Hanamomomo is in full bloom in the planting area on the south side of Tsukiji 2-chome, Tsukijibashi and Irifunebashi, which was originally the Tsukiji River.

It's pink on the map below.

Red, white and pink flower color is vivid

hanamo01.JPG

Hanamomomo is said to be a peach that has been improved to appreciate flowers, and blooms before and after the cherry blossom season.

hanamo02.JPG

The peach festival on March 3 was celebrated since the Heian period.

It is said that the peaches began to be improved as ornamental flower peaches only after the Edo period.

hanamo03.JPG

It seems that the tree shape has standing, weeping, and broom standing, and I think that the Hanamomomo here at Tsukiji 2-chome is broom standing.

The pale pink of cherry blossoms is also beautiful, but the clear pink and red of Hanamomo are also spring colors.

This is Japanese Hospitality, "Omotenashi".

[Ginzo] 18:00 on April 7, 2017

One evening, around 5 o'clock, it was a day when the rain fluttered and the flowers were cold.

When I got off the Edo bus at Chuo-ku government office, a foreign family was operating a smartphone in some trouble.

"Excuse me. “May I help you,” I say the name of a hotel I don’t know. Because the map displayed on the smartphone is not clear,

Then, please lend me your cell phone. I'm going to check with the hotel people in Japanese.

Even if you call the woman in the hotel and ask for the exact address and landmark, I don't know well.

"A group of Americans named Tully, 2 couples, 2 kids are at the front entrance of Chuo-ku government office. It's raining and I don't have an umbrella, so please come and pick me up." About five minutes with Mr. Tully, I was talking about the new president's villa in their hometown, and a woman in the hotel picked me up with an umbrella.

I am very pleased with the actions of a woman who appeared with an umbrella in a quick action, and repeated many times, "This is Japanese hospitality, Omotenashi."

A smile party and a woman at the hotel fit in my camera.

I am proud of the Japanese culture that continues such kind behavior. Ginzo

There are many foreigners, and when I talk to one of the groups, it seems to be from Australia, today I visited Kokyogaien, Edo Tokyo Museum, Meiji-jingu Shrine, etc., and tomorrow I went to Hakone, then Kansai, Hiroshima (Miyajima) etc. .

On the way to Shiodome Station after leaving the garden, I met Mr. Y, a tourist correspondent. After that, I went to Ueno by Oedo Line.

Isn't Tsukuda Park a secret place for cherry blossom viewing in Chuo-ku?
Finally, the full bloom is near.

After that, I walked back a little around the Imperial Palace from Yasukuni Shrine. During the day of the week, there were a lot of people.
